Cheap Hotels in Sumatra

Incredible place. Me and my friend were travelling Indonesia and were wanting to do the jungle trekking in bukit lawang, Sumatra.

We had the most amazing 3 days at Thomas Leaf Monkey Guesthouse. Brian and his team were so welcoming and helped us organise everything we needed for the jungle trek.

Amazing place! Massive room, fully air-conditioned, very comfortable big bed, nice clean bathroom with shower. The real gem is terrace/balcony overlooking the river and the jungle.

The Homestay of Dedit and his wife had everything we needed. The service was great and the owners are very kind and caring during our stay.

Another epic month at Jamburae.
Was there 5 years ago, came back for the same reasons.
Great and healthy food by chef Kelly!

We stayed for 10 days at the jamburae lodge over christmas and new years. The rooms are clean and the food is absolutely amazing.

Strategic location with well-maintained facilities, all access and services are very structured.

Fabolous Stay in this Sweet City Villa. It has everything that we need. All complete. Bargaining and Reasonable price too. My Kids love the swimming pool. We rented a car from Padang to Pekanbaru.

Very clean house, double story house with two bedrooms. Enough for 6 adults. My wife is very happy cooking in the villa. It has fridge, spoon utensils, and rice cooker.

Really nice hosts! We lived with them for 2 days, going to the market, cooking and enjoying diner together.

Very pleasant experience. Nino and his mom made us feel very welcome, answered all our questions and treated us with some delicious food. Would totally recommend!

An absolute gem of a place with some wonderful people and delicious food.

Very friendly staff, a very comfortable place to rest & work, enjoy the silence here, my suggestion is please give Qibla directions in the room.

What an amazing vacation. Just got back from 5 days at Eddie's Homestay with my family. Pick up and drop off at airport fantastic. The location is amazing, both the homestay and beach location.

I had an amazing stay at Eddies! The beds are comfortable, the food is really good and Eddie is the friendliest! At walking distance to the beach and a true Surfers Paradise!

This is without a doubt the best place we’ve stayed in a very long time. The ladies who run it are such lovely people and the breakfast ist absolutely amazing, with homemade bread!

What a lovely accommodation! Situated right on the beach towards the end of Tuapejat town. My room was on the ground floor, spacious and bright.

The host is a very nice person, polite, available for everything and a really good surfer and teacher, we had the best surf session ever in an amazing place.

We didn’t sleep here but we went out surfing with Fian for two days straight. It was just perfect, Fian took us to an amazing spot, perfect for beginners/intermediate and enjoyed it so much!
