Connacht Hotels

The staff make this hotel. There are sufficient of them and they are friendly and very helpful, as well as well managed.
It's well placed for the town, situated centrally.

Absolutely lovely hotel, with a lovely historical luxury about it. Our room was spacious and overlooked the river Moy from the top floor.

Lovely bar and food with pleasant staff.
No complaints.

Really enjoyed food and drinks. Lovely staff. Very generous portions. Very festive and cosy too.

We had a great one night stay at the Landmark. Our room was a great size, beautifully decorated and had a partial view of the river.

Great location across from River. Glad we had a room in the back overlooking a roof as I met folks who were facing the river and also the N4 to Dublin and they said it was loud.

Such a beautiful home Kate has created! The house and grounds feel as though you've stepped back in time. You can see her exquisite taste and attention to detail everywhere.

This is a hidden gem… Absolutely fabulous… The hostess is Wonderful and very generous both with the home cooked breakfast and her time. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay here.
The staff were so friendly & helpful, the service was effortless from check-in to dinner. Which was fabulous, all empty plates which is unheard of with the children.

Excellent place to stay. Room was a bit small and very warm. Window opened a little which was good. Food was absolutely beautiful and staff were so friendly and welcoming.

Honestly the best garlic and parmesan wings I have ever tasted in my life. I was a bit skeptical at first but the flavors blew me away.

I bought a gift voucher for my parents to stay here and they absolutely loved it. They could not stop talking about how comfortable the rooms were.

The rooms were very comfortable and cozy. Stephen is a very kind host, always available for a tip on what to do in the area, where to eat. A very pleasant stay altogether.

Sea Mist is my opinion one of the best Guesthouses in Ireland. Stephen looks after your every need and is super friendly and easy to communicate and chat with.

Thank you for hosting us. We had a absolutely fantastic impression. We will see us again, that's granted.

Great accommodation. Well run and by great people. Feel right at home every time I stay here.

Arrived last night.
We received a warm welcome. Our room looked very neat. The beds were also very comfortable.
The main guests are very friendly and enjoy chatting with you.

I had a wonderful stay at Michaeleen's Manor B&B. Gerry and Margaret were wonderful hosts and made me feel right at home! The breakfasts were delicious and the room was very comfortable.

Lovely stay near Cong in-between two large lakes. Teresa was a perfect host.

Theresa was brilliant and couldn't have been more accommodating.

Attended for a he party all events flower crown making, cocktail making class and meal were held within the hotel. The staff were brilliant and so accommodating.

A friend and I spent 5 days/4nights at Victoria Galway. The accommodations were great. We lived the location as the hotel was near everything we wanted to do. Top notch staff as well.

We just got back from a wonderful stay at the Hardiman.

I had a great stay at the Hardiman hotel. The service from the staff was excellent.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay here.

Hands down the best hostel I've been to. It's not cheap but then again neither is Ireland. Very central location yet very quiet. Comfortable beds. Super clean. Friendly and welcoming staff.

What a lovely hostel! Clean and inviting. We booked a 4 bed private room (2 bunk beds) with shared bathroom/shower.
The common are is perfect. It has everything a traveler may need!

On of the best hostels I've had. I had a short but perfect stay here. Very nice and friendly employees, very clean rooms and breakfast was great as well.

I spent three days in Galway and two nights at the hotel, Tuesday to Thursday. Everyday had live music in the pub.

We loved this hotel! It was perfect, right next to the train station and our pickup spots for the 2 day trips we did to Aran Islands/Cliffs of Moher and Connemara.

We have stayed three times at this guest house and every time we have been delighted with everything.

Rooms are very comfortable, extremely clean, abd breakfast is very good. Location is close to all amenities. Will definitely stay there again.

Excellent location, comfy beds, car parking, clean rooms, good value for groups.

Some of us stayed in the Carrick Suites Plaza as part of a hen party. The apartment was spacious and clean and they really enjoyed their stay.

Great location, and the apartments were clean and comfortable. One staff member in particular, Mike, was an absolute gentleman—excellent at his job and genuinely kind and compassionate.

Fantastic from start to finish. Had a very large stag group and could not say enough about the place. Accomodation was super and prime location. Service is great. They have thought of everything.

We got married at Markree Castle on the 21st of June 2026, and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue.

This was a delightful experience. We attended a family wedding in their small chapel. The event rooms (cocktails, dining, dancing) were perfect. Old castle feeling.

