Very conveniently located close to the Berlin tower and the tube station! You could walk to most of the famed Berlin landmarks from here or hop on the tube to take you to your destination! Big spacious rooms and very helpful concierge!

Very clean, comfortable room. Service was very good as well. Price is relatively low, and it is close to major attractions. There is a metro U station 200m from the hotel, so you can get anywhere easily.

A quiet hotel close to the city centre. Typical Novotel. To get to the Nikolaev district with old streets and market, cafes and souvenir shops it is enough just to cross the street. To Alexanderplatz — 8 minutes in a leisurely step. Not far from the subway. The Reichstag is also a walk or a subway ride.

Amazing customer service! As a result of unfortunate events in the family and confusion about our reservation and arrival date, we arrive at the hotel a week earlier than our original booking (… and yes, it can actually happen! ). Somewhat bewildered and having to cater for two tired kids, we are somewhat lost for words when reality hits us and we have to talk to the lady in the reception. Fortunately, she is really friendly and welcoming, and following a conversation with one of her managers, I assume, she has not only secured a room for us, but she also ensures us that the price will remain the same — despite the fact that it was completely our own responsibility. As a family, we will never forget this hospitality and customer service! On top of this, the room was great, superb parking and great breakfast. Thank you for a great experience — especially to your receptionist upon arrival! All the best…

It was a great stay until on the departure morning a lady came into the room from the cleaning service without knocking without knocking.
In my opinion, this is not the way to happen. Above all, I would have understood if she wanted to clean up, but on the day of departure it is not cleaned before we leave. Funny situation definitely

A very good hotel for it's level. Lobby bar menu is strange though (only burgers and fast food alike), I would like to see more decent food like soup and pasta maybe (kids menu had it for instance). Other then that price tag is good and everything clean and tidy as expected. Xbox and angry birds is a nice touch for a lobby kids zone.

This place is definitely worth your every coin. Event management done here is top notch and the staff not only being respectful and helpful are prompt in response. A place to visit if you need class but a little bit short of cash. Quite a great place!

We were staying there for 2 days with my husband and two children. Location is good enough. Everything was clean and tidy inside the hotel room. For breakfast there was a lot of options, including gluten free items, vegan (not only fruits & vegetables) meals, vegetable milk and so on. Especially we were surprised by the fact that we could bake waffles by our own. Very recommend for family staying!

We are very much at peace. The hotel is in a great location. Price for overnight stay topp. Buffet for 21 euros per person we have not noticed. Nevertheless, we will certainly come back.

Very good location, spacious room for 4 people, 2 adults plus 2 children. Very very comfortable beds, beautiful bathroom. A 10-minute walk from all of the city's landmarks. Expensive for breakfast, is supplemented with the Kaffe Karamell Capri Q is across the street. Simply indescribable, spectacular at all levels.

In very central in the city rooms are very comfortable clean and good designed. Receptionists are polite. I advise you to accomodate in.

Beautiful hotel, I was surprised by the high range of fine finishes it contains, its architecture is quite intuitive, making the experience more memorable, since it is not so necessary to go asking the staff where everything is, it is easy to give. The rooms are quite spacious and safe. You don't hear noises in the night.

I was a day guest of a half-board seminar (breakfast and lunch).
The breakfast was super tasty. The highlight for me were the two waffle irons with which I could make delicious breakfast waffles.
For lunch there was a Friday menu, otherwise buffet. I liked it very much.
The seminar room was well equipped and fulfilled its purpose. There was plenty of coffee and seminar drinks. The snack offer was also convincing and varied.

All very well'clean rooms a great breakfast convenience arrangement recommended we were a family with two kids all loved!

Very good location, good facilities, including kettle in the room with different teas and coffee. But should be normal at a 4 star hotel. Friendly staff, very helpful. Breakfast with €21 I find too expensive. Cannot evaluate it either.
My room was on the street and I found it a bit noisy. I had the feeling my tighter is not closed properly, but it was. That was disturbing. But I would book it again;)

Very good location, the hotel is very close to the city. There may be delays in breakfast due to fewer seating options. Getting up a little early can be worthwhile. A wallpaper was not painted in the room. Nice service, delicious food.

The hotel is very well located in Mitte, close to public transport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception hall is large and nicely arranged. Well given the space for the children, I was able to observe children who played with pleasure while the parents drank a coffee quietly. The hotel is clean and the rooms spacious.
A downside: We were given a room for handicapped which does not correspond at all to the standard Novotel. Huge bathroom with direct shower on the tile and ramps everywhere. Of the tiny room shot, without the couch. We asked for the change, which was accepted without discussion.
I will come back without hesitation.

Nice hotel restaurant and bar. Rooms are a decent size for Europe (I normally find European rooms a bit smaller than NA) clean and also friendly staff! Recommend for sight seeing etc too as you are in the core and 1/2 hour walk to lots of interesting sights etc…

If I go back to Berlin. I'm going to this Novotel. Excellent. Located a few blocks from the sites of historical interest. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Heating system on the first room was unbearably noisy. In the new room (upgrade) it was better then. WLAN failure throughout the hotel. It was just not considered necessary to communicate. 15 minutes with computer and support. He wanted to call back again and did not want to follow my request that no more to do (21:30).
Breakfast is quite expensive at 21 euros if you are on a business trip.

The location is good, the service just enough. First day clogged pure shower and washbasin.

Perfect for business travel: bed comfort is outstanding! I was doubtful the first time my company suggested this hotel for my business travel: it's a little old fashioned, the kind that they renovate but still looks unloved and generic. But when I used the bed I realized how perfect the hotel was: it was the best hotel bed I've slept in. If you're travelling for work, this is what matters the most. The rest is just decoration.

