Aspire Plus

I booked directly through the hotel and from the moment I reached out, during our stay and up to check out time, they were absolutely AMAZING. 10/10 for experience, friendly staff, comfort and owners interaction. 13 of us stayed Oct 28 to Nov 2.11 of my Jamaican friends visited for the first time and they loved everything about their experiences even their stay, food and Aspire team.
Aspire is conveniently located within walking distance to a casino and market where you can get fresh fruits daily. It's also center of town and when you stay, ask for a room with a view and a chance to see the beautiful sunset or sunrise. This hotel has its own bar and area for private events. They will cater your breakfast and lunch, if requested, to your personal preference. They addressed all concerns immediately and even went above and beyond getting reservations at the Outside Bar for 30 people, which by the way, you must check out. We had a blast there. They got us taxi service that was safe and the owner also gave some of my friends a ride to our event. What I find at this boutique style hotel, is that you get a more personalized service than if you stay at a big chain hotel and despite it being in the heart of the city, they ensured you were safe at ALL TIMES. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Thank you Team Aspire for making all 13 of us feel like family by the end of our stay. We all said you're our first preference for a hotel stay when we return.

Considering the overall infrastructure in the city, this is a good place to stay. They have all the necessities down pat.
The room is well-maintained, reflecting how it is shown in the photos. All the linens are clean and soft. AC is working well (this is important to have a good sleep in the 30 C weather). There are no amenities provided so bring your own. Despite the hot and humid weather, there is no bugs/mosquitos in the room or even in the hotel.
The windows aren't soundproof so we could hear the traffic and music outside. Doesn't bother us but could be a minus for some.
The elevator can be a bit moody. We just took the stairs when it's stuck downstairs.
The staff is a great selling point here. They are very helpful. We landed on the day of Diwali holiday so shops were closing early. After dropping our bags off, we headed out to hunt for dinner before it's too late. The owner asked us where we're going, recommended a place and even drove us even though it's only a 380m walk. He even offered to stay while we waited to pick up the food.
The reception/breakfast lady answered our questions about taxi going to the airport and helped us arrange one for our safety.
Breakfast starts at 7.30am and is complimentary. During holiday, it starts a bit later at 8am. Breakfast includes bread, all condiments, bacon, turkey bacon, fried eggs, beans, waffle, watermelon. Coffee and juice are also provided.
