Quiet hotel (as the name suggests) in the centre of Berlin Mitte. Clean and well-soundproofed rooms. A relatively expensive breakfast (13 euros per person).

We had a very nice stay and a very nice welcoming. Quality price is at the rendezvous. I’m recommending that hotel to anyone’s they are looking for it.

Small cute modern hotel with all the typical german amenities close to the train station and In the perfect location for exploring the finest parts of Berlin and its history.

Nice, clean hotel in a fairly residential section of town with lots of good cafes and restaurants. Stayed 4 nights with my family. 2 things prevented a 5 star rating. — Exorbitantly priced breakfast with mediocre food. ~$60 for a family of 4. — Rude staff. Front reception clerk would frequently disappear in the evenings to smoke and drink with her friends in the courtyard. She was annoyed if anybody needed help.

Great hotel, good service.

Check in was exceptional. They were also gracious enough to hold our bags until our train departed so we were able to enjoy several more hours of the city. Close to many good restraunts. It can be difficult to find parking nearby if you have a car.

A super great hotel. It is located in a small side alley and therefore in a quiet location. The staff is top and small extra wishes such as an extra pillow are met immediately. On the next visit to Berlin, the hotel will definitely be shortlisted.

Oh so sweet, great location with new furniture in the outdoor area. The room as desired. Totally friendly and courteous staff. And the eggs for Breakfast with a face. I love this Hotel and will never check-in more in Berlin somewhere else :D.

Very nice, central and above all clean hotel. We had a medium-sized room which was very quiet.
Unfortunately, there was no fridge in the room.
Breakfast for €13/person is a bit overpriced.
There is a few meters next to it a great bakery and, above all, inexpensive!
Wlan is free and parking has to be paid for — where there is no fixed space but you have to look for a few minutes.

Clean, economical and central Hotel.

Nobody was picking up the phone, so I could not get into the hotel at 22:00. Definitely a no-go!

I'll be there the second time. The location is always a delight. Quiet, located in the courtyard. Central, as only 3 min. From the subway station. Unfortunately no hotel parking spaces. Great breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Great value for money.

I've come here for the umpteenth time. Friendly staff, clean and very spacious rooms to one — I think — fair price. Especially in the courtyard pleasantly quiet.

Great location, friendly welcoming staff, free to sit in cozy lounge while enjoying complimentary coffee from 12-7, good Wi-Fi, comfortable bed in a rather small room. Enjoyed the hot shower! Nice touch with the fruits at the desk. Could use desk space, chair, and more electric or USB outlets in the room.

Too expensive for the money! I paid EUR 172 for the first night; I guess it was a fair. And it's really hard to catch one if you still bay additional options or drink for 7, 90 EUR Cheap red wine from the 0, 25l bottle in the room.
The beds are cheap, the furnishings are too, everything is cheap and therefore poor quality — only the overnight rates are not.
In winter it is not missing, only every MotelOne has air conditioning; Not here.
You should not travel by car, because there are practically no parking spaces. Clean it up on mold in the corners of the shower and impersonal. The "You" at the reception does not help either.
I will not stay here again and would not recommend the hotel to anyone.
After all, the rooms are quiet by the Hoflage.
If you book a larger room, you have double doors, so that noise from the hallway will hardly disturb you.
Breakfast is overpriced for 12, 50 EUR. The buns are sticky, the coffee didn't taste good. In the vicinity there are plenty of possibilities to have breakfast in the morning.

Good location, good rooms good price.

Room is tiny (hardly have space to open a large suitcase and still have footpath), and the Wi-Fi is absolutely useless. I was better off using 3G LTE through my cellular plan. Clean and quiet. Free coffee that's quite good and tea from 7a-7p.

Nice and clean rooms with every comfort… friendly and helpful staff. Excellent area (Mitte), very close to the U Bahn stop "Orianenburger".

The room was HUGE compared to other hotel rooms we've stayed in on our trip through Europe (rome, florence, venice, paris). Room was modern. And clean, staff helpful. Breakfast seems overpriced so we didn't try. It. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is nice and clean, nice facilities. Bed is a bit hard though, would benefit from a topper. No AC, but they provide a fan which helps. No fridge in the room, and no ice bucket so if you want drinks in your room you can't really keep it cool anywhere. But, still a great hotel especially for the price. You can rent bikes from them, and the location in Mitte is great, quite neighborhood with some restaurants, pharmacy, and bakery right down the street. Street cars and ubahn nearby.

