We only stayed for one night (2 adults and one kid) in early October to visit Matera. We were alone for the full flat, which was really cool. The breakfast was really good with croissants and the bread from Matera. The room was comfortable with all the things you may need and a good bed. The surroundings are calm, it is not too close to the city center so you can enjoy the sunset on the hills. We wanted to try the pool but in October it was too cold. It will be for another time. We really had a pleasant stay and recommend this place if you are looking for a place close to Matera. Antonio is also a really nice person, always there if you need or want something. Thank you again Antonio for welcoming us, organising the visit tour in Matera for us and last but not least driving us in the city center to avoid parking our car there. I told you we felt like home and really enjoyed our stay. Take care.

Antonio is by far the best host you'll ever have in Italy, and his rooms are perfect! And clean! And dead silent! And the breakfast is amazing, with fresh local, still warm ricotta and traditional bread! I could go on and on…
Do yourself a favor and stay here and not in the Sassi when in Matera. Your host will be able to make your stay orders of magnitude more valuable.
