I stayed here on my first trip to Paris. Beautiful hotel! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful (especially the bartender). Very convenient location. Merci for everything!

A fairly nice hotel. Their computer room sucks so don’t try to print your boarding passes have the staff at the desk do it. Good metro stop. Excellent breakfast and lunch places. Staff is friendly. Rooms clean and quiet. The French can’t make a decent Martini. As you can see I asked for dry, shaken with olives and got a vermouth soaked lemon!

Stayed for 3 nights here, lively hotel with best location. Nice staff. Missing points are recreational activities. Hotel do. Not have much options for leaisure guest. Good view of the rooms. Very close to metro and Opera.

Classic style hotel with top comfort. Perfect location. Very efficient Concierge service. Meeting spaces are suitable for small and large groups. I highly recommend.

Very small rooms for their money. The bathroom is combined and has extremely small dimensions. There is a small kitchen on the ground floor. Convenient location of the hotel.

I only experienced the tea room: excellent comfort and service, but persistence, all afternoon, in all the space, of a smell of artificial deodorizer unpleasant and incompatible with the tasting. The staff, questioned by my attendant, does not feel anything, explains nothing…
Next time I check if the situation is unchanged and I am looking for an alternative place…

Old, run-down, shabby. This is not a 4 star hotel. Carpet in the halls is badly worn and torn. Walls are battered. Upholstery in the restaurant is dirty and torn. Lobby area smelled of raw sewage. Hotel restaurant was closed for three consecutive nights for dinner forcing us to eat elsewhere when weather outside was unpleasant.

I often go to this hotel as part of my work. The location is just perfect and the rooms I have had are small but very cosy. Several times the staff arranged me for my luggage and it is very appreciable!

Great Location in the heart of Paris, Good breakfast that fit most tastes. But the rooms are not the best for the overall price and bathroom was quite old and showing a lot of wear.

Simply excellent and I especially recommend the filet of bar with oyster sauce… a treat. Very good location, very good value for money.

I am really disappointed! We arrived at 4:30 in the morning and after a long approach we just wanted to eat and sleep. So we ordered lasagne and ceasers salad by room service. It was awful. But the worse about our night was in the morning, at 8.30 they started popping doors and talking very loud so we couldn’t sleep anymore. I don’t know when the room got cleaned the last time because of dust everywhere and dirty towels in the bathroom as well. For a four stars hotel it’s unreasonable! Sorry but we can’t recommend this hotel.

Stayed there for 2 nights. The building is something you wanna take photos of but the interior definitely needs more work. The location is great, metro stops just out the door. Friendly stuff, they willingly provided brochures and tips for Paris. 2/5 stars because of this dirty carpet on the floor that makes you feel you are in an old ship and the interior which definitely lacks the glamour of a 4 star hotel.

Nice hotel in the centre of Paris with a welcoming loft where you can have a coffee or have a drink in a relaxed place without necessarily staying at the hotel. I have not tried it elsewhere.

I went there for a seminar… place to avoid. Working rooms of another time… small tables not functional… Velvet armchair go from fashion. Restaurant side… pretty poor quality… We waited for bread for 20 minutes… no originality in the dishes… Industrial desserts. Given the situation place of the Republic in the heart of Paris… it's really disappointing. No opinion on the room side we did not sleep there.

It's a great hotel! The view from the window is super! Metro is nearby, professional staff! The only negative-no gowns and slippers in the room (just in other hotels this chain always is). Breakfast is varied, enough! Our weekend was wonderful, however, as always with Crown Plaza.

A very nice hotel in the center of Paris very well located but still quite expensive so it has not been renovated for a long time.
We are not very fond of Airbnb and prefer instead to go to hotels but it must be admitted that this time we were pleased by choosing this establishment a little bit high-end but which does not necessarily deserve the price: the room of Bath was a little dated, the toilets were starting to date and even if there were four in the room there were only two cups to have tea…
A bit of a pity even if our stay went well and the central position allowed us to radiate in all Paris!

Good quality hotel with comfortable bedding, the bathrooms deserve to be redone. Avoid taking a room on the street, they are quite noisy. Very good location in the heart of Paris.

