SPA Hotels in Aquitaine

We loved our stay in this unique and beautiful boutique hotel in the center of La Rochelle. It is walking distance to the charming town and marina.

The Arty Hotel enjoys an ideal location and is exceptionally well maintained.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Le Champlain, It was exceptionally clean and quiet. We had a view if the courtyard that was beautiful. Serene and relaxing.

Really spacious deluxe double room as we had 2 dogs. Beds/pillows really comfortable and well equipped. No small fridge.

This is a top notch hotel in every way.
We ended up having to stay in La Rochelle at the last minute because of wild fires in the Landes, where we were due to meet family.

Maison des Ambassadeurs is located in the heart of La Rochelle’s historic center, just a few minutes’ walk from the Central Market (Marché Central) and the Old Port (Vieux-Port), on a beautiful,

An outstanding hotel experience is always the result of many small details.

Staff were very hospitable and welcoming. We were accommodated right away.
The bathroom needs to be improved. The water leaks out since the glass shower door has a space in between.

We spend 60-70 nights a year in hotel rooms. Before I retired, possibly more. We think we know when a hotel is exemplary. This one fills the bill. It is not quite luxurious, but very comfortable.

We stayed at this hotel in Cognac for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The staff was very helpful in suggesting dining options and assisting us in arranging local activities.

I am in two minds about this establishment — many of the Relais & Chateau values are upheld : — hospitality and kindness, diversity & awareness of sustainability.

This hotel is phenomenal! The service is impeccable. I believe The Villa Grand Voile is a destination in itself. What a wonderful place to stay.

This hotel was converted from the shell of an old chapel and it has an industrial feel. My room was on the first floor which had high up narrow windows which faced the Ibis hotel opposite.

Very clean and cozy hotel. The staff is friendly and always available. However, if you need internet for work, be aware that it is very flaky and unstable. Apart from that everything is great.

The hotel is very well located and we had a nice room with a huge bed and lovely big bathroom. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Very nice hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was located close to where the smaller ships dock on the river. Close to the trams and trains. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This gem of a hotel is the perfect place to stay for a visit to Bordeaux.

We cannot say enough good things about Villas Fochs.

Le Palais Gallien Hotel & Spa is perfect for a relaxing stay in Bordeaux. From the first moment to the last, the staff could not have been more helpful yet remained unobtrusive.

Bordeaux is a beautiful city. I would visit again and again and I would always stay at Le Palais Gallien Hotel and Spa.

This is the best Ibis/ Ibis Styles I have ever stayed in! Modern well-equipped and close to the main station, buses and trams.

A lovely hotel; they provided free croissants and water during the day. Near train station, good location. Very clean.

This is my favorite hotel in Bordeaux. It’s extraordinary, refined, intimate, and monumental.
The industrial room design is stunning and still feels warm, which I see as a real success.

Fantastic stay at hotel la zoologie. Very close to the train station (8 min walk) but not so close it's noisy. Walking distance to capucin market (5 min walk) and city center (10-15 min walk).

Love the vibe, understated (loved it) the staff service everyone was efficient reception, concierge, Very personal & detailed welcome. The Morimoto restaurant, breakfast staff.

Very comfortable beds, generous bathroom and excellent shower. Housekeeping team were brilliant.
The reception staff need training in 5* customer service.

Doesn't get better than this in Bordeaux. Or anywhere, in our view. Staff — particularly Paul — were warm and SO helpful in every way. Very attentive to my wife, who has several health issues.

Le Boutique Hotel & Spa was fabulous! The rooms were beautifully decorated and the breakfast was delicious.

Quite simply THE best location in town — easy to walk to the best restaurants/ shops. Great service in the restaurants — try the Gordon Ramsey. The rooftop bar is a bit worn out.

Beautiful property inside and out with an extremely welcoming and helpful staff. Room was very clean and quiet. Well appointed and excellent bedding.

Overall a fairly pleasant stay here recently. We stayed for 3 nights at the start of May.
Good points:
— staff very friendly and service excellent.
— good location, quiet area.

Room was OK but the bathroom needs attention. The shower in particular had mould stains in several places showing that cleaning process is not as expected.

I spent two nights as part of a work trip for an academic conference. The hotel was a pleasant surprise in several ways. First the location.

Immediately felt comfortable in this lovely hotel situated in a quiet side street not far from the gorgeous park. Travel to the centre an easy 10-15 minute flat walk, we also used the tram.

"A wonderful boutique hotel in a fantastic location in Bordeaux. The rooms were spotless—on the smaller side, but that’s quite typical in Europe. The staff was outstanding and extremely accommodating.

Outstanding Hotel with an ideal location in the Historic Unesco Heritage section of Bordeaux. The room has central air and extremely comfortable beds & pillows.

Our room was large and had a kettle and mini-fridge. The hotel’s large patio is a great spot to have a beer and enjoy the view. We had dinner here and it was excellent.

We spent five nights here and it was wonderful. Ainhoa and the Oppoca are great for a relaxing retreat.

From the moment we pulled up, the service was impeccable: the bell team met the car with perfect timing, took our luggage, and made everything feel effortless.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left: A fantastic experience!

Due to the disappointment of having to cancel a holiday I took my wife for a romantic night away at the Chateau Hotel Edward 1st in Monpazier. No regrets.

I’d give this château 10 stars if I could! We loved the sense of history in the building yet the hotel is super clean and equipped with modern amenities including a pool and hot tub.

We very much enjoyed our 3 day stay at La Baronnie. Our room was very comfortable, with lots of natural light, a comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi, and a bathroom with swift hot water.

La Baronnie is a lovely hotel, great location in Saint Martin de Re, up a side street just off the port.
The atmosphere is calm and not too busy — I was there late September, early October.

We spent a very pleasant one-night stay at the Moulin to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed excellent cuisine throughout.

This is such a lovely hotel and we were sorry only to be able to stay one night. A warm welcome on arrival and a beautiful bedroom to relax in. Even in chilly November the hotel was warm and cosy.

What a great week we had as a family 😁.
Hubert and Mumu welcome you with a big smile and such energy! A joy after spending the day on the road.
The gîte village is very well located and quiet.

We had an excellent stay at La Truffiere. Muriel and Hubert are great hosts: always smiling, great atmosphere and ready to help.

My brother and I needed to visit Niort because a member of our family was hospitalised there. With little time to spare, we booked a hotel just a day before our arrival.

Lovely place to stay but I saw some of the pictures on the internet and I hppe to visit sometime.
