Svendborg Hotels

We had a wonderful family stay at Stella Maris over the Christmas holidays. The service and staff were absolutely outstanding, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

We had the best of times at Stella Maris. What a breathtaking place. We had room 20 with our own little garden.

Positive: Comfortable bed & clean. Very satisfying breakfast The host is accomodating & kind The place was easy to find & we had our entrance The shower & toilet was clean & nice.

Positive: Super friendly hosts, and the breakfast was amazing. Room was lovely. Will Come back if we go to Thurø again.

This is a beautiful bnb and Niels is a gem. A real home from home.

Just amazing. Great service and friendly staff. We booked a suite room but when we arrived we got upgraded to a double suite with sea view.
Good breakfast and all amenities were clean and nice.

Lovely location — a little out of the way, but not too much. Borrow a bike from the hotel and get going.

Great hotel in the centre of Svendborg. The hotel rooms are very nice and well equipped. The hotel has a superb restaurant — I can highly recommend staying at Hotel Svendborg …

Now mind you this visit took place in mid-spring 1983.
I was stationed in what was once called West Germany in the modest town of Grafenwohr.

Good option for a self served hotel. My room 8 was by the staircase and I could hear people go up and down through the night, my stay could have been better.

This was probably the 3rd or 4th time I stayed here. It is a fairly simple hotel/hostel but clean and nice. You get the material to make your own bed.

We stayed one night on a road trip to the southern Funen area. The hotel is beautifully situated in the small maritime town of Troense, and with a great view of the Svendborg Strait.

Reception /checkin was smooth.
Our room was spotless with extra pillows and towels. Lovely little private patio with view to wooded area. Comfortable beds.

We stayed 2 nights as a base for a trip to Aeroe. We had to go across the road to our room and followed signs up stairs, through doors, and around corners which made it feel like a labyrinth at first!

We booked this hotel because it's so close to the ferry terminal but as soon as we walked in to the reception we realized that it was exceptional.

The perfect countryside escape from the city in Denmark!
It's like the Cotswolds in the UK but better because you also have the coast.