But then the next day the room change, even the suitcases were brought to us in the new room. Super Service and very nice staff. Look forward to next year.

The rooms are snug, but super cute, very clean, modern design. The staff is so friendly. Thank you Cindy for being so sweet and accommodating my reservation last minute. I highly recommend this place, it's very central close to a lot of cool bars and restaurants in Mitte.

Calma Berlin was a nice place to stay if you don't require a lot of things. The rooms are small but the hotel overall is cute. It was a cheap one night stay so it worked out well. It would have been convenient to have breakfast at the hotel but it was overpriced so it wasn't worth it. You can reach public transportation very easily and the main attractions weren't far.

Calma is highly recommended for young and hip people! Rooms are not too big but really clean and comfortable beds! The staff is great and helpful The location is also good, shops and nice restaurants located near the hotel. You can feel Mitte's great vibes around you! Thank you for the stay! I was already several times in the Calma guest. Location Nice staff — remains top, quiet, clean, no wishes open.

Modern furnished hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are fine. Do not have a proper Cabinet to to take off clothes in the basic room. But for a short trip very much recommended.

Location and the price balance is good. Room and bed is small.

Very good hotel in a nice location. Here you will be at the heart of Berlin, with a lot of art galleries and restaurants near. The personnel is friendly and the breakfast is great, everything you need for a nice lovely stay at the city.

Great little hotel while on a city break, would certainly stay again when returning to Berlin. Close proximity to trams and underground and plenty of restaurants and cafes close by.

The Hotel is great! We had one of the larger rooms and were totally thrilled. Price/performance class. The Breakfast, everything what the heart desires us very lovingly decorated. The staff is also very friendly and before coming. I would the Hotel at any time further-recommend and I was certainly not the last Time there.

Um óptimo hotel. Pessoal simpático e prestativo e muito perto de restaurantes e transportes, muito limpo e confortável. O quarto não é grande mas chega perfeitamente. Durante os 5 dias não ouvimos qualquer barulho. O pequeno-almoço tem muita variedade e estão sempre a repor. Um pouco dificil de localizar. E para quem chegue a Berlim durante a noite pode ser um pouco complicado, pois a recepção fecha às 24h. Recomendo e se um dia voltar Berlim ficarei lá novamente.

Again and again, CALMA Linienstrasse is my preferred hotel in Berlin Mitte. absolutely friendly staff and wonderful rooms in different classes. I prefer Lifestyle category! Now Wi-Fi is for free also in the rooms and its fast enough for streaming :-) January 2015 wonderful and so friendly. I like the design of the room and the cleanliness and all these very friendly boys and girls from the hotel as well, one more reason for me to stay at CALMA. go on that way.

Hotel well located very close to the center on foot, very quiet at the bottom of its courtyard, neat, welcoming and comfortable. Very good value for money.

Excellent location, very quiet street. From SXF Airport just take RE7 or RB14 down to Friedrichstraße station and then walk 10 minutes from there. Quick and easy checkin procedure, free Wi-Fi also in the rooms, clean rooms (mine had the basin inside the room and a private WC/Shower). I didn't see the air conditioning, so I reckon that in some hot days it could be uncomfortable. I was there in January, and the room was very warm. For the price I paid (61€ without breakfast) the trade-off was excellent. Breakfast costs around 12€, but there is a cafè just besides the hotel and so many others in Oranienburgerstrasse and Friedrichstraße. I will definitely check out this hotel the next time I go to Berlin. Ah, very important plus: Dada Falafel, probably the best Falafel place in Berlin, is just 50 meters away!

It was a very clean and comfortable hotel.
Close to the shops and the metro and easy to reach.
The staff are very friendly and always willing to help.

Fantastic location (the area is perfect with cafés, restaurants and bars PLUS easy access to the U-bahn and S-bahn). The hotel is fresh and SO clean. Fantastic service and every morning the boiled eggs have little faces painted on them — it has inspired me to do the same at home, as a fun way to start my mornings :).

Nice, small and clean hotel. Spacious and very clear rooms. Friendly service and decent location. The internet nor works as expected or is neither complimentary which could be an issue for a business traveler.

We spent five nights at the Calma in Berlin and really enjoyed it. Has a minimal feel e. G. No pictures on the walls and no telephones in the rooms. However, it was very clean, had comfortable firm beds, and it is in a great neighbourhood. Front desk staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was great. Charming breakfast room with nice touches like flowers on the tables and good quality food. Even had gluten free cereal for those inclined. Will definitely stay here again when next in Berlin.
