Nice staff, big rooms. Would have been perfect if at least some of the pools were heated.

We are very thankful to our Partners for our tourist’s comfort. Team is open to communication, all our requests have been processed very fast and nice. Our client is happy, she is enjoying her stay at beautiful Stella Di Mare Makadi. As a travel agency we highly recommend the Hotel.

We stayed in Stella di mare Beach makadi for two weeks (4-18.11) this year. It was our first time there. Overall impression is ok, though I lacked guest relation service as the communication with staff was tiring and redundant to arrange all the things for a peaceful stay in the hotel. The rooms are cosy with exceptionally clean and new bedlinen;
The beach has great coral! Worth going definitely!
The food is ok, nothing special but satisfying. (But I am very picky)
Surprisingly — No good coffeeno ice cream and popcorn for kids for UAL guests.
The territory is amazingly well kept and green There were a couple of unpleasant things, but the staff was responsive and all ended up well… but the final day … and lack of competence of Malak Metany (night receptionist (? ). His behaviour spoiled the impression of a great vacation, as he made our last night sleepless, individual and extra-paid transfer to the airport useless and stressful. It would be reasonable if you could do something so that no other person would suffer the same experience as we did and we could recommend your hotel in future.

Very good hotel Great food.

It was great, all 12 nights plus 35 runs on inclusive. Long pier with access to the depth with corals. On site there is a diving club (for a fee). Great beach for children. Especially liked the animation, being bored is not allowed. But there are drawbacks. 1) On the pier of tourists from other hotels, so people were there much, cells things ended quickly. The guards did not watch much with a hotel and relax on the beach. 2) name written spa. But on inclusive spa is not included. My wife tried to breed first for 350$, then$ 250, agreed on 50$. In paid services was not foamy procedures. So that the conscience of service providers is not, as you have so much to squeeze. Free use of the Spa at all. For comparison, in Turkey Spa was divided into paid and on inclusive. So free to sit in the Hamam did not work. 3) From the diet I did not notice the watermelon, although the food was good. 4) Tea is poured themselves, the branded supply of tea in Turkey is not. Local strong alcohol is not advised. The beer is good, company, Stella, pharaon. Had some good cocktails.

By the existing habit settled in the room, which offered the hotel (one nuance — the hotel offered the first floor with access to the terrace, I asked for a room with a balcony, which and checked in). Without any "suggestions" on my part and "hints" on the part of the hotel worker. As a result, it turned out to be a standard "garden view" room, with a beautiful view from the window, silence and cosy, with the opportunity to drink tea/coffee on the balcony (kettle and accessories in the room, if there is little tea/sugar — get in the restaurant).
Pros of the territory: well-groomed (flowers, bushes, thick grass cover, palm trees/trees — all trimmed, polytod, blooms and smells, no "smelling" sprays), thoughtful (from any room a lovely relaxing-soothing view of the pool/garden/sea), suitable for the morning/day/evening promenade. A bunch of pools (4, one heated 28 degrees). There are plenty of shops/minimarkets with a good selection of souvenirs and a variety of goods (don't forget to haggle). The lobby has relatively tolerable Wi-Fi. I recommend buying a local sim (such as Orange) at the airport (after receiving your luggage just before leaving the building) for $5, which gives you 2.5GB of traffic of acceptable quality. There is a large spa (was not, I do not know the details).

It is a very good hotel, there's a good variety of food. The pools and the garden are very nice. I gave 4 stars because the rooms are not well furnished for a 5 star hotel. Be warned that it doesn't have a normal beach, it's a coral reef and to enter the water you need to walk on a long jetty because the water is shallow and you can damage the corals and hurt yourself.

Service was excellent, very friendly staff especially the man cleaning our room who made towel animals every day. Buffet was good but the all inclusive formula is a bit limited compared to other hotel. Very limited snacks outside of the main buffet times and beverage service stops pretty early. Also there isn't anything to do in Makadi so if you want to go out you're stuck with a 45 minute trip to Hurghada. The reef and diving school at the beach are big plusses though, as is the fact that you can also use the pools and bars at the nearby Stella Gardens. All in all a decent hotel.