I’ve stayed at almost a dozen different places across Ireland and The Stop takes the cake.

Lovely place with a family feel. Fabulous breakfast with vinyl records on the record player while we ate!
The owner, Michael is a lovely chap, he gave us some tips on places to visit.

Loved it, can’t wait to go back. The whole set up is so nicely done, beds are really comfortable and the setting is amazing. Andy looked after us so well too, with fresh scones every morning.

Look, full disclosure, a horrible part of my personality wants to leave a bad review so that people don’t find out how terrific this place is. It’s a selfish thing so I can keep it for myself.

Really nice place. Great walks around the lake and only 15 minutes walk to all the shops.

Fantastic place to stay great location free showers very quiet pitches set in between trees right beside a great park with lots of cycle paths and walkways.

Unbelievable stay at the Stilt house at Fernwood farm. Beautifully designed where you are submerged in nature and feel like the only two people in the world.

An oasis of calm in a crazy world! Myself and my husband stayed in the Stilt House for 2 nights in May.

Stayed at The Helm B and B recently 22 Sept to 26th. Room was more than adequate, great value for money. We were also impressed with the Breakfast, giving it a 9/10 value for money.

This pub is the west of Ireland, it has the charm, warmth, and culinary comfort you know is the west.

We spent a lovely night in Ealu Lodge. The location was great and the room was very clean and comfortable. Parking was right outside which was so easy.

We stayed at the hostel as part of a Clare Outdoor Club trip over the June Bank Holiday weekend, and it was perfect for our group.

Lovely accomodation — adorable rooms, close to everything but quiet, delicious breakfast. My husband and I stayed in the Salmon Weir room and loved looking out at the river and salmon run.

My husband and I visited on our first morning in Galway. The space was beautiful and we really enjoyed the food, so we decided to come back a second day.

Ideal accommodation for travel around galway and connemara, 5 mins walk from lovely town of clifden, excellent quality, cleanliness and so comfortable. Everything is provided for home from home.

Staying here for the Tour de Connemara. Fabulous apartment. Super clean. Everything you could possibly need. The location is absolutely perfect! Response from owners was quick.

This was a lovely B&B to choose if visiting Westport. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was great. The host was very friendly and gave good touring and dining suggestions. Very nice stay!

We stayed two nights at the Ashville Guest House, and it was our most comfortable stay in a long time! The room was clean, spacious and had a nice view with windows that open.

Fantastic accommodations with great customer service. Special shoutout to Michael for all the great recs and being so friendly and helpful. We really loved Athenry overall and the Lodge.

Loved everything about our visit! Gorgeous room, super easy check-in. Our attendant even insisted on helping with our bags. Our bathroom is huge!

Lovely B&B located very near quaint village of Cong. We couldn’t make it until 11:30pm but Mike waited up for us which was very much appreciated. Very attentive at breakfast and throughout.

Good room and great breakfast. Michael & Geraldine were excellent hosts with advice on dining and sightseeing.

Foyles B&B Hotel was the perfect choice for what has become numerous visits to Clifden and exploring the Connemara area. This property is beautiful, quiet, and full of character.

Foyle’s lives up to its reputation as a great hotel for great food and a good nights rest. Their car park facility was also a welcome surprise.

The Nest has a wonderful hostel environment. We loved the little details like the curtains on bunks and the lockers (bring your own lock! ). Beds were comfy and the common areas were very chill.

I booked a single room and had a really great experience. The place is clean, beautifully decorated, and has a calm atmosphere that gave me real peace during my journey.

Very positive experience of a hostel. Stayed in a female only dorm, slept well. Nice pub at back of house, lovely dining and lounge room. Hope to be back.

Just had such a pleasant stay here over easter weekend! The staff was so friendly and helped us to our room as soon as we arrived. The room was clean and calm (4 person female dorm).

They bake their own bread for the free breakfast and its reaaly good. Staff was so nice, understanding and helpfull. They go out if their way to make you feel safe there. Stayed in a 6 mixed.

The staff here are the nicest you can get. Both Chris and Salah made the experience feel more welcoming, and are both amazing.

Awesome Pros: Great location, the pig outside was so cute. Few pubs and a descent supermarket in 10 minutes walking distance.

Mise au vert, proche des points d'intérêts du Connemara dans un cottage Irlandais cosie.
