I spent two nights in this lovely German Hotel I love the wood inside it looks like a very authentic German Hotel in amazing way. The room price was a little bit higher than what I expected but it's affordable. The Crow was extremely nice friendly and willing to help. The location is good and close to bus station and around 10 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz. The room size was good. Checking in and out is very easy and fast. They can store your luggage if you want which is good if you have a late flight or train to catch in the evening.

The hotel is somewhat old-fashioned but clean and cozy. Lived overlooking the Spree, no noise was noticed. As if there was a kitchen, but in the suburb one for 2 rooms. The dishes allowed to cook. The phone with the local sim became a nice addition.

Great location if you like to walk around the city. Close to some bars, and easy to get to the main tourist attractions of Berlin. Not much night life without riding the subway to a different area (the nearest subway is only a block away), though. Free internet is great. Except there is barely Wi-Fi range in the room so you have to be in a hallway or lobby. They give you a smart phone to borrow during your stay which can freely call local and international (back home) as well as provide GPS with its data plan. Super useful. Until it stopped working at the end of the first day for some reason. Small technology gripes aside, it's a nice hotel with comfortable rooms in a great location. And any worries you might have get banished from the mind after enjoying the two complimentary beers provided in room and a good night's sleep.

We booked business class room to stay in Berlin for our trip for 4 days. We came to Berlin for sightseeing / attending music festival. I greatly enjoyed the stay in the hotel. The room was very comfrotable, the location of the hotel is great — it's located in the City center, metro/bus are just 1-2 minutes away so you can go anywhere without any difficulties. Stuff was professional and friendly. Fransicsa helped us with sending postcards. I am really greatful for that. Breakfasts were lovely. In the restaurant on the first flour you can try out delicious Indian kitchen. Dunno what I can add more. I will surely recommend it to all who want to enjoy a comfortable stay in Berlin, and especially to my friends. Thank you Derag Living Hotel Mitte! 5+

Great hotel, quiet, beautiful, great reception.

For our 4 days in Berlin, it was remarkable! A great U-Bahn station nearby, a supermarket, and a glimpse of the River Spree! I would recommend to a colleague!

Great hotel, all amenities, everything works. Near the center of East Berlin-Alexandrplatz.

Very nice rooms and staff and in a great location if you want to see the museum insel.

The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The beds were very comfy and the room was quite spacious. Room and bathroom were clean. We appreciated the free 'minibar' including water and two bottles of beer which were replaced every day of our stay. The hotel is in a good location and there's a U-bahn stop just opposite.

The hotel is a solid four. Large and cozy rooms. Very close to the city center. The room was very clean. There is a large grocery store, with a large assortment and it is a plus)

I booked a business double room. The room was very good Impeccable cleaning. Relatively small bathroom with shower but functional. Their choice to offer two bottles of water for free and two bottle of beer was much appreciated although there were no other drinks in the fridge bar. Nice the free provision of a smartphone with Internet access for the duration of the stay. Kettle Top.
The location is really super. Metro station (line U2) at 20m. Museum Island and St. Nicholas neighbourhood in two steps.
Not brand new but really well kept property. Elegant style and serene climate.
Free Sauna and gym in the hotel across the street but we didn't use it. A number of voucher offers are present in the reception. We visited the Museum of Technology (2x1 at a total cost of 8euro) thanks to one of them.
Considering the price (€275 4nights, double room business, 16-20 March), excellent value for money.
Kitchenette present only in photos during booking.

It has spacious rooms, clean, very quiet and with all the comforts, including a kichenette with minibar. It also has family rooms.
Full buffet breakfast for every variety of choice and tastes.

Located in the central yet quiet area, a stone's throw from Nikolaiviertel, the oldest district of Berlin, which is truly a gem, and bordered by the Fischerinsel, the island of fishermen, always on the spree.
A stone's throw from the metro station but also perfect for those who want to visit Berlin Gustandosela walking and arriving in a few minutes walk to Alexander Platz, the mythical heart of Berlin.

Super nice staff even printed out our travel tickets I would rate it a five star hotel super clean and spacious room. It also is attached to an amazing Indian restaurant!

The hotel is vey well located, if you like to walk you get to most places and if you do not have the subway at the door. Kettle in the room and also coffee in reception. They leave you a mobile with data and free calls very practical especially for the maps application.

The rooms are big, breakfast is good, free water and beer are really a nice touch. And the small kitchen is brilliant. We are very satisfied.

Nice old hotel. You can also see, for example, At the faucets in the bathroom, all worn out. The toilet paper and towels are saved. Very friendly staff at reception and at breakfast. Breakfast was quite okay, nothing earth-shattering. All in all a recommended hotel.

