Great experience at Fort Arabesque. We stayed in the villas and the extra restaurants and bars make it an incredible experience. Staff always friendly, helpful and having a laugh! Ibraham on villas check in is fantastic and so helpful with any needs or requirements. Salim and friends at club 159 always making us laugh in the evenings! See you again!

Beautiful hotel great staff clean beech and stunning reef. Avoid the beech bar restaurant. We were sat in darkness and the staff were rude and unco-operative. Picked up food poisoning from club 159 3 days after my husband got it so spent a week inside the room. Rooms and hotel are well kept and grounds are beautiful.

It has been a very amazing resort we did have have an excellent anation team with a very delightful spirit. A splendid view with all kind of entertainment. I recomend this resort for everyone. You will have a lot of fun including a lot of different activities. Special thanks to sally our best animation leader.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience with Kimo at Star Surf with wind surfing. Was awesome for my husband, 2 children and myself. Kimo is gifted wind surf trainer — the best I had. The kids and us had so much fun. Highly recommended. What a trip and experience.

We had an unforgettable vacation! Our villa was a dream, everything was very clean and the staff was accommodating and friendly, especially the waiters in the pavilion :) Food was delicious everywhere!

Very nice, clean facility. We booked the villa and would do it again and again. The villa has always been maintained. The food is not varied, but it tastes very good. All employees are very friendly and accommodating. If there was a problem, it was solved directly. We had booked a trip to Luxor and were very lucky to have Hassan as a driver. He is very friendly, punctual and drives very pleasantly. He informed us about the different cities during the long journey, which was really interesting.

Absolutely love it here 😍 every single member of staff is friendly, helpful and kind. We have stayed in the hotel rooms and the villas, both are spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The villas are extra special and luxurious but the hotel rooms are bigger and better than any other hotel we have stayed at. We highly recommend the villas for the relaxed, special luxury they offer. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, every member goes out of their way to make your stay wonderful, from the beach boys, bar staff, restaurant staff and managers. we will definitely be coming again and again 😎😍

We had the perfect holiday here. The snorkeling right off the beach is spectacular. The food is great, the rooms are nice, everything about this place is awesome!

Fort Arabesque is the best Hotel Resort I have ever seen! It was amazingly beautiful and we got treated like queens. Everyone is really really nice and funny. To me its a second Home. We had a lot of fun and we will coming back as soon as possible. Everybody should go there! its a must!

It was a wonderful experience truly. The asset of this hotel is the marvelous staff. They are the most friendly welcoming staff I ever met and they do there utmost to make yuh happy. Starting from the reception staff, concierge, Chefs, housekeeping, waitresses and waiters everyone truly.
The hygiene procedures are followed well. The beach is awesome and huge. The service is excellent.
I want to thank in person Tye Chefs specula chef Ahmed with his lovely smile and for taking care of my kids healthy food.

We stayed for two weeks in January. Had a fabulous time. We went for the snorkelling and it didn’t disappoint! Absolutely amazing!
The beach was beautiful! Plenty of sun beds and plenty of activities. Water was so clear. It was like swimming with the cast of nemo!
Our room was spotless (thanks to the boys) and spacious.
The food was varied & the service was professional but friendly. And different restaurants so you weren’t stuck to one.
I loved that the drinks were served in glasses with table service. We spent every day down the beach & ate at the beach bar. Again the staff were lovely especially Waleed.
We only went to the pool once. It’s not our thing but they seemed clean with a swim up bar!
There was plenty to do day & night and the entertainment staff did a good job of making everyone feel involved! Some of the shows were hysterical!
One special mention must go to Dasha guest relations.
She literally made our holiday! She was so funny & friendly but also very professional. She went above & beyond in every way to make sure our holiday was fantastic. And it was! We will definitely be back next January & every January for the foreseeable future.

Thank you for great hospitality and a pleasant stay! The resort is beautifully made and everything is taken care of with great detail. All staff are very friendly, sometimes too friendly, but they put effort in making their guests feel good. I'd like to point out that the food is really good and often varies, as you have different dining locations throughout the resort. I'd like to specially thank Dasha from Guest Relation and Ashraf from the Beach Club, their welcoming personalities made me feel very comfortable! We had a room with seaview, which is recommended. The pools were very nice, you had options between heated pools, non heated pools and the sea. I hope to come back in the future as well! ♡

Been home from this fantastic resort for 2 weeks now and will definitely return next year. Beautiful relaxing beach, numerous choices of places to eat good food. Scrupulously clean anywhere you go and staff can't do enough for you! The lovely Dasha, customer relations on beach is a real asset to this resort. Can honestly say was sad to leave!