Nice hotel, lots of families with kids. There is a small nursery room, and a gym with only cardio simulators. Breakfast is varied, but if you get into rush hour you will have to stand in line. The location of the hotel is good, near the metro and the city center, with all the infrastructure.

Reception, building, room correct breakfast plentiful and varied in the sweet and salty. A flat for the restaurant because the service circulates in every way without a spare, jostles the people at the table. Some smiles of the boys would be the good come. Room side it remains silent.

We booked a room for 3 people (paid for three people) received service for two people.
Very small room away from the wall to the bed 15cm. Very uncomfortable.
I do not recommend it and I reserve to ask for a refund.

Great, like all the hotels in the Novotel chain. Friendlier staff, only flaw none of them spoke Italian. Since it is very popular with Italians I would suggest to keep to the front desk someone who can speak Italian.

Stayed at the hotel while working in Berlin. Nice hotel staff are very friendly and all speak good English. The hotel is very open plan and easy to get around. The room I was given was very nice with on suite shower room. Breakfast is very good with a wide choice if items to choose from the only problem is they have one coffee machine so you can end up waiting 10 mins to get a coffee. For a big hotel at least two coffee machines would be good. There is a large supermarket around the corner of the hotel so you can stock up on items on the cheap.

The hotel absolutely fulfilled my expectations, spacious room and in good and clean condition, an undercover parking that was accessible even with full-size car and nice pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

The location near the U Bahn station… the room was very clean n smell good… the staff were friendly… the room rate was fair… will recomend to my relatives to stay here while in Berlin…

Nice hotel although I did not really appreciate the location. Almost no good restaurants nearby. However the hotel was very nice for the price we paid and the location is good for tourists that have never been to Berlin before and want to stay close to the main tourist spots. Also, a lot of nice museums nearby.

Stayed here for 4 nights during a conference event at bcc Berlin Congress (10-15 minutes walk). The room was clean and spacious, with everything needed including a laptop safe. The room door lacked a peephole, that was my only minor concern. The restaurant was a bit pricey, and didn't offer much to choose from. Otherwise it's a good place to stay, but there's nothing special about it.

Everything was great for our trip to Berlin. Staff helped direct us to a nearby doctor when our son had an ear infection. Kids received a gift when checking in. TV could be improved with more premium channels, but we were here to sight see so didn't spend too much time in the hotel anyway.

The walls in this hotel are paper walls: you can hear everything from the neighbour room. The double-beds are small I think 1.40m or 1.50m maximum, even in the superior rooms. The worst was the wafles machine in the breakfast: they have ever cleaned it! Incredible that this hotel allows to show the guests something like this. I really ask me how it will look inside the kitchen.

Chic 4-star Hotel, with a short travel to the Alexanderplatz square. Breakfast costs 14€ and includes a Breakfast Buffet. After omelet, one must ask the question, the Service is great.

Good location clean Price/Performance at the Tiergarten personally I like better.

This hotel was great. My wife and I went on a European vacation. We read a little German, but don't speak it, so we were slightly worried about getting around. Most of the staff spoke pretty good English and gave great recommendations on where to go. We hadn't had a decent shower since we arrived in Europe, and finally did in this hotel. That was a huge plus. The hotel bar also is well stocked and very reasonably priced. The bed was comfortable, the view overlooked museum Island, and when we had to call the front desk because none of the outlets were working, they had it fixed in 5 minutes. The only issue, and this is a minor issue, is when I was trying to find more outlets to test, I noticed that under the entertainment center, there was quite a lot of dust. The rest of the room was very clean, but it looks like underneath the desk and TV doesn't get cleaned very often. The hotel is also on Museum island, so it's surrounded by 5 of the best museums and Berlin Cathedral, all well worth seeing. Not only that, but a large restaurant district is nearby and the shopping district and Tiergarden are maybe 15-20 minute walks from the hotel.

We booked this hotel for a one-night stay in Berlin. We’d expected the typically friendly Novotel service but were surprised by the newness of the building (evidently it’d been renovated) and the spaciousness of our standard room with modern bath and two chairs – too often doubles only have one chair. The floor-to-ceiling windows were nice, even if the view of the office building on the other side of the street wasn’t so special. A neat touch was the semi-hidden space to hang up our clothes, so much more practical than big closets (see photo). Wifi was fine both in the room and in the lobby and of course free (hotels seemed now to have learned not to charge for Wi-Fi). Since we’re no fans of buffets and since our very reasonable rates didn’t include breakfast, we didn’t have the chance to eat in the friendly lobby/breakfast room/bar combination area. As others have mentioned, this Novotel is centrally located not far from two of the main plazas: Potsdamer and Alexander. What we realized later was that the address, Fischerinsel, is exactly accurate: the hotel is really on an island as we can testify having walked over bridges in both directions. And without crossing any bridges you can visit northern part of the island, which appropriately enough is called Museuminsel and has UNESCO World Heritage status.

Stay ten nights for family vacation from 2 to 12 June 2014. Overall it was a nice stay, great breakfast, good restaurant (maybe a little short on menu, with two or three dinners you complete) but has a mole remarkable for a hotel like that. The beds! The rooms are laid out for two beds, this means that every extra seat is fixed in sofa beds, well. I challenge anyone to find a comfortable sofa bed for more than one night and the novotel are confirmed, after two/three nights start dolorini and generic nuisances (we were two families in two different rooms and the issues were the same for both). So everything ok except in a hotel YOU SHOULD ALSO sleep well! the judgment is good because if the stay does not exceed two/three nights deserves. But besides changing hotels.

My room was spacious enough, cool and comfortable furniture, clean, calm just perfect, and an electric kettel was placed in the room, so I could make coffee at my very mornings. I loved the idea, and also an electronic safe was good for me.
