Excellent Stay at Taipei Sunny Hostel!
Our recent stay at Taipei Sunny Hostel was absolutely wonderful, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei.

Great stay!
Pros:
— Very good location — walking distance to the metro, near 711/Family Mart, near lots of breakfast spots, parks, and museum.
— Friendly and accomodating staff.

We stayed in one of the standard double rooms. The hostel is conveniently located near the airport metro, the main station, and the historical Dihua Street, which is a significant advantage.

A very nicely maintained, clean and cool hostel. I took the solo room with shared washroom and was pretty happy with my stay.

Honestly one of the cleanest hostels I’ve stayed in in Asia. Staff was very helpful, responsive to email. Bathrooms were spotless. No bad smells. Linens were clean and big towels are free.

The staff were kind, and I was given the option to check in late, which I really appreciated.

Hands-down the best service I've received from such a budget-friendly hostel.

Fantastic location, just a few steps from the main train station which is perfect with luggage. The hostel isn't cheap (Taiwan prices) but it is super clean and comfortable.

I had a great stay during my time in Taipei with the hostel. The toilets are clean and I love the layout of the capsule. Everyone is kind and super friendly.

Cleanest Hostel I‘ve ever been to. Especially the showers and bathroom. Communication is great, the walkable area is also great. There even is a cute little balcony.

Quiet area and place. Really appreciate that there's a coffee shop down the hostel. Very close to the train station as well.

A hostel with 5-star hotel service! But seriously — Nena and Ting Ting were above and beyond friendly and kind and made me feel so welcome! I was absolutely impressed with their hospitality.

I stayed here for one night business trip, and its location, just a short walk from Taipei Main Station, was perfect.

We got a private room with no window and it was good value for the price. The common area is nice with kitchen facilities.

Booked a 2-day stay. Clean and have cold & hot shower. Spacious room. They have common kitchen where they let me stay before check in. Good for solo travelers.

Small but cosy and well equipped room. Amazing location around great places to eat and hang out, cafes, shops and bars close by alongside metro and some landmarks for tourists.

— I was able to leave my luggage before check in and after check out.

Good for the price! The room is super tiny, but enough room for 1 person. I like how there is a big window facing the street, so it doesn’t feel too claustrophobic. The front desk agent was nice.

Great location. The room is old and many impractical features. There is no hand rail or shelves in the bathroom. Small room is difficult to manage suitcase.

This place really became my home in Taipei. Spent two weeks here in the female dorm room. The rooms are clean and built to match the backpackers needs.

Here’s the pros and cons after a 3 days 2 night stay:
✅ PROS:
— Near the train stations.
— Comfortable bed.
— Walking / Cycling distance to museums and attractions.
— Wallet friendly.

Highly recommended accommodation. It’s in a great location, has free breakfast, and has free tours. The rooms are comfy but nothing special. They accept card or cash.

Located near yanping nan road, just exit ximending station 4 and walk 6 min to the hostel. The room is double bunk bed and can choose upper or lower bed when making the booking.

I’m giving this a 5-star rating because the stay matched my expectations perfectly for the price point.

Generally the room, toilet and public area are clean but small.

IMPORTANT: Reasonable price, accommodating staff, and very strategic location especially if you don't want to stay in crowded areas like Ximending but can still access the Taipei Main Station easily.

Very close to Taipei Main station. Check in a check out is on the 4th floor through a machine which didnt work. Both check in and check out didnt work!

This hotel is value for money. Strategic location near Taipei main station, friendly and helpful staff. Room is big enough for packing luggage. Though is sharing toilet, it is very clean.

I read the reviews before booking and I would say my overall experience was better than expected.
The location is conveniently beside M8 exit of the station.

I like my quick stay here.
Men are separate from women rooms.
The shower room can get messy because of water spills when taking a bath. Toilet has no buttgun/bidet.
No free towel but you can rent.

This is a good option for solo travelers who want an affordable stay in Taipei but don’t want to stay in hostels to maintain personal privacy.

Good location. The hotel is very close to station. And there are some stool around hotel so you can eat something quickly and easily. Staff is also very good. They may give you warm hospitality.

This is a pretty cute little hostel. It has a water filter and they said fourth floor has laundry but I didn't use it. The ac in the rooms is strong, but there is only fans in the common areas.

Easy access to. Taipei Main Station and eateries nearby. Wholesale market downstairs allows convenient shopping for daily groceries. Helpful staff. 24hr front desk.

Very good location. Staff are accommodating. Rooms are clean. Do not inspect for a quiet environment because the price is affordable and cheaper than other accommodation.

Great enough for the value. We got 2 rooms good for 7 persons for around Php 3, 000 only per night. You can self check in, but the staff are still very accommodating. Drinking water is available.

Very good value budget hotel. Great location for Ximending and restaurants… Clean rooms, good shower. Kettle, Hot water for tea… TV, comfortable bed. Nice staff, really helpful.
