Great! Residence a stone's throw (just two) from the historic center of Matera, newly renovated, clean, welcoming, all taken care of in detail by the very kind Mrs. Ra Anna who is always available for any need. Breakfast is rich, varied and the cakes exquisite.
I recommend it warmly.

I recommend Fragments because a few steps from the center; Clean, well-appointed, new, fragrant, well-groomed, welcoming environment. Ms Anna is courteous, helpful, kind, prepares delicious and delicious cakes for breakfast and also gave us some typical Matera bread when our stay ended! Rating: 10 out of 10

Anna, the owner, explained to us the attractions of the city, has given us the bread of Matera, has prepared for us a breakfast, the shower and the tub a real treat, the room and bathroom very warm, beautiful, are we coming back, thanks Matera but especially thanks to the FRAGMENTS.

Nice stay at Frammenti. Anna is a very kind host. Isabella a very nice person as well, always ready to support. Place is clean, new, safe and location is perfect. Nice mattress, good pillows and breakfast is available 24h a day. I strongly recommend this charmy place!

I should have reviewed this a few months ago as it was such a wonderful place to stay and deserves to have lots of custom.
We met the owner as directed and were shown into the spotless accommodation on the first floor. We had two rooms which were beautifully decorated and very well-equipped. There were cakes and drinks available for us and breakfast was left in the fridge and comprised a large bowl of fresh cherries, other fruits, cheeses, ham, yogurts etc. All in all, this place is exceptional and our host, Anna, was charming.
It is quite a walk into the old town but no problem at all and there are lots of restaurants nearby.

I recommend Fragments as it is in an optimal location near the city centre, well cared for and well cleaned. The owner Mrs. Ra Anna is hospitable, helpful, kind and ready to help you at the slightest difficulty and therefore makes you feel like you are at home.

Anna is a wonderful host. The room we stayed in (triple) was spotless and the single bed mounted with a bed guard for my 3 yo. Breakfast is plentiful with home made cakes and the room came with a mini fridge and some complementary drinks.
Anna gave us good advice about where to go in the town and will book tours for guests if they’d like her to.
Excellent value for money.

We had a triple room. This was a very nice B&B and the best thing was the owner picked us up from the bus station, what a pleasant surprise (otherwise we would have had to walk a couple kilometers). The room was spotless, quite spacious, modern and very appealing to the eye. The bathroom was also very clean and modern, nice shower with good water pressure. The beds were comfortable, the location was quite and within easy walking distance to all of the Matera attractions. The breakfast was enough to get you off to a good start for the day. Overall a nice B&B at a good price. We would definitely stay here again if ever in Matera. The only negative is you may not be able to leave bags at B&B after check out, the host directs you to a bag storage facility near by, this seems to be a problem with most B&B's.

Trying so hard to find something to complain about, cannot find one small detail whatsoever. Accommodation, cleanliness, breakfast, helpfulness — Excellent! So close to the Centro Storico. This is the place to stay in.
