Stayed 2 nights here from 11-13 february. The lobby was so hot, I even tell the staff, and he aggreed with me, checked in around 5 pm, reception was so nice. Then I go to the lift, it's quite unpleasant, dusty, and you can hear weird sounds. And it often goes up to the 24th floor without even asking, even when you already tap your room floor number, it still goes up.
Going to the room, nothing dramatic until I use the wastafel, the water goes directly to the floor. Thankfully I called the staff and they respond it suoer fast. It solved. But the shower temperature is confusing, it's too hot, can't set it in warm mode. And plus you can hear the sounds from opposite rooms. That's uncomfortable.
Breakfast is another story, not so many that you can choose, table settings are ugly, big chairs that you don't need, food variety are limited. Taste: meh, but the staff are super good. Same menu 2 days in a row. Barely eat. Took only boiled eggs. Black sticky rice porridge is too watery. Not so many options, soto semarang in two days (didn't even dare to try it).
Checking out is good, but the door guy isnt available, didn't even bother to open the door or opening the taxi I order while I was with some bags. Nobody there to assist. And that's all.
