It was a truly perfect stay from start to finish.

Just on the way to the airport after staying two weeks here! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The rooms are lovely great comfy bed and spacious. Room was cleaned beautifully daily.

We had a 5 night stay booked here but only managed 1 night as a tree came through our roof! The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout and we were put up at a nearby hotel.

This was a perfect hotel for our stay in Puerto Viejo. The hotel is located a little outside the main city area, but we rented bikes for the week from a place down the street.

We stayed here on Saturday for one night. It was amazing, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the things we wanted to do and the places we should try.

It has been years since my last visit to Costa Rica, and though I only stayed one night at La Prometida, it left an indelible mark.

We've had a lovely week at this gem. Well maintained with a truly welcoming vibe.

I Love this place! The rooms are incredible, surrounded by nature and so the pools. The breakfast was very good too. And Lauri is really nice.

NAMU hotel and spa was absolutely wonderful! It was even more gorgeous than the photos online. The bungalow with a private pool was beautiful.

Wonderful resort. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms are excellent. They can set up activities in the area through an agency that they know and trust.

It's been a couple years since my visit but this is a beautiful little hotel that's a short walk from some great activities.

A lovely happy hotel in a happy small town. Staff are fantastic. Local people are fantastic. Nearby beach and park are lovely. Local restaurants serve great food. You can be lively or chilled. Enjoy.

This is a must stay hotel! The cleanest hotel that we stayed in on our trip to Costa Rica (We stayed in about 11 hotels total) Super clean and beautifully landscaped.

Peaceful and relaxing, it was a wonderful 3-day experience! The boat trips and the national park visit were excellent with our fantastic guide Daniel, thanks to whom we saw many different species!

Lovely relaxed accommodation with a beautiful deck overlooking the river and right in the centre of town. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable with air conditioning.

Beautiful, small, quiet boutique hotel. It was a short walk to the beach and we loved being able to walk along the beach to Manzanillo. Most of the menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was delicious.

Set in a stunningly beautiful location in a lush tropical forest, with amazing food and luxurious rooms. Lots wildlife. Miles of warm Caribbean beaches just next to the hotel.

Enjoyed the place very much. The area is magical and far enough away from buzzing tourists.

Beautiful grounds… rooms are simple but clean. Service from all staff including breakfast delivery was excellent. Away from some of the vendor chaos closer to town.

That was the best stay we had during our trip to Costa Rica. Casa Mambo is sorrounded by a paradie garden so we were able to spot many colorful animals and enjoy the constant sound of the nature.

Very friendly and cosy place : Julien, the owner, takes very good care of his clients and cooks home-made breakfasts every morning.

Highly recommended! The staff is super friendly, and the garden was beautiful and well kept. The swimming pool was just the right size, and the house had everything we needed.

Again we had the most wonderful time with Patricia and her staff. The staff is incredible nice and helpful. Definitly the nicest place in town, hope to go there again next year.

Host was very welcoming and helpful even though I didn't speak a lick of spanish. Extremely convenient (within walking distance) if you are visiting the cahuita national park as well.

We loved this place! What a gorgeous garden! We stayed in one of the studio Thai houses; the architecture is stunning and the room beautiful. Clean and cozy with fresh air rolling through.

Our family had a wonderful time staying in Lanna Ban Hotel. We feel very safe and welcomed. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, walking distance from the center of Puerto Viejo. However, we had an issue upon arrival.

Fun place to stay. It’s small but very well designed. The bathroom is the same size as the room if you need extra storage. The pool is saltwater and perfect. Every one here is super nice.

We had a wonderful family stay here. So relaxing and peaceful. Great yoga room/gym and perfect location for visiting Cahuita national park. Maria Beatrice is the best hostess.

Absolutely loved our stay at la Rana. Beautiful jungle huts with private kitchens, great pool, nice breakfast prepared by the host Nicolas.

I has a great stay. My bungalow was perfection. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedding was great and the bed was comfortable. The deck and pool area was heaven.

I have now stayed at the aWa Beachfront Hotel for the second time, and once again it was an absolutely beautiful experience.

From the moment we arrived, the owner, Silvio, was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautifully maintained, with stunning grounds and an incredible pool.

An incredible place to stay. On way to our beautiful room saw a sloth, tree frog on the path and toucan in the tree. A couple of minutes from the door to the beach with bars, cafes and a little gym.

I had an amazing stay here during my April trip. The breakfast was delicious, rooms were nice/ clean, and the location was very safe and convenient! I was able to walk to most things.

This place was perfect for my wife and I. We stayed two nights here as part of our honeymoon and my only regret is not booking more nights. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable.

What a gem. We had been to the restaurant a few times and loved it. The hotel is great. Only 5 rooms total. Each has two double beds. Bathroom is generous.
