The hotel is awful. The food is not edible and only lukewarm at best. The swim up pool bar is freezing. The furniture is falling to pieces and everything is discusting and filthy. we had constant diarrhea, fell over on the uneven pathways and no one cared. worst experience ever, go somewhere else in Makadi Bay, away from this dreadful place.

From the first step vacation was spoiled. Men in the lobby never heard about "good service" and "5 starts hotel". No smile, no "sorry"… Hotel was almost empty but I have waited almost for 2 hours in the lobby after 2 days trip with hungry and tired child. They didnt want to give me my room, cause I denied to pay extra money (16 usd per day). Furniture is broken, I saw mouse in the lobby. IT is definately not "5 stars hotel".

TIA heights makady was a true 5 star hotel, but this became a history. During my first visit to this hotel I found it very special, clean and very quiet which is suitable for a family vacation. Policies had been changed and now it doesn’t deserve even 3 stars. The hotel is not clean, housekeeping is bad and food doesn’t match the 5 stars rankings. The hotel is always noisy. Making your stay better depends on personal relations in that hotel. Not recommend for family visits.

I'll start by saying that I'm being extremely kind by giving this hotel 2 stars. We stayed from 02/04/2018 to 09/04/2018, 5 people, myself, my partner, daughter aged 7 and parents in law aged 74 and 75. We were taken to our rooms which were an absolute disgrace! Not worth a single star. They were up two flights of stairs, no lifts, my father in law has difficulty walking never mind climbing stairs. The whole place was falling apart. Cracks in the tile around the bath and looked so dated. Nothing like the 5 star pictures on the beach use to describe/advertise the place. It was so tiny you couldn't even fit the two single beds that were in there and we needed a 3rd bed for my daughter to be put in the room. When it arrived it was a camp bed that was falling apart. That was the final straw! I wasn't going to let her sleep on that for a week. We went to reception and asked to see the manager. I explained that we'd paid for a 5 star hotel called Tia Heights not Cascata where we were. I was told I'd have to pay 16USD a night per room more for Tia heights and I lost it! I said I wanted to see someone who can do something about this as my paperwork had 5 stars Tia heights. Eventually a manager had us moved to the Dunes still not in the main building and up a steep bank for one night as there would be rooms becoming available the next evening a 3 min walk from the main building, Tia heights. We agreed. When we got there the rooms were only slightly better, definitely not 5 star.

Stayed in November 2017g. The Hotel is very nice. The Area is large, lots of places to repair. The Water park is good. The Staff is friendly.
