Great location for the beach. Lovely surroundings and the buildings are up to date and very clean. Breakfast and lunch is good but dinner is a nightmare! Very busy and noisy! They should open two restaurants for dinner. Also there’s a tendency for people to be claiming sun beds left right and centre at sunrise! Apart from that a good place to stay.

Everything clean and nice, a lot of trees, big pool, amazing sea! all staff so friendly and helpful, big thanks for this! animation team-wow! during the day a lot of activities for kids and adults, so funny aquagym! for kids have nice kids club and playground! my kids enjoy mini disco and after all our family go to evening show programm! team have amazing shows ☺️☺️☺️ we like so much dance animation show. After show we spend sometime in terrace and move to disco Coco-loko! I hope we will come again💕

My first visit to LABRANDA, it's really awesome and stunning; specially the staff: the joyful and most spectacular animation team, the receptionists, the whole activities were on fleek and interesting ❤️ Hope to go there once more❤️❤️

The hotel is very disgusting. The room service is so bad. They neglect the guest's request and the administration is not polite with the guests. It was a bad experience to spend the vacation time there.

Friendly, helpful staff, good entertainment and food, right on the beach, but also has excellent pools, food and drink are plentiful.

The hotel is very nice, but the food is terrible and mostly cold. Breakfast is the best meal of the day. Having the entertainment, and a lot of the restaurants outside at this time of year is stupid far too cold to sit out. I have been to Egypt many times and this is the worst hotel I have have stayed in for food and entertainment.

Very nice hotel with nice grounds. The room facilities are getting old, but as I know Labranda, they are working on it. The staff is nice, friendly and very accommodating. Unfortunately, one is not able to prevent the daily destruction of hundreds of food, which guests pack up their plates and then do not eat.

Was there for the first time in Nov. 2021 with my family. Very nice facility, friendly and helpful staff.
I can especially recommend Hany with his horses and camels. Hany and his staff offer a great program. The ride went through the desert and then to the sea. Great pictures and videos are made. A very nice memory. Hany and his troupe are all very friendly, in a good mood and always have fun. The price / performance ratio exceeds everything. A great experience for little money. The animals are all cared for and in very good condition. You can take pictures with the animals without Hany asking for money. Although I think giving a few euros for a photo wouldn't hurt anyone. I will definitely come back. 👍🤗

My review is while I am in the hotel. The dedication of the hardworking staff is really great plus amazing beach and nice afternoon party.
However, not a very nice welcome on check in we stayed in the reception more than 2 hrs without even a welcome drink especially I had some elderly people with me.

Visited it in mid of August 2018 and I have to admit that it's quality and service became much better since last time I visited it. Price rate became stupidly high. Although I had a terrible time before going there with the reservation manager there (who isn't respectable much), however, we spent a nice vacation there. P. S. : If you are booking online, please call the hotel before arriving there to make sure that you will pay the amount you booked by online or to make sure that you will pay nothing more in case you already full paid, cause you can get an amazing surprise that they will charge you more than the rate you booked by.

I loved this hotel actually the service was good and food too and the view was just perfect and there were many beautiful women there.

The staff attitude was so bad … The room was dirty & my towels were stolen on the beach and pool and I had to pay a fine instead. The buildings are good and the veiw is so awseme but the staff need to be more professional, polite and helpful.

Nice hotel with chic coral reef. Great food, lots of bars and restaurants, delicious desserts. The rooms are clean, although they are little old in design. The mini-bar is cleaned and replenished daily. Very friendly staff. The restaurant has good wine and the lobby bar is a delicious mojito. The beer is powdered in most bars except for the small pool bar (on the shady side of the hotel). Shampoo/shower Gels, slippers was not. Compliments from hotel newlyweds too. But the hotel still liked it. Stayed in October 2015.

A beautiful hotel with a beautiful beach. Predominantly friendly staff where it's fun to go on holiday. The waiters are friendly for the most part, with there are also some of the annoying ones. The only shortcoming is food. There is a wide selection of dishes, but everything tastes the same. After the 5th day the variety is over and one tries to talk the food nicely.
The so much praised promenade with the various specialties I find is an imposition, because it can not be that I reserve there in full hope and actually get the same as in the dining room.

Okay if all you want to do is sunbathe and be surrounded by Germans, there is nothing to do around the area unless you pay to go to places of interest, I got terrible food poisoning on the Sunday dinner due to the prawn cocktail please avoid. The food is virtually the same every day although palatable it gets very boring and designed for the German palate. All the staff seem to do is want money from you in tips, they look at you is if you are a money machine, they hassle you All the time around the pool for massages snorkelling etc, so tired of this now, There are far better places to go than Egypt trust me just going to Italy.

Very good hotel, right on the Red Sea. Great grounds, friendly staff, very good food in 6 restaurants, the rooms are large and well equipped. WLAN everywhere (with rental router from €15) otherwise only in the lobby. Snorkeling at the reef in 10 ' accessible. Reinhard.

It's hard to explain, because I can't understand why you have to pay extra for ultra all inclusive stuff like freshly squeezed orange juice or in the all Carde restaurant. The staff is great also the location. However, some of them quite overwhelmed. Another room as booked, WLAN really more than upgradeable.

