Fantastic, quintessential Matera Sassi home. It was just a lovely place to stay for 3 nights. Walking distance to everything, and the hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Loved our stay. What an amazing place.

Had a fantastic time at Aqua Dolce Matera. Beautiful renovated Sassi apartment, so unique and nothing like anything we’ve seen in Italy. Excellent location, easy walking distance to all cafes, restaurants and sights. Host Antonio was excellent and very helpful with all our needs. Breakfast was included and delicious and fresh. Highly recommended this place, just beautiful.

We stayed in this sassi home for a night. It is typical of Matera, runs over several floors. The rooms are superbly restored and comfortable. The host Antonio is most helpful with arranging parking and giving you local tips. The breakfast is generous and delicious. Wished we had stayed longer.
