Arrived home yesterday from amazing 10 days at blue bay. Special thank you to the wonderful bar staff that made our stay so wonderful The restaurant is really lovely the food was really nice lots of choice. We were very lucky to have free upgrade to the Jacuzzi room. 😊😊. Thank you ever much. Rooms are cleaned everyday and fresh towels everyday. All the staff work so hard to make your holiday as lovely as possible Thank you again Blue Bay we will be back 🇬🇷🇬🇷.

Been here 2 days spent a lot of money coming here and found out that you can only have beer or wine on all inclusive (if you don’t like them you have a very sober holiday) plus you have to pay for water plus no kettle in room! 4-5 * hotel hummm But I will say food and our room is fantastic too.

Myself, wife and daughter are not long back from our third two week stay in this beautiful hotel and were blown away by the kindness and generosity we experienced from the start to end of our holiday thank you all so much for memories we will never forget. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings and the hotel and grounds itself are just as beautiful. Well kept very clean and modern, something for everyone to enjoy from relaxing by the pools or chilling in the many seating areas in lobby area's, to the tennis court, kids club, mini disco in the evening for little one's. There is entertainment every night either in the amphitheatre in hotel grounds or at the pool bar area. Variety of dance shows, my favourite the Greek night with live music and dancers. The rooms are modern spacious and clean, very comfortable and cleaned daily by hardworking cleaning staff. The restaurant serves freshly prepared and cooked food with a wide range of choice daily something for everyone to enjoy, also fresh salad and fruit available during lunch and dinner, again the staff work tirelessly to ensure everything is just right for you to enjoy. Also a wide range of drinks for you to help yourself to a meal times. The pool area in main building has a pool bar that serves various drinks/beverages and snacks throughout the day, including a tea/coffee machine to help yourself to all day. There is a shuttle service to the beach down the hill and back.

I just came back from my 2 week holiday from the Blue Bay Hotel and miss it already. The location is fantastic. You have to climb a lot of stairs or walk the slope to the sea but some exercise never hurts.
The service and the food is fabulous and the friendliness indescribable. The room was always clean and you could also see that the staff made a lot of effort.
If you are a bit lazy or bad at running, you should treat yourself to a room in the main house because the Annex rooms, which are a bit quieter, are a little away. I felt very comfortable. Thank you very much!

We’ve had the most amazing week here and will be sad to leave tomorrow. We were blessed to have the Helios room with private plunge pool. The staff are so friendly and thoughtful. The food is good. I’m a fussy eater and could always find something yummy to eat. The bars are well stocked and I have a new love of Raki Libre. Beautiful views over looking the Cretan bays.

Been here for a week so far. Was here 3 years ago and it's still fantastic. Staff superb and trying their best during uncertain times. Cleanliness is their priority as is safety. Our room is lovely. 3 more days to go.

Wonderful hotel, I highly recommend it. Very welcoming staff, restaurant waiters, bar waiter in particular (a great person), receptionists, maids. I have never seen such kind and warm people. I will be back for sure ❤ thank you for making us have a fantastic stay.

The hotel and staff are really nice. The food and fitness possibilities are great and we had a lot of fun. It is close to two beautiful beaches and on top of a hill, so that you have an amazing view over the sea. Aqua fitness and dancing is amazing with Timi as she always will put you in a great mood for the day. We had a lot of fun with her and awesome barkeeper Antonis, who will always make you laugh. This place is worth a stay for active and sports loving people as well as for somebody who wants to enjoy a relaxing vacation in an always sunny and beautiful place!

I find the hotel very nice, rooms are well equipped and above all very clean. Staff is also very friendly so everything in one top.

Simply everything great, but you should make sure to book a room in the main house. In the outbuildings, the bathroom is very small and there are many steps to overcome to the main house.

The area is stunning, hotel beautiful, food lovely and the staff are amazing.

Me and family holiday for a week on 15th October to 22nd October 2019 we had the most amazing time the staff were amazing they were very helpful and couldn't do enough the food was lovely and plentyful there was a lot of variety we had an amazing room with a private pool and fantastic views the rooms were clean and the cleaners done amazing job we will be returning to the hotel as it was beautiful.

We are still here but the place is so lovely we couldnt wait to 5 * it! We are here with 2 adults and 4 children age 2-12. Gorgeous place, amazing food, and the staff are absolutely wonderful, friendly and thoughtful. 100% will be back again.