Stunning hotel beautiful room. We stayed as part of our honeymoon so we used the hotel as a base. Friendly helpful staff great breakfast and really comfy beds. Would love to return.

Very good location.

Noisier than a nightclub with hard surfaces. Had to check out urgently. The receptionist offered to move me rooms, but it was pointless at 3am. In fairness, the noise was coming from outside the hotel so not much they can do to influence noisy locals hanging out by the square. Ask for a quiet room or avoid!

Good location The higher price is absolutely justified as everything is reachable on foot and by Metro.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can see them on HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Huge palace with below average utilities. The staff was GREAT but due to lack of utilities they were not able to provide proper service. The hotel was not worth the money paid. 1. We tried reservation 15 times for 15 days but still were given far away rooms when we reached. 2. They changed rooms but we were given stinking rooms. And we tried to check-in other rooms but it didn't work coz those were stinking too. 3. Hotel has only 4 small elevators in the centre of the building, so have to walk a lot for other rooms. But again, all the staff were amazing and provided hands on services.

Not a bad hotel! Within 10 minutes of walking from North and East Stations. Overall not bad, but there is little lighting in the room.

Freezing room. The heating wasn't working. At checkout, we have been offered car to go to the airport, we have been instructed to at the same price as the taxi. It is not so offer it to 42 euros and the taxi are 35 to Orly fixed price. We won't be back.

The food (Salmon and chicken) was superb. Cooked to perfection. Wait staff very attentive. It's the kind of meal you can expect in the USA, with a French flair. The cost was moderate compared to paris standards. As you can tell, the wife & I enjoyed it very much. Taste, cost, & waiter, 5☆ I'm a happy camper.

Beautiful hotel in a great part of Paris close to the Metro and Republic square (which has so many community activities happening all the time). Service was excellent. Loved their breakfast restaurant especially the espresso machine.

Food good, meeting rooms good. Great location. Bedrooms a bit dated and can get hot. Rooms on the front are very loud due to traffic.

Stayed here the 1st week of June. Great customer service, clean room. Decent size for Paris. Very helpful since we didn't have luggage for 2 days.

The Palace of the Republic Square! A 4-star luxury to be precise. Great modern bar. Modern Restaurant class. A very contenporain hotel. Ultra-connected. On one of the mythical squares of Paris.

Great location right in Place de la Republique so in front of a metro stop, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms but the facility looks a bit old as well as the bathrooms.
I did not like the fact that in a room for 4 people there is only one bottle of shampoo and one of shower gel, for a 4 star I seem a little pulled…

I loved this hotel. The family room is spacious and comfortable, great value for a family of 4 with 2 small kids. The breakfast buffet was tasty and varied, a good start to a busy day of sightseeing. The location is excellent, with buses and a metro station right on the doorstep and plenty of shops and restaurants on the place de la république and surrounding roads. All in all, a great find and a better alternative to the overpriced hotels in the 8th arrondissement.

Our 'home in Paris' February 2015 for 3 nights of our 'Taste of France'! A great place to stay for my three friends, newbies to France❗️

We stayed here for 3 days at the end of our trip in June 2013… staff generally nice and helpful… rooms nice and clean… good breakfasy buffet… one night we ate dinner at restaurant without a reservation… staff and food was fabulous… only problem. We asked for a wake up call for the morning we were leaving and didn't get it… put us way behind and we almost missed our ride to the airport… desk clerk could have cared less… not an apology… more like a dismissal… "oh well. You are leaving anyway. Who cares"… they gave us a bagged breakfast which we couldn't take into the airport so we gave it to the van driver.

Big hotel with a great location. Good continental breakfast. No private parking, and public parking nearby is not suitable for cars bigger than a mid-size.

We were there in 2008, everything was perfect.

Hotel Crowne Plaza Republique is located conveniently directly next to a metro station, tourist bus (l ' open tours) be reached quickly on foot, the service and the customer experience were good, breakfast excellent. Particularly worth mentioning are the comfortable mattresses on the beds. The toilet and the bathroom were separately in our room. The road noise is almost not to hear the air conditioning worked very well with the Windows closed.
