Bukit Lawang Hotels

We had the best time at Green Travellodge! Lovely people and a very nice and clean accomodation. The high light was our jungle trek with our amazing guides Randy and Anto, and the amazing chef Alfi!

It was excellent at the Green Travel Lodge. I would definitely book with them again, and a huge thank you to the guides and Ezzi and Haikal – they did a perfect job!

We had a great time at this hotel in Bukit Lawang! The location is excellent – right by the river and close to the jungle.

Genuinely unreal place and unreal service. The food is also absolutely amazing. We did the jungle trek and they provided us with one of the best humans we have ever met called Eddy. Highly recommend.

Happened across Lawang Inn restaurant looking for some local flavours. Chicken Lawang and Ikan Terik with eggplant & anchovy both delicious & spiced to your liking.

Amazing little homestay run by the nicest family. They accept you in as family. Food was 10/10. Please get the semur curry. It’s exactly what you need after a few days trekking.

Jeanie, the general manager, was recommended by our hotel in Pulau Weh and it was a recommendation from heaven. She was not on side, but always available via phone.

Jungle River House was the perfect place to stay for doing jungle treks! I was able to organize a pickup from KNO airport/ a day tour for the next day before I arrived.

Absolutely loved our time here. It’s tucked away near the jungle and is very private. The communal style dinners were delicious with many options.

I had the best experience here with Ida.
I stayed here for three nights plus two night, three days on a trek in the jungle. We saw so many orangutans, baboons, Thomas monkeys and Gibbon monkeys.

Really nice accommodation. The room was spacious and the bed was very big and comfortable. It had mosquito nets that covered the whole bed comfortably. The bathroom was also spacious (no hot water).

My wife and I stayed at On The Rocks — a hotel recommended by the Lonely Planet guide —, and we could not have made a better choice.

Amazing accomodation on the top of the village of Bukit Lawang overseeing the wonderful nature surrounding it. We did a 3D2N jungle trek and were amazed by the whole experience.

The bungalow is very close to the national park. The rooms are nice and the people are the kindest.

We chose the Orangutan Bungalow to allow us to explore the rain forest and undertake one of the overnight jungle tours.
