We had a cozy room right near the pool, and everything was clean on the beautifully manicured property.
The service was impeccable from the first greeting at the dock with pretty and chilled beverages and shoe cleaning station, through each adult beverage and delicious meal. It was really convenient that they offered laundry service on property. So much fun relaxing in the rocking chairs on the dock! The only annoyance during the stay was the cute resident dog barking outside our door at 6am. But totally recommend this lodge for a relaxing laid-back cozy clean stay where they make you feel welcome and comfortable from start to finish.

Very nice cabins. Was cool to be able to hear the wild life around you at night. Saw some raccoons, monkeys, and many iguanas.

Immersed in the jungle and in contact with nature. Pool A little bit small but comfortable. Not a good meal.

I put 5 stars, for the first time I think. Not for golden taps, but for the location in the wilderness, and comfortable bungalows where the windows have mosquito nets as a window, which allows you to fall asleep with the sounds of the rainforest. The transfer to the hotel is very well run, and the Guide (Eddy) that accompanied us during the excursions organized by the lodge was very competent and really nice.

Very nice room in a small hut. Any Restaurant but not not bad. Great garden with lots of animals. And thanks to Lilly, extra guide!

Saw a Three-Toed Sloth 10' away, monkeys in treetops, above gorgeous wooden walkways and beautiful bungalows. Nature visited luxuriously.

In the rain forest fronting the lagoon. I expected rain in a rain forest and was not disappointed. Some covered walkways, pleasant individual cabins, no a/c but cool. Food ample and unexeptional, staff as friendly as ever, and guides knowledgable.

It was very pretty and filled with plants. The food was alright, and everything was cosy in the rain.

It's my second day, an ideal place to relax, and have fun… If you want peace and tranquility.

Super cute … san jose get a special bus pass to a private place in guapiles, it is called the ceibo, and there is a tree ceibo tree of 400 years old, from san jose to the rest of the ceibo where breakfast is hour and a half … there have lunch following and then take a speed boat on the way stop to see animals, boat is an hour and san jose until where the boat is taken like 2 hours maybe a little more because for 15 km the road is gravel not paved … can't go in a car because when you take the boat you have to put out there the transport that came … the three hotels are hermosisimos as they are in the middle of nature so the costs are very high … the friendly staff and the bathroom excellent privacy super.

What a privilege to have stayed here in the midst of nature. Our lodge was very beautiful and clean, I loved the feeling that you are sleeping in open air. Waking up from the howler monkeys in the tree next to our lodge and the birds singing their songs. Such a wonderful experience. Be sure to take a boat tour around the Tortoguero National Park, chance is you will see many animals.
