Casa Marbella was a perfect destination for us. The room was big and cozy with a large bathroom and high pressure shower. Awesome! The beds were super comfortable. We slept extremely well. No noise at night other than the wildlife. Breakfast was included and coffee is ready before 5:30am for early risers and for people taking the morning boat tour. The terrace is lined with comfortable chairs facing the massive estuary. This terrace taught us the value of going slow while traveling… sometimes sitting still allows you to see much more than moving around. We saw the Turrialba Volcano spewing clouds of vapor, a massive flock of Oropendolas, and were blessed to see bottle nose dolphins coming in and going out from the Caribbean. The Caribbean is less than a 10 minute walk from the door. It's dark volcanic black sand and waves. The perfect nesting ground for 4 types of turtles. There is also a seemingly endless trail that runs parallel to the beach. Also full of animals during the day and the night. Daryl and his staff were happy, knowledgeable and super friendly. It was the perfect place tucked into the magic of Tortuguero.

We had a great stay in Casa Marbella. The owner is very kind and is more than willing to help and advice you for a great stay in Tortugero. The B&B is located on the river site of Tortugero. So a great place to relax and have a drink with a nice view over the river and the boats passing by. We saw a wonderfull sunset from the B&B terras, colouring the sky. I can really recommend this B&B if you are looking for a B&B in the centre of Tortugero on a nice river site location.
