Three things are a huge plus here. First of all, lots of space. The room and bathroom are spacious, especially by Italian standards. On the ground floor there is a large dining room, the garden and parking lot are also spacious. The windows offer a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. Secondly, the atmosphere of this place is very friendly, and the host is happy to talk and share knowledge. Thirdly, it is worth coming here to try the wonderful home-made wine, which is produced on site. Even those who don't like primitivo will like it, because it has a hidden secret which I won't revel — check it out for yourself.

We had a very pleasant overnight stay. The owners are very welcoming. The room was clean, quiet and warm. The memory mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The evening meal was delicious. A great location to visit Matera by car. We will definitely be back.