Very nice place. Spacious rooms, nice decoration. The restaurant is good with wide variety of food stuffs. The front desk employees and housekeeping personnel are friendly. There’re wide green areas. The negative thing is the beach as it‘s one of the worst beaches I have have ever seen.

If you do not pay attention to the condition of the rooms (standard) and you did not come to the sea then it is quite possible to relax.
But… the beach is about nothing. If you go with children then this hotel is not for you. The beach is not sandy, and solid from the remains of corrals, without shoes will not go (cut feet like me), to a depth of more than the belt you need to go 300 meters, swim only in the daytime, because at night, and in the evening already, climb sea urchins. You can of course go to the beach to the nearby hotel Labrando (to the right of ours, how to go to the sea), there you can swim with children, the beach without corals, but sunbeds there can not occupy.
BUT if you like to watch the underwater world then here it is possible to complete) round coral reefs and very beautiful, the set for swimming (mask, flippers, tube) the easiest will cost about 20 dollars and go) only masks all pass water, so it is better buy houses more expensive.

So far, everything has been great. The outdoor facilities are super well maintained, the buffet is rich and varied. Until now, most employees have been very nice. Drinks were also regularly served on the beach. Rooms are spacious, but you can see that they were equipped a few years ago. Nevertheless, the beds are comfortable and it is — — clean by Egyptian standards. I'd visit it again!

Nice hotel at first glance. But disappointing in the end:
Negatives:
-the reception staff was unsympathetic, not warm or smiling, and most often overflowed. Average wait time, 5 to 10 minutes.
-The room we had was not of any freshness: faulty fridge, poorly resilicated shower, dirty blankets and stained.
-We had Wi-Fi. It was unplugged as early as Saturday morning so we were only at 2pm and we had taken a one week package on the previous Sunday.
-We are constantly requested at the beach to sign purchase orders for the spa or for excursions or for snorkeling.
-Spa: not disappointing, but I would say squarely traumatizing: the "commercial" of the Spa who asked us on the beach sold us benefits that were very far from the reality:
Facial: no pre-makeup, facial cleansing with a rotating brush that passed from me to the person accompanying me without being disinfected or at least cleaned between.
The "commercial" had touted me a miracle care for my dry hair which turned out to be a simple shampoo without any particular care thereafter (not even a conditioner) and a simple foam lacquer.
Manicure: varnish placed on the nail without base, nor top coat. The salesman had told us that there would be a hand care: none.
Pedicure: same.

Very nice setting. Everything is available. Great holiday.

The Rooms are very old, need renovation! The Water in the shower is pouring slowly! Tiles and seams are a separate story! The feeling that the repair was done by schoolchildren. The Bed was not changed to me at all, only 3 times changed sheets covered. The Linen is old and yellow! I like the pillow cases, one was yellow from time, and the second is white.
For Breakfast The normal man to eat not what, not counting terrible soy and tasteless sausages and sausages! Lunch and dinner are more normal, not taking into account the complete unsanitary, where the dining room flies birds and food crawling spiders, also birds peck food on the hand. For a cheap holiday ok. It's all old. Food but better than expected.

Nice hotel, according to the Egyptian standards of clean. Bags of juice, but in large mixers juice is not bad. Coffee machines Nescafe, is also passable. The beach is great, enough space for everyone. A lot of tourists among the Germans. The food is varied, every day for at least three meats, each cooked 3-4 dishes. Reef in the sea of mediocre, a lot of dead coral. Fish is also small, but very large. Species diversity is also good, but it still looks poor. Very pleased with such a trifle as noiseless suspension of curtains. When the wind shakes the curtains, curtain rods do not knock! The overall service of the hotel is excellent, but it may not be 5*: there is no Elevator, only 2 towels, no bath (shower), no bidet, no Bathrobe, and Slippers. But still, the impression is excellent.