Actually I drove with low expectation to this hotel, as Labranda is known to book hotels fully and thus overstrained the capacity or service.
But I am positively surprised, satisfied service in almost all areas with little improvement potential. (Wi-Fi + self-service drinks)

This is the hotel I stayed in (over two periods) during the fortnight I was in Egypt. There were 85% Germans there, so the food & entertainment were geared towards them, and I didn't eat much. The facilities were first class, though, and I would recommend it for the wonderful staff, good accommodation, beautiful beaches and all-inclusive refreshments. Down sides were poor Wi-Fi reception and the fact that it is several miles from the nearest town, Hurghada. All-in-all, a lovely hotel and recommended if you are staying in Egypt (also highly recommended, but you will need a holiday afterwards! )

This is a very nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. It has one large buffet restaurant and five specialist restaurants. The specialist ones (Greek, Cuban, Oriental etc) have to booked in advance and are worthwhile visiting. Unfortunately they allow smoking in them. The gardens are very attractive here and a lot of work goes into maintaining them. Makadi Bay itself is purely a site for hotels so there is nothing else there but if you just want a beach/ pool holiday in the sun then I can highly recommend this hotel.

Solid 4. The hotel is nice, clean, well-groomed. The beach is sandy, no slippers are needed, you can run into the sea. The food is good, varied. If not for a complete disregard of the Russian language would put a firm 5.

This is Royal Azur, not Tropicana. Good hotel, only there is no point to go to the fish restaurant, the Egyptians do not know how to cook seafood.

We stayed again after a Nile cruise but for the first time in the labranda Royal Makadi for a week. We were completely satisfied with the room of the food and the beach, the gardens are sensationally maintained. We can recommend the Royal Makadi.

Great team, very nice. 2 swimming pools + on the Red Sea side. Restaurants included in the price, great.
But the shops are too expensive.

First of all, with the hotel & its facility I was more than satisfied. Only with the "Neptune Oasis Spa" area not at all. 120 minutes for 120 euros but after 84 minutes the end was the order! Then — no reaction from the receptionist: — (

We were following a Nile river ride at the Labranda Royal. The rooms, service and everything else met our expectations. The staff throughout the hotel area were extremely friendly and courteous. We will join each other in the spring. Book back into this hotel.

We were there the second time. Through the New Owners, the hotel has made many new features. The new restaurant pavilions are a major upgrade of the entire facility. Resort is nice however on our arrival they tried to send us too a different hotel 10 minutes away by car as they were overbooked. Got a chalet for 2 days instead. Reserved chalet for return from Nile cruise and we didn't get one. Regular room overlooking the main pool. Staff are friendly however one shop has a very pushy salesman that will block you from leaving the store and try to charge you 10x what the price should be and then haggle with you (which they aren't supposed to do in the hotel).

One of the best resorts I have ever seen… it should be rated 7stars… so live and staff are so cooperative from the reception especially Mr Mohamed with his welcoming smile who really helped us a lot till the housekeeping. As for the food the quality and the quantity are more than wonderful… also the restaurant the greek and the Cuban are the best also the Asian and the oriental are really so delicious… varieties which helped us to choose whatever we like … the pool are very nice and secured with those attentive guards. The "hard all inclusive " in this hotel is more than sufficient … you will need nothing. I really appreciate your effort to make my stay unforgettable… sure will come back so soon.

Great hotel, But Unfortunately to say that the Receptionists are not friendly, unprofessional workers with slow response and terrible lazy workers. The only reason that makes me want to come to the hotel for another time is the animation team. The animation team members are the best in the hotel they are excellent and very active and very polite, the morning activities and the night shows are super and I spent a lot of great time, I would love to repeat this experience once again soon.

Probably the best hotel in Makady, great cafe's and restaurants, all the staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms as you would expect are very clean and air conditioned, sound insulation ensures a good night's sleep. The whole complex is nicely laid out, it also has shops and banks.

The hotel is really not tropikano a royal Azur. Was 21.11.2015 The hotel is super, the kitchen is unparalleled, the territory and the beach are huge and cleverly created, near there are reefs, rooms on 5zvjozd not pull but clean, cleaning every day bar is filled too every day, one minus lack of internet, there is in Hoth Wi-Fi but only there and scary Tupit. Was on holiday in early December 2014. The staff, service great, food is varied to suit all tastes! Clean everywhere. Just rest on 100%. If pledu next time for a vacation in the region, the tol′kl and the ostanoalûs′.

The hotel is so horrible that I want to write about it! The alleged 5 star all 2. Infact at the very end of the hotel room where the through the door into another room to other people, which quietly opened and was an excellent audibility. No shampoo, bath gel is even a trifle compared to the metal capsule gum prileplennymi tub, collapsing to furniture, disgusting smell in room, noisy air conditioning, scratched furniture, antediluvian tv, dirty and ragged towels. A guide warning — "don't be surprised if something disappears from the room, so that there, do not leave valuable things" is instantly killed. Food is generally normal, but this "juice", diluted concentrate is better not to drink, like a rotten water cooler (! ), eating birds running around outside at the restaurant, no longer fresh salads, small amount of fruit (melon, only once have pears and apples, with gaudy), very often have dirty dishes and persistent lack of cutlery on the table.