Beautiful sandy beach good for snorkelling just walk in the water, favourite place 159 bar spent a lot of time there relaxing place to sit and have a coffee or beer. Made friends with some lovey people had lots of fun dancing even the staff joined in ‍ chefs included thank you all. Staff always welcoming and polite that goes for every one we met anywhere in the hotel even the gardeners, Amazing gardens stayed in the west wing & loved the walk to the beach keep up the good work.

Wow. Best place on Makadi Bay. Only place where you can access the beach and swim. The rest you must go into a small corridor so you do not step on corals. Amazing resort. The food is very good, people are helpful and the variety of restaurants is amazing. Best spot ever. And you can snorkel once you are on the sea. No need to get a snorkelling boat. Entertainment for young kids ans for adults. Nice spa and amenities. Really recommended.

Quite simply the best holiday we've ever had. Beautiful location, secure and the staff are all fantastic. Everything runs like clockwork. We've three more days and will be sad to leave, but excited to return next year. Not one thing we could change, absolutely perfect and breathtaking scenery too.

Just got home from a brilliant 2 week holiday! beautiful gardens, lovely pool area and unbelievable coral reefs! the hotel grounds are massive so plenty to do! staff are very friendly and helpful and cant do enough for you, even brought a birthday cake for the room for me! also I paid extra for romantic meal on the beach as I was proposing to my girlfriend! the julia the customer service lady that sorted this for me was absolutely brilliant and cant thank her enough! the meal was outstanding and so was the venue and service! only a few negatives I have; 1. As soon as I arrived, as checking in the receptionist mohammed said to my girlfriend that we had a romantic meal booked which she obviously didn’t have a clue about as I was proposing! so after a few evil looks he quickly realised and changed subject! but caused me to panic for a few days prior to the meal and very nearly ruined the whole thing! was very unhappy with him! 2. Bar 159 was absolutely brilliant but they are screaming out for more bar and waiter staff! cant fault the rest of it though! 3. On our last day, it took from 7am until 11am for them to clean the bar pool! this should probably be done in the nights as interrupts our holiday. Also, the pool by the pizza place was closed off was green! shouldnt be left to go like that surely! all in all brilliant holiday and would recommend! thank you.

Just before the 1 hour came back, and I must say highly recommended. We were with our 3 children and the grandparents there. There is something for everyone here, the people are very nice and accommodating. A fantastic beach. Facility very well maintained and clean. Plenty of food and not to mention what else the taste would be very good. Thoroughly to be recommended and not to compare with some other to descend. You can book with a clear conscience this hotel.

We had a very bad experience with (forte arabesque) ; 3 thousands Egyptian pound stolen out of my room. The money was hidden in my wallet in a drawer. We talked to the supervisors as well as the security manager and they told me there would be an investigation. On the next day; they told me that there was a suspected one but the investigations should be completed. They promised me that my money would return ; but I had to go back home because the vacation was finished.
He …promised to call me back and return my money. We finally left the hotel. I waited but no one had called me. Then I called the security manager and surprised that he tell me that they can't find any thing and there is nothing back as it was my fault as I left my money in drawer. So it is unsafe to leave anything of value in your room, 'Take care. "

The beach is beautiful with nice coral reefs… we stayed in classic double room No. 234 in 1st floor. 1 day after arrival (after dinner and drinking coctails with ice cubes) we got stomach problems… during the whole stay… therefore I am not sure with using undrinkable water in the kitchen… Dining room — not so nice, food was O. K. But every day the same. Pools we never used… Important: Thi hotel is aprecciated by older guests 60+. There is no music on the beach. The hotel personal is very very friendly and helpfull. I 'd not give 4 or 5 stars for this hotel. According european approach it is 3 * Hotel.

Nice Holiday Village, mid-level with spectacular sea and many coral reefs scattered and easily reachable by all. Even non-experts can enjoy an amazing show. For the experts there is a very well equipped diving and with excellent staff for fantastic trips and Dives! Good level of cleanliness and food. Nothing fancy but good.

What about a place practically perfect?. Beautiful beach. Coral reef accessible to all. Great Diving Center of Carlo Cogliati Idive… Competent and very nice professionals.
In the resort there is not much entertainment but that's what we were looking for. It is the second time in 3 years that we come and will definitely return again. It also eats well is always varied… What more could you ask for?

Beautiful village, spotless with very green. Lovely staff. Restaurants rich in international food. Clean beach and beautiful sea. No problem with the language. I recommend there I spent 10 fantastic days.

We like to drive to this hotel as a family. If you want to find something, you will always find something! We think the hotel is great, food is very good! You always find something! The food is replenished quickly! Beautiful gardens, heated pool, colorful fish right on the beach, nice staff, some tipping lifts the mood but always! Room was clean the furniture was not new but who has to house getting new furniture? Room service could have been better! But maybe just lay at our room if! We drive again!

