Great location and the room was clean however, the temperature in the room was too warm, the bed and pillow was way too soft and uncomfortable.
The shower is great, but the water goes everywhere on the floor.
Breakfast in the morning was average but the views made up for it.

Almost never had less value for my money. € 250 for a suite with view on the sea.
A big room, not a suite. Yes, over the big roofs I could see the sea… Outdated. Roomservice was not available due to lack of staff but my problem is that they didn’t communicate this when I booked. Nearest restaurant was at least 15 minutes walk but the kindly offered me to take a plate and silverware up to my room….
When you use the shower, the whole bathroom including your toiletpaper gets wet.
Warm room with no airco not fan. Very noisy: delivery trucks in the morning and refrigerator and airco from the kitchen in the evening.
Breakfast was very nice thus a second star.

Location was magnificent. Sandy beach for swimming! Maybe it was a 4star hotel when it was built but in my opinion, not anymore. Room where I stayed had no telephone, no air-co. Ms. Lone at the reception was superbly helpful. The sheets were changed on the fifth day after requesting it. Loud music until 04:30 on weekends from across the bay and the festival. So not a very quiet place. Some young waiters should be trained: not to put thumb in side the dish! Conference side worked well. Happy with it. Breakfast was plentiful.

Hotel very nice. Staff warm and helpful. Restaurant terrible. Conference meals always 45 minutes or more late. Crowded and loud. Would not allow people to sit outside when restaurant was roasting hot. Meals scheduled for 1 hr but took way longer especially if you had a special diet. We started eating in town because restaurant was so unpleasant. Servers were OK but overwhelmed. Management never solved issues like long drink lines or incredibly slow service.

The rooms were OK but not as good when you think about the hotels star classification. A 4-star hotel should have a degree of luxury that I did not find at this hotel.
The breakfast was closing very early, but that's a minor detail. The breakfast wasn't good (it seemed like the scrambled eggs were made of a powder type) and there wasn't enough kitchen staff to supply the buffet quick enough for the amount of guests.
The hotels environment is on point. Beautiful view from some of the rooms to the canal, and even to Svendborg city, so that is why this hotel reaches 3 stars.

Absolutely lovely place. I booked a last minute room and I am so glad I did. The nice lady who checked me in gave me an upgrade which really added to the value of this hotel. The grounds are beautiful and there are so many things to do. The weight room is good enough for a nice pump and sweat. The breakfast was very good. I wish I had more time here. I would come back for sure.