Great Hotel.
The Variety of food suffers a little, but otherwise a great hotel. The weak concentation of the Russian population Pleases.

First the good: food is top of our room also, for that 5 stars are Justified. But not for the dining room. It's like a train station Restaurant. Loud, hectic, Restless. The worst thing: to get the food from the Buffett is Normal. But also to get the drinks yourself is not 4, 5 star Level.
The lobby is also in the style of a waiting hall. Zero operation, Zero Atmosphere.
Quite bad: for WLAN is required per 5 euro. In the lobby free, but does not bring anything as the tempo reminds from 64 K modem.

The hotel is very old. Re-Innovation is required. Pros: — food is great! Very tasty — it is the reason for 4 star rating there: always fish, chicken, beef, very often BBQ. Chinese restaurant is the most favorite — room is very clean — coral reef is great : a lot of different fish near hotel pier — much more that near "Paradise" island Cons: — old, very old towels — impossible to change towel at towel station: towels must be left at noon and get cleaned at morning, but not earlier than 7:30 — low water pressure in shower — bartenders/hookah-man are rude: usually do not hear what are you telling them, get pissed off when you correct them and arguing with you — telling that they have to much work — surrounding could be cleaned more carefully — see is highly affected by Tide — sand on the beach is so-so: not soft, at some area is pressed and feels like a stone.

A nice well maintained hotel with good food and beautiful house reef. The only thing is the bathroom, which requires renovation or REPAIR. The sellers on the beach nerves pretty fiercely, that doesn't have to be and everything else is good.

It's a great place with its rooms, restaurant and beach. Also the hotel staff are polite and helpful. It's two jakuzi are very good.

Amazing resort, clean rooms, beautiful sea, the animation team is fun, the food is utterly stunning with lots and lots of varieties. You can do all the activities you want like diving, snorkeling or just swimming. Would totally recommend and sure will visit annually.

I was the first time in Egypt and the first time in this hotel. Am very positively Surprised. The service, the food the people everything was great. Also the beach and Pool. Definitely go again.

Very nice hotel… friendly and courteous staff… Great choice of Egyptian food… The hotel grounds are well maintained and clean… The rooms are a little over the years but the surrounding is all the more beautiful… On the beach you will be contacted by the tour guides to make boat trips which has annoyed a little… We Traff Ahmed and Adam who were very nice and with whom we made for €35 a boat trip which was very nice… We stayed on 08/02/2018 since it was windy but the water was pleasantly warm… If you have found a good tour guide then you can also plan further tours… It's worth it and it's fun and no one is as intrusive as I have told all before… Am pleasantly surprised…

The two families stayed in January 2018. I appreciate the rest. For the price/quality ratio, accommodation, territory and food. The hotel is located on the first line, you can freely visit Stella Makadi on the second. We had two rooms with sea view. The room was clean. Very friendly staff. Always with a smile, very well treat children. The room is neat, kettle, TV, two armchairs, a table, a wardrobe, bedside tables, a desk. The bed was very comfortable. On a call on Resep brought an iron, additional plaids (in Jan a couple of days was cool). Air conditioning is available. The plumbing is OK, hot water around the clock. Water changed, no problems added a couple of bottles. The grounds are green, I liked more than the Albatross Palace. You can walk and eat where. Swimming pool is heated, in January, of course, it is possible only in it and in the sea, but all the other six pools are clean, transparent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Couple of families Belarus, couple Ukraine. Mostly Germans, Holland, Britain. Therefore, the quality is certainly at its height. Food is the level of a decent turkey. Fruits are constantly, meat is chicken, beef, duck, lamb. Vegetables are not counted, garnishes varied. Two times a week sea days. They gave shrimps, mussels, crabs, oysters. Daily Grill, kebab. On the beach pasta, fast food. Coffee machines at any point. Alcohol as everywhere in Egypt.