Very pleasant hotel in a quiet place in Berlin Mitte. Everybody very pleasant and ready to help. Comfortable and very quiet rooms. Nothing more to say: I'll be back soon.

Due to a refurbishment of my Berlin apartment, I was provided with an apartment for the period of work by my housing company.
I really appreciated the ladies and a gentleman at the reception. I already had the impression that you were set on the guest. Since I had to work during my stay at the hotel in the first days of the late shift and generally a long sleeper, I was greeted at 1 pm with a friendly "Good Morning". I thought that was really great, but for me it was very early in the morning. ;-) and otherwise you could, if you want, hold a casual nice chat.
The bar in the associated hotel "Great Elector" is also very recommendable. I rarely or I never think I've drunk such great cocktails. The bartender took part in several championships and was able to convince with his cocktails. And also human is the man class, I felt very comfortable there. More visits are safe.
Only Wehrmusttropfen: I do not like the furnishings, apart from the large bathtub. You just have to like the rustic style, but that's subjective. Besides, I'm a friend of air conditioners in summer. I would probably not choose this hotel myself, however, the staff convinced me, why other, more modernly furnished hotels of the chain would certainly be in question if I once again take a trip to another city and get there a hotel This chain.

Located approximately 5 metres from the U-Bahn Märkisches Museum stop: The hotel is right across from the station exit.
Very clean and elegant, staff of rare courtesy (even offered to print the route and timetables of public transport recommended to arrive at the airport of Schoenefeld).
Large room with two bottles of beer and two of water in the fridge bar offered to guests.
Sauna and gym are free and available in the hotel opposite, belonging to the same chain.
The sauna is accessed from 4pm to 10pm.
Possibility to leave luggage in storage after check out.

Located just near Nikolaiviertel (15minutes on foot), just in front of the U-bahn station, room comfortable and clean, breakfast with a lot of choice.

Perfect location with good public transport connections to all areas of Berlin, spacious and clean rooms. Room key must always be given when leaving, so if necessary wait at reception. Upgrading to a card system would be advisable.

Hotel is OK. Mostly clean. Slightly older furnishings. Location is okay.

Quiet hotel in a very central location. Subway just outside the door.

We are in the 21st century, if you are going to keep those old keys, at least instruct the staff to remind the guest, it is not possible that every day again ask the name, I was 8 days and until the last moment I exijían. That's very unkind.

I was with my husband and son for five days in Derag Living Hotel in Berlin Mitte. I must say our experience there was excellent. Starting from the interior of the appartment which was spacious, clean an overal very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location amazing. Our overall experience with the hotel was wonderful and we are definitely going to stay in this hotel when we visit Berlin sgain and warmly recommend to everyone planning a trip to Berlin.

Very friendly staff breakfast completely adequate, however coffee machine defective in our room unfavorable position of the TV.

Very nice rooms with a high-class feel and nice service, great people. The Restaurant is amazing with some great indian food.

Classical music and a lot of quiet.

The hotel is well located and we were given quite big room since we were a family. But one room had inadequate fresh air and the room was really stuffy. Daily cleaning service was pretty poor as we stayed there for four nights, but the small soaps were not replaced until our checking out. Moreover, the breakfast service was considerably poor as one should wait for long time until a plate or a piece of bread become ready. At the same time, there was lack of primary stuff randomly, such as white cheese, tomato, cucumber, bread, egg, yoghurt and so forth. Some glasses of marmalade were surrounded by lots of flies which was really disgusting.

I stayed for 18 days on a business trip combined with some holiday in one of the apartments overlooking the Spree river. The hotel is conveniently located next to a U-Bahn station, the personnel is courteous and the room is basic but fine. The building has some old charm for those who care about it, but it is well maintained. The washer and dryer in the basement is very useful for long stays.

The rooms were spacious and clean and the free water and beer were a nice touch. The street outside was quite noisy at night, but with the windows closed you couldn't hear any of it. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The location was great and was just a across the street from the U2 metro line that will bring you into the center or to the west side of berlin. Overall I would say it is a great hotel!.

The hotel, marked as 4 * corresponds rather to a 3 * French. No air conditioning, damaged shower, broken trunk. However it is rather well placed, the staff is charming. Breakfast is good, no more.

A very nice 4 star hotel to stay in Berlin!

We are far from the comfort of a 4 * French but the value for money is very good.

Very quiet hotel in the center of Berlin. The reception is warm and friendly. The rooms are clean spacious and the hotel offers the mini bar at will every day.

