Great location, low level hotel with limited cost.

Small but clean rooms. Helpful reception.

Very good location, especially if you want to go to the Charité. The room was probably eingerichteg in the 80s and has not changed since then. The carpet was spotty and holes, the linens broken and filthy (where it was washed). The whole room smelled of cigarette smoke. For the performance slightly overpriced.

The room was very simple but very clean. I liked the breakfast, and it is also well located.

Very good location. Subway Oranienburger Gate right outside the door; Up to the Alexanderplatz about 15 minutes walk, very friendly staff, breakfast for 6, — € Amount and quality good for this price, room was always clean — negative: Room 31 must be refurbished absolutely. Windows is no longer really tight, bed has come in the years, bathroom is in need of renovation.
Conclusion: If you are looking for a cheap overnight stay then it is enough.

A good hotel, in a really good area of Berlin. The room are good and the service they are really helpful and friendly.

The location of the hotel is almost perfect.
Unfortunately, all this was positive to report.
TV did not go, reperatural traffic jam at all ends (stairs, carpets, wallpaper, skirting boards, bathroom fittings, lamps etc. ) In the hallway in front of the room it always smelled (! ) of fryer.
The room was just big enough for your double bed.
I can accept all of this in the light of the price.
The lack of hygiene and cleanliness, however, is not.
Mold in the bathroom, dirty shower, hair from the previous resident, tied-dried popel on the room wall next to the bed at eye level … (WTF? ).
No wonder you're not asked about the satisfaction when checking out.
The staff were friendly throughout.

The best thing about the hotel is its central location. The surrounding area is perfect for tourists who want to explore Berlin on foot. Around the hotel there are many restaurants, cafes etc. There are deductions nonetheless: The hotel is outdated, no elevator and in proportion to expensive. We paid for two nights, a room with two double beds €320. I would also have breakfast right outside the door at the cafe. At Hotel Kostet, breakfast per person is €25th. But the staff was very friendly, and that has to be mentioned.

1 star for the excellent location and 1 star for breakfast, which was really handsome and fine for its 6 euros. Otherwise, I was glad to have travelled in the dark. The bad air and socks of the predecessor in the room were the first impressions. Followed by my bed (3-bed room) at the no longer quite hanging, completely dirty gardine, surrounded by dirty walls and loose wallpaper. If you can get over this bad condition and just need an overnight stay in a good location, you can try it.

The hotel is a bit old, BUT: We wouldn't have expected luxury for the price either. Our room was clean, the bathroom tiny and cramped but clean. The reception was very nice and helpful (parking tips, printouts, 2nd keys …) and we felt comfortable.

The hotel is fine if you're on a budget. The location is also ok. It's located right next to the Orianienburger Tor U-bahn stop. We were four people staying together, but only got one key. A strange problem is that if you lock the door from the outside, you can't open it from the inside. Some things could certainly be better, but you get what you pay for. Would stay there again.

Located conveniently in the city center. A lot of bars and restaurants around it. There's a nice coffee place right in front of it where you can enjoy tasty breakfast.

Good location, but very basic rooms and poor conditions. The place looks like it's falling apart, and I got the impression that the owners are not willing to do anything about it. The bathrooms are dirty, so are the walls. Heck, even the corridor carpets are stained and haven't been washed for at least 20 years. Definitely not a place I'd recommend.

Very nice place, the rooms are clean and pleasant. I would love staying here again. Thank you to all the staff for good service.

This Hotel deserves not even a star! Our arrival was handled by a nice lady in Jogging pants and a sweater. When we received our room key and the explanation for the use of the shower, so we are in the third floor. The stairs Alone are not promised much of comfort, but we hoped to be able to at least sleep room can find. In the space between the 2. OG and 3. OG was a large sheet. We didn't even want to know what was under this. Arrived in the room we would be turned over to the loved one. Filthy walls, rusty shower, dirty bed sheets, the three long black hairs on the beds, we do not want to talk at all. Our toilet over the hallway was also more of a store room, in which one has a toilet. Thank God we have found for our two Nights, there are two other Hotels which had a room free. So we have to get the stuff Packed up our 24€ for the Breakfast and just get out! Gruesome Dump.