What can I say about this hotel? The food is great and have so much choice! Good entertainment in the evenings. The staff are brilliant! Really friendly, helpful and caring. Bar staff always served with a smile and made you feel so welcomed! Thank you George and Dimitri! The animation team are excellent! Every day arranging activities at the hotel; darts competition, water aerobics, volleyball, mystery cocktail ect. Very enthusiastic! Thank you again Maria and the other lady (didn’t get her name before we left). The all inclusive drink selection is very good as you have white wine, red wine, rose, beer, raki cocktails (we love raki! ) and soft drinks. You could get drinks from the pool or from the bar near reception. Plenty of choice of where to sit and chill. The location is very good with being close to 3 beaches, shops, mini markets and supermarkets, the quad biking safari is a 2 minute walk (recommend) and boat hires 5-10 minute walk. A bus is available outside the hotel to go to Heraklion and other destinations for good prices (Heraklion return €7.60 each). We had an issue with our shower that we mentioned on a survey, by the next morning they fixed it! They take what you say seriously and sort it. Our room was lovely and had a beautiful view. Had a bell boy take us to our room when we arrived and pick us up to bring us to reception, as we were in the annex. We phoned up reception and within minutes was at our door to collect us.

A fantastic hotel, lovely apartment and great choice of tasty food everyday. Staff were all amazing. You won’t be disappointed here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We've just left Blue Bay and had such an amazing time, the staff were brilliant, food lovely and the hotel was beautiful and spotless throughout.
We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi and stunning views. Kid's entertainment is great, the staff really did everything they could to make our holiday special. This hotel really is a gem, highly recommended!

We’ve just returned from our 2nd brilliant stay at The Blue Bay Resort. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, the staff are all amazing, brilliant food and spacious rooms in a stunning location. Just got back from a week at the Blue Bay and right from the moment we arrived we were welcomed by friendly staff and helped with suitcases. We stayed in the annex part which is a short walk away from the hotel and the pool bar there was manned by wonderful Vladimir. Plenty of sunbeds on the pool roof. … The food and drink was great I do think there could be more variety in terms of spirits on the all inclusive package but I must say on the last night of our holiday I had an amazing spaghetti carbonara so compliments to whichever chef made it on the 11th of May. Would not hesitate to return to this hotel someday. Overall rating: 4/5

There is so many great things to say about this hotel. The receptionists were very helpful and recommend many places to visit. The waiters/waitresses would always be polite and ask if you had finished with your dishes. The cleaners did a superb job of cleaning the rooms. We stayed in a large room (533) and it was spotless. Overall, every staff member was friendly, helpful and great at their job. All of the meals I ate left me feeling full too. There was a wide range of options, and they were refreshed regularly. I would have to say though, that pork was frequently served. To end the review, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone going.

I love it here. We are currently here on our honeymoon and it has been great. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. The food is delicious. Im quite a picky eater and worry when I go away that I won't like anything. I have no worries here. They have samey stuff on every night, which is very good for me. It can get busy in the food area but there is always a table somewhere in there just have to find it. Would highly recommend this place.

Rest in this hotel in early August 2018 all-inclusive. The hotel is on top of the mountain and accordingly scattered on this mountain, be prepared that from the distant buildings the road to the restaurant and reception will take 10 minutes. All the movement around the hotel is walking up the stairs. The beach is pebble, the food in the restaurant is the best of all praise. The road to the beach is a descent from the mountain with a slope under 15-25 degrees. The rooms are ordinary, nothing supernatural, cleaned differently from perfect cleanliness to smeared dirt on the floor (regardless of tips and their quantity). The staff were generally friendly, but the stay was overshadowed by the check-in and formal approach, arrived at the hotel with a two-year-old child at 7am, after a sleepless night, the child did not reassure us, and to us: " check in at 14.00, while you can walk, go to the spa, restaurant. " We wanted to pay for an earlier check-in, got turned down. And then the night shift changed and the girl moved us in 15 minutes. Safe toll, about 20 euros a week.

I don't recommend it. The hotel is on the 3rd, definitely. Located on a hill, the descent to the sea is very steep, and not so close to the beach. The staff are nice, friendly, kind. But the hotel itself is old. The All inclusive system requires mandatory refinement. What was ate in the hotel from drinks, you can not call — AIn. It doesn't look like it was a renovation. The cleaning is not very, the food is repetitive. In our room there were problems with the sewerage system, which was never fixed. The restaurant didn't clean the tables well, it was dirty.

Fabulous 11 nights at blue bay, everybody has been so helpful. Entertainment is good, fun at the pool with music and games! Food is nice with a good variety — somrthing for everyone. Rooms were very nice spacious & clean. Nothing is too much trouble, all staff are very friendly and polite with a constant smile for everyone. Would highly recommend to anyone with or without kids.

