Would be 4 stars but the shower and Sink both do not drain properly other than that this is a great hotel with a good breakfast the rooms are clean and nice and the Wi-Fi is better than average would get 4 if the drains worked but this could be a room specific thing.

Cannot fault the hotel, the staff were fantastic and always happy to help. The room was fantastic, nice and spacious and clean and the breakfast Buffett was delicious and so much of it that I had no need to buy lunch when I was out exploring during the day.

Cozy boutique-like hotel in the middle of Berlin’s old-town is a great fit for even a budget travelers. It is super clean, it features great location, and it offers fantastic traditional german breakfast in an elegant dining room. Staff speaks several languages, including Russian. Highly recommended whenever you stay in Berlin! (Stayed in a single, one bed room)

Nice hotel close to the centre and many sights. Small but clean room but noicy due to poor sound insulation to the outside (my room was to the street)

We stayed in January. The environment is modern and comfortable. You night that was recently renovated. The staff is a bit cold but polite and polite. At the request of Unbalance also to give some advice on the city.
The environment is clean and cared for in detail. The room size is average. The bathroom was particularly large.
The breakfast is rich and plentiful but only salty. No dessert. For us Italians could be a problem. A day or two I know resists, at the fourth you feel the need for dessert at breakfast, especially in the midst of all that salty.
Strategic location, walking distance to Metro, although we walked around the city almost totally walking. It is about half an hour from the airport, I recommend the taxi.
In the returns, we talk about a few tens of meters, there are 2-3 restaurants and pubs, you do not starve despite the structure does not have the restaurant. For the sweet breakfast instead… oh well, we're in Germany.
I would go back I would visit the city from another point of view, maybe staying on the other side. But if I go back to that area, I'd be back there.

Breakfast not particularly, breakfast room too cramped and too little seating, room so small that you can barely move. No hotel which you should book often.

From here you can reach all important highlights, within walking distance. U. — — S. — Train are just around the corner.

Great location, great breakfast, clean & comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Thin walls, bus is exactly what you need as a tourist in Berlin and super well priced.

The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. The rich breakfast is also exemplary, which can be booked at super favorable conditions. I recommend to book directly at the hotel as you can save so often something to relevant websites!

The location is really good for tourists to see and get to now all the sights. Reception is 24/7 and the breakfast is pretty good too! Rooms seemed clean but are quite small.

Hotel staff were very welcoming and it was in a great location. Breakfast was okay, except there wasn't much choice for vegetarians/vegans. Beds were comfy but blanket wasn't very thick. The shower was lovely though. Overall a great hotel.

The location is 5 star! Right outside is a metro station a underground 2minute walk to the right and a s bahn 30 seconds to the left, breakfast os okay, not to great for vegetarians (partner) beds are comfy, good nights sleep & very helpful staff, thin walls but all in all for cost & location alone well well worth it.

I was in love with this B&B… but in reality it is a warm hotel for its people and attention.

Nice hotel, convenient to the metro and the center. Breakfast was good Clean rooms, not huge, but more than enough. Clean and spacious Staff very friendly.

I sleep is just there. Price / performance / breakfast / beds / facilities /… everything's great.

-traveling on business, to save not the 5% City/tourist tax – it spreads in the Pocket hotel
-Bathroom is in itself beautifully renovated, with ground-level shower
-Fittings are however cheap and clearly scuffed
-Exhaust air in the bathroom does not work
-Breakfast: Quantity price (€80 4) okay, quality poor (scrambled eggs dry, egg total boils over, rolls the day before)
-TV is very small and TV has signal sound skips regularly
-Elevator makes worrying, creaking noises
-Wi-Fi does not work on Apple devices (several times tested with MacBook, iPhone, iPad)

It's clear, comfortable, well located… but one simple thing disqualify this hotel completely — they left one bottle of water in the room and if you want to use it be prepare to be charged! I travel a lot, visit different places — even very modest & very simple offer bottle of water for free! Hotel 38 — NOT!

Pleasant atmosphere, clean rooms. Breakfast could/I could no longer, even though everything was set up, and guests sitting at the tables. But I was too late. Because I would have for the (otherwise reasonable) price expected more.

An excellent Hotel for a small price, which I need for my business trips like to Stop doing. Very individual rooms (the weirdest, but also the cheapest, together in the bathroom with the Bedroom, so that you are on a tiled pedestal directly behind the shower sleeps. ). The other rooms, I had so far are conventional, all of which are modern and well maintained. The Hotel is very centrally located, very nice staff, a nice Breakfast. Special requests, such as for example soy milk, has been met — I had the same with the reservation mentioned above and on the first day of the stay was extra for me, a Liter of worried. The district is a Amüsierviertel with many Restaurants.

Simple but really good Hotel in a very Central location and a really good price/performance ratio! Plenty of Restaurants and Bars in walking distance, S-Bahn and Tram right outside the door.

Funny. — Class Rooms. Sociable Breakfast.

Stayed there 22nd to 24th of July 2011. Small and owner operated. Payed 99 euro per night for a very nice, newly renovated room (just don't expect big rooms). Very friendly staff and a very good breakfast buffet (traditional German style with lots of cold cuts) included. Hotel was clean and in a modern style. Booked the room via e-mail on their website. No deposit or cancellation fees required. Not a luxury hotel, but very recommendable and good value. Our room faced the courtyard, so it was quiet at night. I imagine the rooms facing the street would be quite noisy. Placed in the middle of the city in ideal tourist location. The street itself (Oranienburger Strasse) is partly a tourist trap, but the neighborhood in general is very interesting. 15 minute walk from Museums Insel.

Great location — Extra breakfast — Metro nearby — historic centre on foot… super lively area in the evening; But Hotel soundproof: no problem of noise. Nice staff All positive… (And the "Tächeless" is in front of two steps! ) What better way to go!