We had a great time with my family at this hotel from April 7th-14th. The Hotel is on the shore of a small bay with a clean beach and unusually beautiful azure water. This hotel can even have a great time on the beach without excursions, which we did. Diving in masks, photographed different beautiful fish near the coral! The Food is excellent, the service is top notch! I Want to go back again. Thanks again to all the staff of the hotel Fort Arabesque ♥ ️

The facility is very well maintained and large, but unfortunately this is also the only positive. The waitresses take forever to get your drinks and then have to get the ashtray again (which you have already asked for). The food is not the hit and also not a huge selection but for everyone there is something and you get full. All in all fine but definitely not worth a 5 * and also no 2nd holiday in the hotel.

Be aware that there are different levels of all inclusive, depending on your room type. The villas have access to a wider selection of restaurants / barbecue on the beach front, whereas standard accommodation only allows access to the main restaurant. Having said that, it's hard to fault the wide selection of food that aims to represent European, Egyptian and international tastes. Standard accommodation was basic but comfortable enough, if a bit dated/faded.

It was a great holiday. The Egyptians are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel may have come a bit in the years, but clean and has a great location by the sea.

Just returned from a fabulous stay! We made an upgrade to a villa (V14) and it was definitely worth it! Including the normal all inclusive you get your “own” sunbeds at the beach area and you can also eat without extra charge at the à la carte Pavilion Restaurant (great menu with prawns, beef fillet etc. ) and Club 159 (also before 20:30). Special thanks to Bassem and Romany from the Pavilion restaurant who always offered great personalized services and Waleed from Club 159 and his team there. We always had great lunch snacks there and loved his friendly and professional service and can do attitude. I can absolutely recommend this hotel with the swim-in villa concept. Beach is really nice and offers a quite and relaxing atmosphere with super snorkeling spots. Will be hopefully back soon.

Friendly and very attentive staff. Perfectly maintained outdoor complex. Rooms with sea views huge with seating area, a bit worn out, but still okay. Clean very nice beach. Dining room unfortunately more like canteen — heat container don't make it fresher. It lacks freshly grilled, especially fish!. The dining room in the renovated East Wing is clearly better.

I went on a couples holiday here in July, we had a great time but there were a few things stopping this being a 4 or 5 star rating. When I booked I emailed ahead and asked for an upgrade as I was honeymooning. We were told it would cost extra for a villa which is fair enough so left it at that but not given other room options. When we arrived we were given a rubbish ground floor room at the side facing the west wing (room 1007 I think? ). The hotel was in no way busy due to unrest so why put your guests in these rooms, all the sea view high rooms looked unoccupied, and especially as we had contacted beforehand about a better room this seemed lazy and not a great start. It wasn't helped that on the first day we had a 100 Egyptian Pound note missing from our case, I'm in no way implying someone took it but we hadn't even been there a day or spent anything and it was gone… Make your own conclusions. The hotel is cool, foods decent as you expect. Fish are immense, such a good beach here. Saw only a few people mistreating the reefs and they were at the Hotel next door, one guy actually standing on top of the reefs with no care for what he was doing. Shocking but this hotels guests were better. The animation team are really poor though, sorry to say.

At present, very much renovation is not being taken into account the needs of the guests. There is no interruption at lunchtime. There, further stemming and working with compressors is carried as a step. The food is rich and varied. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

After a hectic week up and down Egypt we decide to spend a few days of rest and relaxation at this resort. I rate it all, since for 3 days the price was over €400, but the reviews were great and the place looked gorgeous. So we book. The place is really gorgeous, but the first problem we find it on arrival. The room had a horrible and stinky bathroom, so we ask for a change. We see about 4 rooms (for God's sake they are made available on this) but each had some problems, basically caused by the fact that they are old and old.
The level of the staff is quite good, although we had some unpleasant incidents, when the cleaner after already a series of interruptions of our rest, he well thought of getting into the room by opening with the master while we were inside (and Exactly me in the shower). Also the first night the phone started ringing at 5 for no reason, and no one knew how to provide a valid reason.
For the rest all you pay, the Wi-Fi, the gym, the computers, the shuttle, the TV etc. The costs of the services are too high to be in Egypt. To be understood, we have spent the same amount for 4 days of Nile cruise always all inclusive and with all the excursions (about 10), entrances and guide in Italian included.
Only good notes are the food, and the beauty of the sea and the reef. And a very nice kitty that we often came to find outside the room (the only cat in health that I have seen in Egypt, as they treat them).

