Worst Marriott hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff did not recognize the loyalty membership. No greeting (verbally or by a card/letter) throughout our whole four nights stay as a lifetime platinum member. The room is unclean upon our check-in. For example Hairs on the sofa and bedsheets. Dirty stain on the carpet (even have chocolate! ) and fingerprints of the glasses and faucet. Especially, super dirty kettle as attached. Housekeeping team messed up our slippers when it was been placed nicely before we left. No safe distancing practicing in the hotel and some of the staff did not wear the masks properly. On the day we checkout, we asked the front desk if they could give us one more hour late checkout but was been decisively rejected unless we are willing to pay €85. Been an elite member for almost 15 years, definitely won’t recommend this hotel.

Central location. Comfortable bedding. Suitable for business trips or with family (I’ve done both). Superb, accommodating lounge (if you get access). All staff were helpful.

Top notch room and service quality. Impeccably kept lobby, rooms are equally clean and neat and the beds very comfortable. Some rooms have showers that guests should take care exiting, since they're above the floor a good eight inches or more. The daily breakfast is outstanding even if a bit pricey at €30 — — but you'll find plenty to fit any palate. Also, it's right next to the S-Bahn station and bus stops, so it's incredibly convenient. This is my go-to place when I need to stay in town.

A great place to test Berlin. Nearby in step-by-step access and kangaroo meat and fresh German beer in the sony center. Here at the reception there are Russian-speaking guys who can tell you everything. The hotel hall is great for negotiation. A very creative place and worth your money. Next to the Hotel with The Ritz Carlton. Before the entrance is a drop with a reflection in the air — very interesting and not even guess! But now you know.

Very nice hotel with standard Marriott service. I used the mobile check-in and online chat to request and extra bed prior to our arrival, and everything was ship shape when we arrived well after midnight. The room size is standard when compared to American sized rooms (quite large), and the bathroom was well equipped with a rain-type shower head and great pressure. The executive lounge was super: enough snacks and drinks to make a meal any time of day! It also had a nice coffee machine that makes espresso, lattes, capachinos, etc. The hotel is located centrally and it is an easy walk to all major attractions.

I have just returned from a week at the Berlin Marriott. This is by far the best Marriott I have ever stayed in. It was a great location, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the amenities were excellent and it was good to have access to the Executive Lounge after a busy day sightseeing. The breakfast there was almost as good as the breakfast in the main dining room and there were snacks and hot and cold drinks, including beer and wine, available all day until midnight.

Excellent stay! We would recommend this property to anyone planning to visit Berlin. Perfectly located to walk to most major historical sites, and also well located for public transportation or taxis to get to sites a bit more distant. Excellent front desk and concierge staff, delicious and plentiful breakfast buffet and very comfortable executive lounge. Would return to this property again in a second.

It's the Marriott — the quality over quantity. No surprises wherever you travel. Well located, with excellent facilities. The staff is attentive, friendly and professional. It was pleasure to stay in Marriot as always. No surprises. I do recommend for short and long staying.

Perfect location easy to park the car, rooms are not the newest but good. One thing we noticed was that we missed more power outlets. Definitely worth the price. Good breakfast. Pool available also for kids.

Good hotel, executive lounge can be recommended. Gym is not very big but has 8 cardio machines. There is also a small pool. Everything is in the on floor — 1 without daylight. Staff is always guest oriented and seems to love their job. Rooms are nice with floor to ceiling windows and good and quiet air conditioning. Good place to stay in Berlin with good comfort.

Outstanding experience. Super friendly and attentive staff members. Came here for breakfast, arrived at 10 and stayed for couple of hours. Coffe is high quality, fresh orange juice. Order the Benedict egg, is not on the buffet table. Pretzels are great and mustard with honey is yummy.

I like to come to this Marriott hotel. The location is top notch and the staff friendly. The garage is expensive but suitable for the location.

My husband & I decided to enjoy the Hotel Life for a weekend getaway & booked a one night stay in the Master Deluxe Room at the Marriott. Very clean, spacious & comfortable room with all the necessary amenities, such as Cable TV (also showing International channels), free Wi-Fi, a safe in the room along with plenty of cupboard space. However, we did not have a key card for our room as the hotels system was being updated. So, every time we had to go back to our room we had to ask to be escorted. The room also lacked in electric sockets to plugin our chargers. Would be nice if there was at least more than one outlet available. Finally, I would say despite some little annoyances, our stay was pretty good, especially due to the excellent location as well!

A reasonable hotel with a very good ambiance in the lobby/ground floor area. The projectiles, however, are rather simple, with no special atmosphere. The service is Marriott Standart as expected. The catwalk bar serves decent drinks and cocktails. During the Berlinale the Berlin Marriott is busy.

Very good hotel in Berlin. Very friendly staff. The hotel is perfectly located and easy to reach. Parking spaces are located directly in front of the hotel. The décor and the rooms are great. The food is excellent. My recommendation for breakfast is egg benedict, delicious!

Upon arrival we went to the lobby to start the check in process. We were greeted by the guy after the counter who asked for some details and that’s were the whole experience took a serious nosedive… We were gifted our stay with this hotel from my father a who’s a platinum elite member with Marriott. This obviously comes with benefits like lounge access. Upon arrival the guy at the counter flat out refused to grant us the benefits because the actual membership holder was not… physically in the hotel. Consequently, I asked to speak to a manager to dispute this as this was never a problem in the past with other Marriott hotels. The manager came out and his whole attitude was quite rude and aggressive, giving myself and my wife the feeling that we’re unwanted and have done something illegal. After a long useless discussion with the manager we ended up purchasing breakfast in the absence of being honoured the benefits of the booked room. Room was Ok — nothing special if you ask me. The hotel should really work in hiring customer centric staff that have the social skills to welcome their guests rather than treating them like criminals.

