Novotel Semarang

​I stayed here recently I can tell thar the location exceptionally strategic—easy to get around the city.
As an Accor Plus member, I was welcomed with complimentary snacks, which I appreciated. However, the snacks were left uncovered, causing them to dry out by the time I arrived.
​Regarding the room, it felt quite dated and is definitely in need of upgrade. As for the breakfast, the variety was okay.
I can sat iy’s a decent stay for the location, but there is definitely room for improvement.

My weekend well spent!

Upon my arrival all staff very kind and helpfull! I was lil bit early and didnt expect my room is ready. Thanks to Mba Wina, Mas Alfian, Pak Sunu (a lil forget, sorry).
Next day while enjoying my breakie in resto all staff gave me surprise! Thanks to Mba Rista and Pak Tohir! Such as touching moment.
Upon my departure, they gave me late check out while waiting my flight. Overall very great stay and gonna see u soon!

It s a strategic hotel for those who want the simplicity of staying. The staffs are also so friendly and polite. The room was spacious and clean. Ya, even the towel is clean and smell good. Just walk around and u ll find many delicious culinaries.

This place is super comfy, especially the room—it’s spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. The room is fully equipped with complete facilities, so everything you need is literally there. The cleanliness really makes the stay feel more comfortable and relaxing. On top of that, the staff are very friendly and polite, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable.

I had an amazing time at this pool! The place was very clean, the water crystal clear, and the atmosphere incredibly relaxing. The staff Mr. Risti were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help — truly making the experience memorable.
The pool area was well-maintained, with plenty of comfortable seating and fresh towels available. I also appreciated how organized everything was, from check-in to service. Whether you’re coming for a quick swim or a full day to unwind, this place delivers comfort and quality.

We stayed with family and received excellent service. The staff were friendly and helpful. We encountered a problem with our connecting room reservation, but management provided a prompt solution. The room facilities are quite good, although the interior is classic. Hopefully, they will be renovated with a newer interior design in the future. The elevator also appears old, so it needs to be monitored for its suitability and safety. The restaurant's food is also delicious, but the main courses could be more varied.

A unique experience and I would like to repeat it. The hotel in general is very good, very complete and with good facilities. The Citrus restaurant has an unbeatable atmosphere. The employees are very friendly with the customer, they make you feel at home, especially many thanks to Indah and Ale for their love and care. I would repeat it without a doubt. Thank you.

The hotel location is very strategic, good experience to stay here. And for Alaya Spa, would definitely recommend her massage it was soo relaxing and professional, good behavior therapist Retno. Will definitely repeat it. Thnks a lot will be back again.

Hmmm… old hotel and I felt that it is not that well maintained.
The room was huge and the bed was decent, yet there was only one set of slippers when there are 2 guests. Bathroom is old and should be maintained more. Service was standard.
The most disappointing part was the taste of some food in the breakfast area. They could seriously do better for a class of Novotel and Semarang.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. From the warm welcome at check-in to the stunning room views, everything was perfect. The attention to detail and customer service were top-notch. The pool area was relaxing and beautifully maintained. Great value for the price!

Great location! Walking distance to couple of malls and many street food options around the hotel. Although the hotel may be a little bit old but it’s very clean and cozy. Love the pool, feels like it belongs to me. 🤭 All the staff are friendly, overall customer service was great!

The pool is spacious and well-maintained. The staff (Mas Risty) was so friendly and knows best for the guests. It was really a great experience to stay at Novotel Semarang. I will definitely come back here for a short or long stay in Semarang.

Swimming pool is good. Gym is good.
I enjoy so much. People are very nice, and they are always smiling. Room and restaurants are also nice.
I would comment to offer more various good style, like Chinese and western style food.
Nevertheless, I will stay next time.

The reception area, start from front lobby attendee are responsive to the guest luggage and helpful. As the basement for parking space are quite tight, as It not enough to give you peace of mind leaving your vehicle parked between spaces.
The room are nice, with a view of semarang main street. Ammenities and room beverage compliment are well served as it come in jar which are plentiful and conveniently reusable for our satisfaction in tea and cpffee. Something I unfimilliar with in hotel room.
The bed and sheet are clean and comfortable. Other facilities are adequately provided as the TV are quite outdated, upgraded television are much needed addition.
The pool is nice with wind breeze and sunbathe area. Pool attendant is quite thorough keeping the pool area clean and friendly too.
Breakfast is nice, providing ample enough of delicious food.

It was our second stay in Novotel Semarang. We had a pleasent stay at Novotel Semarang. The staffs are helpfull. We got a room upgrade with gold All member. The food was good, ice americano was my favorite. The location is perfect, in the heart of Semarang city. We can go to malls on foot, many restaurant and street food stalls around it. Thank you Novotel.

Gym facilities: The space is modern, clean, and well-equipped with a variety of machines for cardio and strength training. Treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, and a solid selection of free weights were all available, catering to different fitness needs.
The layout was spacious, making it easy to work out without feeling crowded. The gym also provided complimentary towels and fresh water.
Also, there're large windows that allowed plenty of natural light, making the space feel open and inviting.

Great to have this gym at the Novotel hotel. Good facilities and opening times, spacious gym, and complimentary towel and water. Friendly service, willing to help when needed. Spa and pool are also located next to the gym.
Wonderful addition to my stay.