We have just come back from a two week stay. Amazing hotel food fantastic varied choice I have a food allergy and the staff were fantastic about it and offered to cook anything that I required. I thought it was great that we could eat at the beach bar and 159 as part of the all inclusive package. The room was lovely and had a sea view which was amazing, heated pools and 2 minute walk to the beach. This is by far the best beach in Makardi bay and the coral and fish are amazing. The animation team did a fab job and are so all friendly we watched the shows every night. Well done Fort to all your staff which made our holiday they are friendly and helpful. This was our first visit and won't be the last we will be coming again this Xmas and New Year for a month. Zoe.

Nice hotel. Big Green, beautiful, groomed territory, there is a place to walk. Two large enclosures. Two reception, lots of restaurants. The cave-clean beach is a lot sunbeds, there are heated pools with wind turbines. There are big waves on the beach though there are practically no cove. Friendly staff. Free Wi-Fi. Nearby there is a diving center.

The place is amazing, rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly and nice. Food is great and a lot of activities to do. Basically it is full of Germans, also most of the staff speak German. The beach is very nice, you can dive, snorkel, ski, paraski, and other great stuff. Rooms are extremely clean and everything is in order. Just bring you cloth and everything is available here.

Stayed for a week in one of their stunning spacious villas. Typical day. Up at 7am to sunbathe in the nip on a gorgeous circular double sofa. A quick dip in the walk in pool to cool down before dressing for breakfast at the pavilion restaurant. Later we were treated to a four poster bed a stone's throw from the sea complete with a complimentary cold box containing a selection of cold drinks. Lunch was had at club 159 followed by snorkelling and lounging around. Late afternoon saw us making our way back to the villa, via the beach bar for a well earned snifter, to catch the last of the sun. Pros. Upbeat, friendly staff. The villa. The coral reefs. The absolute peace. The villa. The mad as a box of frogs evening entertainment. Er. Did I mention the villa. Cons. Smoking everywhere. We don't smoke so this was really the only bugbear. Driving home in the drizzle from Gatwick we both agreed that we couldn't wait until it was possible to book for next year.

Very nice hotel. Best cuisine. Diverse buffet. Very friendly, helpful staff. All very clean. The beach is a dream. Ideal for children of all ages. From as early as 10 metres from the beach, many corals and fish can be admired. Simply recommended.

I have enjoyed my stay in Fort Arabesque. The resort is very well designed, I stayed in the villas with direct access to a shared pool. The room was very practical with plenty of space. I loved the beach there. Corals are amazing for snorkeling fans. The food was really good and the place was very clean. Only one issue there. The mobile network is very unreliable!

Very nice resort has 4 swimming pools, including one with the bar inside! Very large rooms with sea views "almost all" mini bar, air conditioning! At the beach between an umbrella and another much room, coral reef a few meters from the beach! You can see fish and coral with water at the knees! Staff very friendly, smiling and attentive to customer needs! The only flaw in the two years that I've returned the store staff "bazar" very Crabby! I highly recommend it! @

Perfect location right on the best beach in makadi bay great snorkelling lovely gardens and grounds negatives food not great rooms dated but slept ok and never starved and would go back no problem.

Who may pay a little at time of booking, value on extra services such as separate breakfast location, own pool, free Wi-Fi, and %Prozente% in the Spa & Wellness area wishes you a booking of a villa close to the heart it may set. This hotel makes a holiday only for the holiday! :) )

Unfortunately no second mal… waren so many times in Egypt, but the food was it with distance from the worst Hotel. Super hotel!
It is the most beautiful hotel in Makadi Bay. Sunbeds and umbrellas have a comfortable distance from each other, the hotel's reef, located about 15-20 m from the shore that invites for snorkeling. Slippers are recommended.
The food is delicious and varied.
The animation is not intrusive, it is not pushed to any embarrassing things. Also the "moving traders" on the beach is confined to the on-site stores like Spa, water sports center, etc. These are non-obtrusive and immediately accept a friendly 'no, thank you'.
Perfect for young couples.

Fort Arabesque offers a beautiful beach for snorkelling, especially with the own house reef. Even when there are more waves this peacefully located in a Bay and invites. The food is alright and offers everything you need. However is little typical food. The room was simple and okay (we had the normal room) and the cleanliness also fully in order. It is cleaned every day and if you want, you get new towels every day. The service was very engaging and friendly, just a waiter was somewhat pushy. This is definitely not a young hotel and invites mainly to relax and unwind. I cannot judge the child-friendliness. What is something bad, is located in Makadi Bay hotels only strung and there is therefore no beach promenade with the typical bars and shops. To do this you have to drive close Hurghada bus, which provided also by the hotel for an additional fee.

The Fort Arabesque is a very clean, quiet the staff is very friendly and helpfull also the hotel is very nice Reef and surfing, paddle boat or catamaran ride is included in the price and fun it was just a very nice holiday who also a skosh would like to celebrate, can some hotels go further into a small Disco :-).
