🇸🇬Highly recommend this B&B if you're looking for an authentic living-in-a cave experience. The B&B is easily reachable from the train/bus station. Given its central location, it is easy to reach all the main tourist attraction. The breakfast offered is also great! Most importantly, the host, Nicola and his dad, are very amicable and endearing. Nicola went all out with his recommendations and offering of help. I felt completely safe and well taken care of.
We stayed at B&B Fiorentini during our trip to Matera and honestly, it was one of the highlights of our visit. The place felt more like staying in someone’s warm and welcoming home than a typical B&B. From the moment we arrived, we felt well taken care of. The host was incredibly kind and helpful—happy to give local tips and make sure we had everything we needed. You can tell he really cares about his guests. Breakfast was great too—fresh, tasty, and served with care. It was the perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore. Plus, the location is perfect: close enough to walk everywhere, but tucked away enough that it still felt peaceful. I’d definitely stay here again. Thank you Nicolas! ❤️