Big beautiful and green territory. Clean. A good beach. Very tasty and varied food (even Breakfast ;) ) the restaurant is always several kinds of fish/poultry/meat. Many fruits, incredible selection of desserts. 4 restaurants a La carte. Not ashamed to recommend

A bunch of computers (4, one heated to 28 degrees). On site a lot of shops/mini-markets with a good selection of Souvenirs and Sundry goods (remember to haggle). In the lobby with tolerable Wi-Fi. I recommend right at the airport (after baggage claim before you exit the building), buy a local SIM (e. G. Orange) for $5 which gives you 2.5 GB of traffic is of acceptable quality. There is a large SPA (was not, did not know the details).

The facility is well maintained as you can get it. But unfortunately you can see the age. The walls are too thin to isolate the noise from the outside.
But otherwise you can't say anything negative. Food drink staff super.
A little tip moves a lot. The staff really tries to give you the feeling, here you are right.
The volume of the system is the only thing we didn't like. Therefore only 4 stars.

Loved it, it might be the best one around the Makadi Bay for younger people that just want to lay in the beach or older couples. I liked that it was really close to the sea and even if we didn't have the bussiness class room, me and my friend had a wonderful view at the sea. It has it downs, I woudn't say that this hotel deserve 5 stars, it felt more like 4 stars. The water first days in the room was cold, and the Wi-Fi is only in the lobby and it was terrible (but I noticed that everywere in Egypt the internet is reaalllyyy slow). And the rooms doesn't feel like 5 star hotel, but we had our privacy and it was possible to have a good time. Really good food and drinks :)

Stayed there fo 7 days and in the first day we understand that this place is a paradise. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful all day long. Our room was pool viewed and cant ask for a better place than that. Room was very nice and clean, beds were so good. A/C worked perfektly. Samir was the guy who cleaned our room every day and made hearts and swans with towels for us and he was always very happy. Pool side was beautiful and clean but would have liked if there were some music playng all the time. The “DJ” mixed 2-3 song together and it was awful. Cant say nothing bad about the food to, There was plenty of different tastes for evryone. You cant swim right next to the beach but that bridge compensates it. Because it takes you right to corals and you can snorkel there. At evning I recommen to take shisha for 3€. Guy who handles shishas is very cool dude. It was best vacation we ever had.

Very nice hotel, nice staff, clean large rooms.
The choice of food is unique, it is rarely satisfied, but at Stella there is also Arabian food every day, I had never before.
I can only recommend this hotel to anyone!

Very very big disappointment…
very nice hotel from outside very nice pools but when you enter the room it is the shock compared to the standing of a hotel 4/5 stars… I know what I'm talking about I worked myself in the Hotellerie… The bathroom has to wait 20min for hot water, the faucet of the rusty shower and the coarseness of the joints… the bed and the mattress has nothing either of the expected standing and the dust of the places, the abadays of the dark lights and the headboard in a lammentable State! When at all inclusive I hope you like industrial without tastes and sodas cut to the water, if you ever like the real coffee you will disenchanted when you see that the espresso is made with soluble coffee (style Nescafe) … you want to enjoy the pool we will harass you the days to sell you activities that are 4times cheaper in the city. Fortunately we rented a car because the hotel is more than 30km from the city center in the middle of the desert and if you count on the taxi from the hotel it is 20euros the race… brief disappointment this hotel served us as a dormitory…

Suitable for snorkeling-there is a decent coral at the end of a very long pontoon, polite helpful staff, a wide variety of dishes in the restaurant, the food is not distinguished by sophistication, but quite appetizing, contingent-the Germans of pre-retirement age, youth little, but Yes, very quiet. To Hurghada about 30 km.

Were there in the year 2012. It was the first trip abroad. Really liked the hotel and meals. Variety of dishes impressed so much that still think the kitchen of this hotel is the best.