Walking distance to most interesting places. The hotel has a nuce big lobby, night club/bar (catwalk), one if the cities best grill restaurants (dontown grill), swimming pool, sauna, gym, cigar club. The staff is friendly. Highly recommend.

I'm a lifetime Platinum Elite. 1) Asked for a room upgrade. Employee said it was already a “king” upgrade which was the same as my travel partner received without an upgrade. I had to get a manager involved to push it and was provided a suite. This shouldn’t have to happen. 2) Lack of recognition for Platinum Elite – I never, every had this happen. I stayed more than 750 nights. Christoph Flaggl, Director of Rooms Division contacts me with this resolution, which is unacceptable given I had asked for points compensation… "Please contact me on your next trip to Berlin and I will be happy to arrange your booking and welcome you in person. ” This is not acceptable.

The Marriott Hotel in Berlin is one of the most beautiful hotels in the capital city. Large rooms are not a rarity in Berlin, but in combination with the tasteful furnishings are exceptional. Breakfast is outstanding, however if not included in the rate disproportionately expensive. Not recommended in this case. Wellness area including swimming pool and sauna good, but not exceptional. In sum, however, a round thing. No real points of criticism, therefore 5 *.

Unfortunately I got a room for disabled people again, without being asked — and find this very uncomfortable.
The breakfast is rather boring and not really tasty. The carpet in the hotel could also be renewed (or better replaced).

One of the nicest hotel rooms I've had in a Marriott. Quiet, huge, bright with loads of floor to ceiling windows. Right next to all transport links. No flaws at all. Oh, maybe the aircon could be a little colder, but that is just be a personal preference.

It's not a full five for a single reason. The first night we slept we found some red speckles on the bed. Everything else is perfect, food very good and staff more than up to par.

Pros: very good location. A big room. cons: shower room's door doesn't close well. services are so-so compared to the price.

Central location within a short stroll from the Brandenburg Gate and surrounding landmarks. Also very handy for the metro to get elsewhere in Berlin. Rooms clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is expensive but lots of options elsewhere and continental breakfast in your room is much more reasonable. Lots of restaurants on nearby streets including the Sony Centre.

This hotel was right in the heart of things at Potsdammer Platz. If you have an interest in history, Brandenburg Gate and Hitler's bunker were only blocks away.

Marriott can usually be counted on for high quality accommodation. It was located about 5 minutes walk from the Potsdamer-Plaz Ubahn station. The food in the executive lounge was good. German style breakfast was served.

Ideal Location, just a few steps from Potzdamer Platz and close to Branderburger Tor. Camerabella with a view of the city. Efficient and courteous service. To return.

We carry 7-and 2-year-olds to play live here in Berlin. This area has a lot of business people. Very good location, just across from the train station and the Sony Center. There are many restaurants, food choices are many. Five minutes to walk to Berlin Mall. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Suffers from the Internet to pay for, especially in cases with two children.

A super Hotel, therefore, is absolutely incomprehensible why it is in 2016, still no free Wi-Fi in MARRIOTT's and one is not necessarily forced to this rewards program. 1 day Wi-Fi for 20 Euro is not outdated and should be urgently changed. The Marriott chain is in my opinion one of the best chains in the world.

The hotel offers classic comfort business hotel in the heart of the city. Well-equipped rooms, tight, with good sound isolation, fitness center and swimming pool. However, disappointed me a little was the management of the hotel. I have booked two rooms, and in the request indicated that for us is very important view from the window (I drove parents and nephew, first time they were in Berlin, and I wished that they could see the city from the window), so she asked to give the most upper floors and city views. In addition, on the day of arrival I CALLED them, warned late arrival and reiterated its request. In addition, I am a silver member of Marriott Rewards, and requested my membership number in the booking, but the reception on the phone said he would make it at check-in. However, when we arrived, I was told that the rooms on the upper floors with views of the city are no more! Had to call the administrator and find out why in a DOUBLE request (and in the book, and phone) on the upper floors, the rooms have not been reserved for us. He was able to find us a room at the end. And when the eviction the next day I found out that my number of Marriott Rewards member and was not included in the booking. I was also denied a late check-out (participants Marriott Rewards Silver have this right). In the end, despite the fact that the hotel in General is very good, I left an unpleasant aftertaste from management:.

Great Location. Very clean rooms of sufficient size; excellent beds/mattresses. Since I work very often here, I can also consistently good Service to confirm. Only the shower curtains in the bathrooms in a Hotel of this category is not up to date. Here you should urgently be improved.

This is a terrific hotel, at least four if not five star quality. The location is quite good: half a block from the subway, and within walking distance to the Reichstag and Unter den Linden. The hotel is attractive, inside and out, and very spacious. The help is very helpful. I paid around 80 euros a night (through Priceline) and that's an amazing deal. One small complaint, though: to check your email you need to buy access to the "business center, " which as I recall starts at around $10. In my five-star world, there's a free printer and Wi-Fi.

Stayed here four nights on a recent tour of Germany. Due to diamond status, we received the very best of service this hotel has to offer. Our stay was extremely enjoyable, our room was perfectly clean, and the executive lounge was well stocked despite businessmen and women constantly entering and exiting. Will definitely consider if I find myself in berlin once again.

Just a little slow internet, not the best AC, to few English TV channels and the gym is a bit small keeps this hotel from getting 5 stars. Everything else is spot on.

At this hotel, there are actually expose nothing. The location is central but quiet (also thanks to the soundproof Windows). The operation and the staff were very friendly and helpful — breakfast was awesome. Only downer was the water temperature in the health club — a few degrees more would have done well.
