Hotels in Aquitaine with a Pool

If you are looking for a hidden Gem in the La Chatre area then you have found it.
This is the second time that we stayed at Domaine de L'orangerie and both times we're beyond expectation.

A wonderful find. The hotel rooms are a little dated but the staff deserve 5 stars.

I would like to thank a lot the staff.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in July using as a base to explore the Pyrenees on our motorbike. Perfect location for this and also to go to the coast.

Location is perfect, 15 min walk into the city center. Room was clean and the swimming pool was great.

Great location 10 minute walk from the port (if you can forgive the neighbouring rail crossing & redevelopment works — only noticeable if you are outside/ by the pool)
If you don’t like children

This hotel offers access to a marine spa as part of your stay. The hotel is very well managed. The staff are friendly and helpful, and plenty of them.

Great hotel, great spot. Breakfast a bit chaotic and spa reception quite rude.

Fabulous hotel, very friendly staff and they speak excellent English.
We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights as it was the venue for our son's wedding. Everything was just perfect.

The location of this establishment is very quiet and not far away from the bustling beach area.

Last minute booking, went full board. Room was old style but very clean. Food was really really good. Not huge choices, but fresh and well prepared.

The teams are very attentive, the animation team is great. The servers are top. We will be back.

Lovely comfortable hotel with exquisite evening dining in courtyard setting. Generous breakfast and overall good value for money. Helpful bi-lingual staff.

We have just finished 3 nights stay here on our road trip from St Marlo to Bilbao. A wonderful hotel, our room was lovely and had a bath, shower and outdoor space.

Fabulous find in Sarlat. Owners care about their guests, they’ve owned for three years. Beautiful swimming pool, hotel set above Sarlat, so peaceful! Short ten to fifteen minute walk to town centre.

We enjoyed staying at the Maison des Peyrat for 3 nights.
This was a nice place to stay and enjoy the countryside.
Instead of the city vibe in Sarlat-la-Caneda.

The room we were given was a suite, we had a living area with balcony and an extra bedroom.

Our stay at this hotel was a great experience. Rooms were spacious and modern with air conditioning. Breakfast was great and the location to the town centre was just 100 mtrs away.

In summary: lovely setting of the hotel with the lodges. Service and food are good. Massages not to be missed. There are some safety issues.

A dog-friendly Relais & Châteaux nestled beside a tranquil lake, this retreat is as peaceful as it is picturesque.

Very warm welcome by the owners, particularly the charming Florette.
Hearty breakfast.
Very quiet and well located hotel with a nice swimming pool.

The hotel is well placed for short walks next to the lake. Hanging the click clack gave me a back pain because there was an iron bar in the middle which was killing my back.

We had a great one-night stay at the Domaine de Rochebois. Our room was lovely with garden seating outside, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The entire property is gorgeous.

We had a fantastic stay at Domaine de Rochebois. The setting is absolutely beautiful, quiet, green, and peaceful.

Small residence, close to Cotinière, quiet and surrounded by nature.

Located away from the road, surrounded by vineyards. Very clean, well-equipped cottage, comfortable 160 bed, bathroom with walk-in shower. Intimate private terrace.

Probably one of the most difficult things about traveling, especially internationally is my American Love of really thick comfortable mattresses.

Such an oasis of calm. Great staff make this beautiful hotel such a fantastic stay. Rooms are large, very well equipped. We had a garden room.

We found this place online, we absolutely do not regret this choice.

We were made very welcome despite our delay due to traffic. The host received us with a smile and was kind enough to wait for us and serve us the homemade dinner which was delicious.

First of all, I can honestly say that this has been one of the warmest, most enjoyable, and most memorable holidays we have had in recent years.

I had such a wonderful experience at Vandenbeld Wines. The location itself is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, scenic and the perfect setting to enjoy exceptional wine.

Great place to stay. Very neat location and Hotel. The Rooms are great. The owner Is very kind and the property is in really good shape. Thumbs up!

We enjoyed a tranquil stay in an eco-friendly estate set amid picturesque fields.

In June 2023, my adult son, a buddy of his and I bicycled to Les Demeures de Valette after riding 103 miles from Tours.

We always receive a very warm welcome at this very beautiful chateau. We have been coming to this hotel frequently over the last two years on our way to and from Saint-Malo.

Our short stay was dreamy! A quiet, calm, charming place that looks like a fairytale. Our hosts have been amazing, friendly and kind from booking until departure.

Chateau d‘Estrac is a wonderful little chateau in the backlands of pay basque, 40 minutes from biarritz.

For a number of years we have passed the Island and never stopped, this year with travelling for a month we decided to stop off.

The hotel is situated in one of the smaller villages on the island but well serviced by local transport (there are 3 restaurants and a lovely patisserie in a pretty little square).

We made a fleeting passage, the time of a night, quiet, great comfort, with very attentive hosts.
We highly recommend.
Do not hesitate.

A very beautiful address for the beauty of the place, the ambient serenity and the great delicacy of seb and stephy.

Excellent location being close to major facilities whilst being set in secluded woodland.

Le Bois Saint Martin is on a lovely secluded site surrounded by woodland yet conveniently close to major stores and the towns of Saint Martin and La Flotte.