Very cool rested there with his family. Cool pools 4 grand. Great menu, you could always walk around and find something delicious and hearty. Very friendly staff and cheerful animators. Daily evening shows in the amphitheatre.
It was five minutes to go to the sea. Beautiful bay and in general everything is fine.

My wife and I recently returned from a fantastic 10 day stay here. Its a Beautiful place. Excellent service. Friendly helpful staff. Great choice and selection of different types of food. Stunning views. Will definitely return here. Highly recommend.

My Wife and I stayed for our anniversary all of the staff worked to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable the food was exemplary as much as you wanted. The rooms were kept to a very high standard with daily maid service. I noticed some visitors have remarked about the amount of stairs. My reply to those is simple. Use the lift. Thank you Blue Bay for making our stay memorable.

It's a great hotel. I don't know what the 4 star hotel should be, but I liked it. The food is great, everything is very tasty, and the pizza is better than in many places in Moscow. It's a long way to the sea, but I'm not critical, I don't have a sea. Four stars for a fairly large distance from the big cities (well, there are souvenirs, shops, restaurants)
We rented a car, I advise everyone to do the same. When you travel to different places, you can see the stunning views.

My partner and I have been twice and have booked again for 2019 We love it! Everything from the staff to the food is fantastic! Such a lovey hotel, lovely views, lovely staff, great entertainment! I cant wait to go back in 2019!

From arrival the service was exemplary, a bag containing sandwiches, crisps and fruit was provided, which helped with the long travel. A short 20 minute transfer was very appealing The rooms at the hotel were exceptional The staff were a credit to the hotel The entertainment each night was perfect and really added to the experience that the hotel provided The town of Agia Pelagia was a mere 15 mi it's walk away, with a local bus service to Heraklion being available at only €7 return Would recommend this hotel to anyone, it will result in the perfect holiday.

Room with sea view, spacious, modern. There is everything you need (hair dryer, bathrobe, shampoos, H. Brush, refrigerator, safe, dryer). Food is varied, the choice of fruit is sufficient. Lose weight will not work). The pools have a full range bar for a pleasant stay. Evening entertainment activities. The staff is attentive and friendly.
Chic Rose Garden. Picturesque mountain reliefs and not less beautiful beaches are nearby three. The shuttle will take you to the nearest. Rested in early May, the temperature of a comfortable scorching sun is not yet, bathed. Large selection of excursions. Everything blooms, very beautiful!

This was a lovely hotel, the view from our room was to die for, it was a picture postcard view of the bay, food cleanliness was excellent, didn't really go to evening entertainment. Hotel was a bit out of the way and it wasn't easy to get down to bay due to steep hill, I was unable to go down to the bay due to mobility problems. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay, I don't think it could be better! Food = Great, Pools= Enjoyable so on and on… The only thing you should be warned about is that WI-FI is only in reception and the lifeguard was grumpy and kicked us out of the pool for jumping in. (You are allowed to do it). You also should bare in mind that the staff have a great sense of humor!

Excellent stay in one of the best hotels I have been in the last years. There is always someone to help you if you require anything, very friendly staff and always with a smile. We had an issue with the room which was fixed immediately. The variety of the food is unimaginable. Too many options which change everyday. This is a 10 out of 10 experience.

Just an incredible place to stay. Everything is fine. The food is just a little finger-licking! Every day something new, a huge variety of meat and seafood, even snails were served! The beach is not far, the area is beautiful. The Cretans are very kind, responsive and sociable. The rooms are cleaned daily, bring flowers to the room. Would love to come back here again.

I have just come back from Blue Bay Resport and I can honestly say I have never stayed in a friendlier, and amazing hotel. The views are amazing, the hotel is immaculate, and the staff are the nicest people you have met. From the hotel manager to the bar staff, they all are so welcoming and polite and I have nothing bad to say about any of it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone whether you have kids or just a nice week away it is the best hotel.

Absolutely amazing here. Had a nightmare with our initial hotel so relocated ourselves to this hotel and the staff bent over backwards to make us happy even giving us a free upgraded room. The food was amaxing plenty of choice and delicious. The rooms and the Rest of the hotel immaculate with good entertainment every evening. Alexa on the front desk was so helpful and went above and beyond her duties in my opinion. Great hotel overall :)

Nice hotel, great staff, clean, comfortable, great kitchen. Thanks for the rest! Rested from 7 to 15 October, in the afternoon heat we went to the sea, but the evening is cool and it gets dark early. After nine PM were hour of the show, especially there was nothing, next to nothing too. Suitable for a quiet family holiday. Those who love violently to leave, the fall will be boring. Most likely in the summer here seething life.

