We spent one night at this B&B, which is perfectly situated on the edge of the sassi. It is not within the limited traffic zone, but you are literally two minutes walking distance from the pedestrian zone. The B&B is lovely, and the hosts are very accommodating, nice people. The rooms are a nice size and are very clean and comfortable. The hosts came especially in the morning with fresh products for our breakfast, and everything was delicious. The apartment is on the first floor, and there is a small lift in the building. During our stay, we had a medical emergency with one of our friends, and they were very helpful and considerate towards us, and for that we are extremely grateful. I highly recommend this B&B when visiting Matera. Wonderful place and wonderful hosts.
I stayed in the single room for 2 nights and wished I stayed longer, the room is small but very well organized, really quiet and in the center of everything @ walking distance (10 min) from the trains station. The owners are really nice and super knowledgeable of Matera, the best way to go around, newly opened sights. The breakfast was really good: fresh local bread/ focaccia/pastries/cakes, cheese/ cure meat/yogurts/cereals/fresh fruit/butter jams. I hope to stay there again and spend more time visiting Matera and the surrounding area.
