Pacuare Outdoor Center Hotel

This POC trip was so far above my expectations. I can't say enough good things. I knew the country would be beautiful and that the adventure activities would be fun, but it was the POC staff that made the experience truly special for my 19 yr old daughter and I. We loved rafting in the big waves on the Pacuare River and flying through the jungle on the ziplines. Staying at the POC lodge on the river, with the beautiful views and wonderful sounds of rainforest birds, was magical. We can't wait to go back!

I went to Costa Rica with my high school for a service trip. The Pacuare Outdoor Center made my experience unforgettable and a second family.

Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect. I saw the itinerary and was excited about all of the activities listed. Still, it was a new country for me. I was blown away by the hospitality, the knowledge, the safety, and how much fun all the activities were. These guys were top notch! I would love to write about all, but I don’t read long reviews. Best thing I can say is you won’t be disappointed. I had so much fun and can’t wait to do it again!

It was just an amazing experience.

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The rooms are lovely, the views from anywhere in the lodge are spectacular, and the staff are warm, friendly and accommodating. I would go for the lodge alone, but add in the whitewater rafting in the Pacuare river and the naturaleza of Costa Rica in general, and you have the trip of a lifetime.

Best adventure trips! If rafting, rappelling, ziplining, waterfall-canyoneering, a Tarzan swing!, hiking, and nature immersion are among your loves, POC can’t be beat. The people are fantastic, the place is idyllic, and they will custom build your experience. Trip of a lifetime!

We had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful facility for a few days. The accomodations we great and the views were breath taking! ❤️. Staff were all very friendly and great to chat with, look forward to planning a trip back.

Hotel quality good safe and very cozy place.

I absolutely love the POC and all the staff that I was able to meet: Luigi, TOM, Kiki, Henry, Arturo, and of course the very talented José who is training as a full time rafting instructor! They all cook you breakfast, take you rafting, zip lining, hang out with you, laugh with you and really are the most wonderful people. The POC itself is incredible and with incredible views of the mountains and the Pacuare River. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Incredible adventure with amazing attention to details. Some of the best guides I've ever worked with full of knowledge about country and nature. Logistics, lodging and staff truly 5 stars! Can't wait to return in April!

Must visit! You raft in on the beautiful Pacuare River to stay at this secluded jungle paradise! Incredible rooms and views of the gorge!

This place was absolutely breathtaking. We took our three kids 13, 10 and 8 down the Pacuare River and stayed here overnight. What a magical place. The rooms were so nice. Comfortable. Clean and what I would give a 5 star.

Great resort to chill and lose yourself… Hidden Gem in the dense rainforest.
Great food and hospitality by all staff… Close to river and dependant on water levels, a great place to take a dip.

Reserve Dos Montanas! Best view and close to the main hall. Went with a group and LOVED it. Great memories and great rafting!