Beautiful Resort, clean, great staff and very good food. Bad note off to the resort very dirty, plastic etc everywhere.

Location The location is great, quiet and peaceful.
Food. Unfortunately, a little seafood. Every day the same menu, so that did not try today, be sure to try tomorrow.
For walking the place is not very, not pedestrian. More likely to rent a car and forward.

Me & my partner spent 5 days in this absolute joke of a hotel last week & I can tell you that never before have I experienced such a ridiculous place. "All inclusive" is not all inclusive in the slightest. I am aware that some hotels have exclusions but neither me nor my partner, who have been on MANY all inclusive holidays, have experienced as many exclusions as this — "all" inclusive finishes at 11pm, you have to pay for drinks after this time (even water! ), some juices (pineapple, orange, for example), to use towels, the safe in your room, the sauna, the indoor pool, one of the buses to one of the two beaches, the list goes on! And one of the most shocking was you had to pay for the freshly squeezed orange juice machine, even though oranges were available for free?! I am so confused. Furthermore, neither of us were made aware of these exclusions while booking or even after booking the holiday. The general manager of this hotel was incredibly rude to both me and my partner, saying things about me to him behind my back, printing off my previous review and telling him to remove it, shouting at me and lying to my partner telling him that I shouted at her! She is the rudest, most disgusting woman I have ever encountered, she made the holiday at least ten times worse than it already was and wouldn't go out of her way to improve mine or my partners time at her ridiculous hotel.

Food excellent… quality and choice. Staff great. Pools small for children really. Good for families probably than adults who want a romantic break! Too much disco music and organised events. Overall a good average. Nothing to moan about but wouldnt come back… not just hotel but Crete itself. Other than knosos and museum little else.

Great hotel very clean and modern, this was a family holiday in Crete and loved every minute. Endless ice cream for the kids from 10am — 17.00. I would recommend. Best regards Andy.

Absolutely superb. Can't fault it. We were greeted by a lovely lady and taken to our rooms in the Annex by a short mini bus journey of 2 mins. Our room is good and the bathroom is amazing — more wet room than typical bathroom. Modern throughout and everywhere you go is pristine. The food is beautiful with lots of choice for all. No complaints. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I can't name any in particular as they have all had a happy smile and seem to be totally genuine in this. There have been lots of nice touches too. A glass of orange juice on arrival, a bottle of water in the fridge on arrival, towel animals on your bed after maid service, personal explanation of food service… the list goes on. I've read some complaints on other sites but really can't understand why. 4 days of my hols left here. Looking forward to it.

Improve the use of the pool with ban on inflatable beds and the rude occupation of deckchairs!

Came on a 10 day all inclusive holiday. 2 adults & 2 children. Hotel spotlessly clean. Towels and bedding changed every day. Food exceptional, plenty of choices for everybody. Staff very friendly. View from our room wonderful sea views. Recommend this hotel to anyone.

Then… Where to start…
My girlfriend and I stayed here for only one night! (phew) … Between the shower that only worked half and the pseudo go inclusive which is limited to the softs, we quickly understood where we were…
The pools look more like open air playgrounds where 100 kids would play to jump on you…
At breakfast, the fruit juice is paid despite our "all-in"…
Basically: to avoid!

The perfect hotel if you want to relax and not to have to do anything during your holidays. Several pools, 2 pool bar, close to the sea. Rooms are very comfortable and the food is great! But the best of all is the staff, always friendly and willing to help.

The team is very friendly and available to make successful holiday. The view is super nice!

Food is not bad. Not far from the airport. Rooms the Colossus. Cleaning for 2 euros of tea that we realized that it was a direct affront to gornišnoj (I took and only towels changed) Staff on reception were not pretty, not a nice guy. But there is a left luggage office. And packing your luggage. Cris kacapov guitar before 4 am "Obama is PI. With ".

Home Arrived this afternoon. Had a rest with the husband and son (5 years) 10 days 7-17 September. In general it was a very friendly atmosphere, service is unpretentious, cosy room (lived in bungalows), daily cleaning. The hotel is suitable for families and the elderly, young couples will be boring, nothing to do at night, little entertainment for children including. The food is good, pleasing seafood, fruits, ice-cream. Views from almost everywhere at the feast for the eyes! the beach is not far away, the landscaped, but fairly steep descent-rise, on the 3rd, the 4th day you get used. The hotel is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday.
