My husband & I recently stayed 3 nights at this wonderful guest house, it offers everything you could wish for.
David, Avril & Maisie are just lovely people with a very warm & relaxed approach.

Great old fashion hospitality where you get to meat your hosts and actually live with them!

My daughter and I recently stayed at Avalon House Hotel and from the moment we walked through the door we felt so welcomed by Miriana. The Hotel is such a lovely place to stay.

Absolutely brilliant. The perfect place to unwind. We stayed for a couple of nights and loved every minute of our stay.

Unfortunately only had the pleasure of staying there one night.
Stayed with my daughter and the whole experience and location couldn't be faulted. Extremely nice staff and service excellent.

Rooms are fine if a bit dated. However, this is more than made up for by the staff who are extremely helpful. The golf packages they put together are exceptional value.

I stayed at Clone House for 4 nights and it was exactly the peaceful getaway I needed with my dog Rua. The house itself is beautiful.

Absolutely highly recommend lovely breakfast menu and spotlessly clean one of best bnb we have been in.

Beautiful Victorian era townhouse, turned into b&b. Service was outstanding, breakfast was lovely. We had one of the suites overlooking the front of the property and the houses across.

Ariel House is a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean, with comfortable rooms that make you feel right at home.

Lovely stay at this hotel with my sisters and our mum. We had a quadruple room and it was big enough for what we needed. The check in and out and key card collection was very easy and efficient.

Ihad a wonderful experience at Maldron Hotel Smithfield. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented, with great attention to quality and taste.

Great Pub! Fantastic selection of quality Beers. For the area the Beer costs are teasonable compared to others. Good freindly efficient staff.

Had Sunday dinner in the restaurant and the service, food and atmosphere were all excellent. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.

We were staying in Boyne House which was absolutely amazing!
Breakfast was in Conynham Arms and was really fresh and plenty of options. Friendly and attentive staff.

I was booked here through work. Absolutely stunning B&B thats actually better than some hotels ive stayed in and is spotless.

Trip to visit relative in the local hospital. The B&B is less than ten minutes walk from the hospital. Rooms are bright and comfortable and the staff, including Mia, were friendly and very helpful.

We stayed in the Talbot Hotel Wexford on Friday 05/06/26. Parking was easy to find in the car park beside the hotel and free for guests.

Great staff very helpful, we went for a sea view and walk in shower with seat and paid the extra, but it was worth it. The room was very clean and large the bed was comfy with a large flat screen TV

Hi I just stayed in the Darnley lodge I was with a hen party and they couldn't have been any more nicer.

The Darnley Hotel in Athboy was a great choice for our large family reunion. The staff were exceptional throughout, and the food was excellent.

One of the best places to stay. Absolutely lovely couple running it. The room was perfect. Bottle of water and tea, coffee, etc. Tv room with a variety of books and games. Bed is very comfortable.

SOOOO great! Well cooked. We ordered almost one of everything on the menu. Suggest oysters, mussels, lobster with chips, claws, prawns, and skip the bisque.

Came in here for lunch on a wet and blustery day with my 6 year old son. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they are a real asset at a time when customer service often isn't a priority.

Good location, off M50. We were visiting The Beacon Hospital next day. No worries about traffic. Stayed overnight, enjoyed bar food, very tasty. Great check in options. All round good experience.

October 17-20, 2025. The Ivyleigh House in Portlaoise, County Laois, is a charming retreat. Dinah and Jerry were incredibly thoughtful—like family—offering helpful tips for getting around.

We had a fantastic meal at the hotel restaurant. The food was absolutely 100%—fresh, delicious, and cooked perfectly. Every dish was full of flavour and exceeded our expectations.

This was our third time staying at the Maldron Hotel Portlaoise, and once again we had a great experience. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and well maintained.
