Stayed for 5 nights in a.
Double deluxe room with window.
Pros — self check-in and check-out was efficient. I like it that they issued me with 2 door cards.
Reception and housekeeping staff were very polite.
Room was big, especially the toilet.
Close to XIMENTING. Walking distance to Ximen, Bimen and Taipei main station.
I use Bimen Station more as it is less crowded. Use this station if you are taking the train to Taoyuan Airport instead of Taipei Main station.
Cons — not sound proof. Can hear almost everything outside / next door.
No daily room cleaning service although you can request for change of towels.
Reception lobby abit messy.

You get what you paid for. The place is near to almost everything. The check in and check out is efficient. Just note that when you stay for multiple dates that they dont change the sheets. You need to request to change the towel, which they will. You also need to request for room cleaning. Still ok since it is expected since its a budget hotel. Water pressure is good, hot and cold was consistent.

Let’s just say you get what you pay for. It’s cheap for its location and the room is expectedly rudimentary.
What I did not expect, however, was to see a huge cockroach at the far end of the room the moment I entered. I was so creeped out, I left immediately to ask for a change of room.
The staff assisting me at check in was kind enough to promptly switch me to another room — unfortunately it was the room next door but it looked clean and spotless enough, so I didn’t make a further fuss.
He also asked me where I spotted the cockroach, so I presumed he was gonna do something about it. I obviously did not stay on to verify whether or what he did.

Great enough for the value. We got 2 rooms good for 7 persons for around Php 3, 000 only per night. You can self check in, but the staff are still very accommodating. Drinking water is available. Rooms are being cleaned everyday and you can ask for new towels.
They also let us check in early since there are available rooms and even upgraded us to a bigger one. They also have laundry service. And for affordable shopping, Net store is just on the first floor.

Very good value budget hotel. Great location for Ximending and restaurants… Clean rooms, good shower. Kettle, Hot water for tea… TV, comfortable bed. Nice staff, really helpful.
Can't beat it for the money. Cheapest rooms have no window.

Location is near Ximen market and about a 15 min walk away from Taipei main station. Room is somewhat small but bathroom is spacious. The only qualm that I have is the ventilation after showering may not be the greatest. Other than that it’s a pretty decent hotel and very affordable. Staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. Paid laundry service on site but have to provide your own detergent. Definitely recommended!