We have found for a 3-day city trip (June 2014) in this Hotel on the Internet. We had thought that 3 stars for 180 € in a 3-bed-room you can't go wrong. For 7 €/Person and day we booked the Breakfast. The reviews by mid-2013 looked good and in the name of the hotel we expected a small, neat, family-run Hotel. Upon our arrival, the Surprise: Everything looked run down, the entrance, the "front Desk" (a niche in the staircase), ugly Plastikrasendekos in the stairwell, a filthy and smelly backyard Bode nothing Good. The rooms looked on the first glance okay. On the first glance! On the 2. We had to find that it was anything other than clean. In the room there was dust in corners, behind the mini-bar (the locking and non-function was, and far enough from the wall stand) was still a country of purchase-a receipt from the front yard tree branches, a brass rail on the floor hidden which was apparently a torn carpet, the bedside table, on the wall to the bathroom, piece of bloated wood (water damage? ), The table in the room seems to come from the bulky waste, on the Föhnhalterung in the bathroom festgepeckter dust, the Toilet bowl is way tipped to the side, the shower wall was only with luck is close, everywhere in the bathroom, dirty corners, the shower wall and silicone joints verpeckt, in short, since longer not more thoroughly clean!

The selling point is the location, very central and well served by public transport. The service for the price is very good, overall average.

Super comfortable, delicious Breakfast from there one comes fast everywhere. I am looking forward to the next visit in October.

Hotel of horrors. Zero cleaning, sheets with fuzz, a hole of room and the second floor without elevator! But the worst came when shower. Very close but really dreadful.

So I was a good two weeks since and I'm really have been horrified how much the Internet and reality diverge. Have phone posted until now everything was ok on arrival went to the Trouble of los Parking? nope, no, the landlord doesn't want more, in the whole district only Parking for residents, after a good 45 Minute discussion and a call to the owner was willing to open the gate to finally Park. Already at check-in measures to pay, what I would actually be suspicious should leave but after 6 hours drive, they had the irgentwie displaced. With the handover of the keys was then followed by a schauderhaftes weekend, everything what is on the Internet page of the "Hotels" was to see was probably processed in Photoshop or many years old. We had a double room booked and got an attic room on the Fourth floor, without a proper window. Small Tip on the edge who freezes should not dwell heating is on the wall but has no function. The bathroom had no window and when you take a shower or to the toilet had walked only a ceiling fan in the sooo loud was like the ventilation on level four in the car. Service and cleanliness are just as alien as Wi-Fi and Waserflaschen in the room, Dirt and dust everywhere The Breakfast room is now a Snack the to open at Night, so Lärmempfindlich you should not be, instead, is the current space in a back room on a floor.

Small cozy Hotel with a great Breakfast and in 1A location. You can all the attractions in the City easily on foot.

The Bed and Breakfast is located very close (just across the street) to Oranienburger Tor underground station and less than a 2 minute walk from Friedrichstraße so central anymore so I don't think you can get to this room. The rooms are spotless and if you take a room with private bathroom you will find comfortable and spacious.
My girlfriend and I have had some problems with the Wi-Fi in the room the first few days but then the problem was quickly rectified.
Under the structure there is a Lebanese restaurant and a Kebab restaurant always full of people for its excellent food.
Highly recommended.

I stayed here for a week in July 2009 and could not have chosen a better location. Down Friedrichstrasse to Mitte and U. Den Linden, Tiergarten or down Oranienburgerstr. To Hackescher Markt, Alexander Pl. Close to new Hauptbahnhof and right next to S/U-Bahn and trams. Room was quiet and comfortable and the staff here were very friendly and helpful with information, etc. I would definitely stay at Hotel Markischer Hof again. The surrounding area is perhaps the most attractive inner Berlin suburb with many places of interest such as art galleries, numerous cafes and restaurants, Monbijou Park, Neue Synagoge, Museuminsel, Deutsches Theatre.
