Every detail of this magical hotel was thoughtfully curated. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Every time we left our room, housekeeping came to give us new sheets, make the bed, sweep, mop, re stock our towels, give us new robes and top off our organic shampoo and conditioner. It was a dream. The room service and service at the restaurants was quick and efficient. They taught us some Spanish while we were there too :) They wrote down recommendations for local restaurants downtown Puerto Viejo. Everything was done so well. They literally have their own scent for the hotel. It smells so good just walking around that we had to buy the scent at the gift shop before we left. The yoga and massages that they offer are incredible and make you feel extremely relaxed. You have the best of both worlds— the beach and the jungle. AND the wildlife is gorgeous. The birds are bright and tropical and the sloths are incredible when you spot them! My wife and I went for our honeymoon and felt like we had enough privacy but also felt like we could bring our kids in the future if we wanted to. Everything is SO well done. Also— shout out to the front desk for arranging travel and excursions for us and for answering my billion questions before we even got there :) If you’re able to take a private plane from SJO I’d highly recommend Prestige Wings. They got us there safe and it saved us a whole day of driving time. Thank you aguas claras! — the trillings.

An experience like no other, the service and attention to the fullest, a magical place but in every sense, my first trip to old port and I really do not know how to explain it, really wonderful that would be the word, thank you very much to the hotel staff for so nice attentions that really makes you come back and it is more not wanting to leave!

Amazing hotel, a decent place to feel relaxed, architectural beauty and memorable décor, should improve in the
Cooking because the waiting times for breakfast are not justifiable for a small number of customers who at the time were.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days and had such a nice time. The staff is extremely thoughtful and the food is excellent. We also saw many sloths, birds, monkeys, and more on the hotel grounds. The atmosphere here is just lovely and we would definitely stay here again.

Will be one on the best places to stay in Puerto Viejo, you can walk to the beach.

I loved it two years ago. And I wanted to go this year after Christmas but it's in renovation and now I don't know what to do.

A tropical paradise. Comfortable, accessible and safe. The only thing Q would add is air conditioning. Very good choice.