Good location — easy walk to all the major tourist attractions, close to city center and all the museums. Complimentary beer was always a great thing after a full day stroll around the city. The room was surprisingly big and spacious, slightly dated, but in a nice "retro" way. Everything was very clean. I didn't have a chance to try out their breakfast/restaurant, but the room was equipped with a fridge & kettle & even a cooker! — So we didn't bother going anywhere for breakfast. Overall — a pleasant stay.

Excellent location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious and very comfortable. The u bahn is just round the corner and is easy to use. We ate breakfast here and it was very nice.

Well located hotel, but not at all matching the criteria of a 4 star hotel.

Great solution to visit the city, with Metro stop U2 Märkisches Museum just outside the hotel. Quiet area, not messed up and just two stops from Alexander Plaze, and close to the island of museums. We booked directly on the official site a double business room, spacious and very convenient. As per description each day they provide you with two waters and two Berliner Pilsner beers, and the Assigned Room (570) was well lit on the 5th floor with two windows that gave the Metro Street entrance. The reception was very professional and helpful to provide all the info to visit the city. We didn't choose the breakfast, being there a 2 minute walk to a great bakery with great prices. What to say: We will definitely return to the next visit to Berlin!

We stayed 4 nights. Appreciated the free daily availability of two bottles of water and two of beer. The first day the room was not cleaned… Given the problem, from the next day we no longer had the problem even if the cleanliness was always approximate. In the bathroom there were no soaps, but only liquid soap available in the tub… Good breakfast, not adequate for a 4 star hotel. Friendly staff. Well-functioning Internet.

The location is great: quite central and right in front of a metro station. You can find a lot of places for breakfast around, and some shops. It was great to have the portable air conditioned in the room, and get the beers and water every day. We haven't tried the breakfast or the restaurant.

Have been staying in this hotel for 2 weeks now. The experience so far has been amazing. Extremely helpful & pleasent staff, very well maintained rooms, great service, very good Wi-Fi connectivity in the room. Room is River facing room with a small kitchen (makes u feel at home). Complimentary beer & water are icing on the cake. Only improvement area is variety in breakfast. Overall a wonderful hotel & have become my preferred choice for stay if I travel to Berlin again.

Such a beautiful hotel, clean and furnished in a good taste; polite and always at your disposal staff, perfect location just only few steps from the Metro and near the centre.

I have been in this hotel during one single night. The hotel staff was really nice at supportive on describing the city and arrange all types of services (taxis, restaurants, etc). Referring to the room, it is very big, clean and contain all necessary elements to be relax. The hotel location is inside (or almost near) to the city centre. Specifically, the hotel was located near to the monuments that are interesting to see in Berlin.

The Hotel has charm, it is definitely not one of the soulless Business Hotels that all look the same. The staff was chosen to be friendly, the location is very Central, directly at the subway, but still relatively quiet. Classic Prussian, in dark wood, Gold and matching warm tones, the bathroom is in white and yellow with Meissen tiles. My bathroom even had daylight (full-length Milchglasfenster), lots of mirrors and storage space, only a shower. My two colleagues had an accessible room (without the so to have ordered this a little more spacious, but all fittings are lower than usual) and the other is the exact opposite: rather narrow, and the bath is quite high to get in and hinausklettern. Have slept all right, well, my bed could be 1, 20m or 1, 40m wide. Positive is the free Wi-Fi, although not encrypted, but with a personalized PIN (you get along with the room key) is protected. The other guests seemed to be mainly groups of well-heeled, older gentlemen. It is, however, already a little worn down, but clean. Specially in the bathroom, I would have some bad photos can shoot, if I wanted to have it. The screws, with which the shower enclosure is attached, look for the part on the inside of the shower pointed out, because the caps are no longer there. The Breakfast room comes quickly to its limits, when a busload of travel company at the same time, eats Breakfast, one day was then the Restaurant opened, so that everyone finds a place.

Nice hotel. Very clean, and 2 free beers per day is nice. The bar was good for an evening drink. Location is excellent, right next to the U-Bahn station. Unfortunately you have to pay for Wi-Fi — that's my only complaint, it should be free.

Very good location, very clean and very good hotel.

We stayed three nights here at the beginning of December and can't complain. The location is quiet with few restaurants but right beside an entrance to the underground train station so anywhere in the city is close at hand. Our room was warm, nicely furnished, cleaned daily and we never heard a peep from any of the rooms around us. We never ate the breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on the service or the variety of foods available, (16euro a head seemed a bit steep when there was a grocery store two minutes up the road as you turn left out of the hotel, ) but the staff at the recepton desk were helpful with any query we had. All in all, we would definately stay here again as it's a great base for exploring the city.

Comfortable hotel, staff very friendly and helpful, good price and detail of mini bar to consume. The rooms are fairly clean and the bathroom with bath sink and toilet, all right. Only missed air conditioning in the room.
