Sunday buffet brunch was close to Perfection. Staffs was extremely courteous, kind and timely. Everything on the menu tasted scrumptious but that pepper pot is to die for. By far one of the best customer service experience I've ever had at a restaurant in Guyana.

The service of this place is the worst I have ever experienced. When you check in, there is first no clear direction as to where the front desk is. Then when you get to the front desk the guys just look straight at you as if you're crazy. Then at lunch, when you go to the restaurant the staff said that they don't have any food. Nothing at all. So we had to go looking for food from somewhere else. Would be dangerous if you don't know the area or if you're not from Guyana. And that's not all, they serve breakfast at 10am. So if you have plans of leaving to go out before that, forget breakfast. Then the utensils were not clean. My wife's fork and knife were both rusty and had weird smudges as if they were used and not washed properly. The service is ridiculous, there is hardly anyone around to assist you at all. We even called the number of the place several times and it just rang out. The morning, we got up around 7and the restaurant was opened, but there was no one in there. No kitchen staff, no attendant, no one at all. When we checked out, there was no one at the front desk. We had to go looking around the place until we found a guy on a bicycle that was about to leave. We told him we would like to check out, all he said to us was "just leave the keys upstairs" and he rode off. The staff needs to be trained in hospitality and service. It's rather frustrating to be in a place like that. Otherwise, the rooms are nice, decent for the price.

The staff at wind jammer were very professional and accommodating.

Stayed for three days and three nights. Exceptionally courteous and helpful staff. Room was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. Will definitely stay again. Was disappointed at the lack of variety of fruits for breakfast. In Guyana there can definitely be a wider variety.

After 40 years I decided to go to Guyana. I wanted to stay in kitty because of my friends. We got in late but to my surprise our room it was the wrong room with only one bed which was a size of a shoe box. Mine u I had someone call and spoke to the owner and she promised to have everything ready. : (. The few staff I saw is very friendly. The breakfast sucks, it should be more Caribbean. The best part is the AC in the room. They need to be more American since people are coming from abroad, a hot water pot in our room for an early morning Tea or coffee.

I hated it. Worst service ever, food was more than an hour late and when I got my food I was almost raw… never again.

Great venue to have a special event with a small to medium size group of 50-100. The location and food is great.

Through enjoyed my time at Windjammer. I decided to stop by Guyana on my way back from Trinidad Carnival and Windjammer was a last minute decision but a good decision.
1) Service was attentive when asked upon.
2) Clean and comfortable with A/C.
3) Flat screen TV with cable was definitely a plus.
4) The swimming pool looked new and clean.
5) Food was straight Guyanese like my mum cooked it.
6) Pretty decent Wifi service.
7) Bathroom was spacious Most important the prices were affordable for the 3 nights we stayed.

I spent the last ten days at Windjammer and enjoyed everyday. Started off with a few kinks that were immediately rectified thanks to Caery and Rosie. Roxanne, Michelle and Orin were all extremely helpful with whatever we needed even. I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff, food at the restaurant was excellent, pool was refreshing, I was a floating sensation, rooms were nice and big with poolside view. I would recommend this resort to family and friends, plan on returning next year, since I missed my 930 dinner date.
