I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and can’t recommend it highly enough.

We stayed here for 2 nights between Christmas and New Year and this hotel is now my favourite in Taipei. Easily the most comfortable bed, pillows and shower I have experienced at any hotel anywhere.

We stayed there for 3 nights in Jan and our stay was amazing! We were warmly welcomed by the friendly and polite hotel staff. They even had a little gift for my sister whose birthday was a week ago.

We chose the Okura Prestige as our base for eight nights exploring northern Taiwan. It's centrally located right next to Zhongshan Station on the red MRT line.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Proverbs Taipei.
The room (deluxe king) was great. The size is spacious for central Taipei. The floor to ceiling windows let in a lot of light.

Hotel Proverbs: hidden gem in the heart of Taipei. Walking distance to major subway line. Service: utmost attention to detail. My wife and I were amazed by the sundown service.

Stayed there for 6 months and the stay was really comfortable and convenient.

Stayed for about 6 days, 5 nights in December 2025.
I will say the best part is that their beds are extremely comfortable, especially if you prefer a firmer bed.

Regent exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The service and hospitality at this well kept hotel are top notch.

Location, location, location. Regent is right in the center of everything a first-time visitor would want to explore in Taipei.

We stayed here as a family of three on a trip with my parents. The hotel was very clean, and the room was spacious, allowing us to enjoy a comfortable stay throughout our four days and three nights.

Great hotel with good size modern rooms. The spa facilities were great although they operate on a male and female basis. Good pool and great breakfast.

Very clean, smells great. Modern styling. Beds very comfortable and sheets very clean. Liked how there are robes and slippers. Bathroom is very clean, water strong and can get very hot.

It's a very nice hotel. Upon arrival at the lobby, we had a very good welcoming experience. Staffs are friendly and polite.

We’ve always stayed at the Regent on our previous trips, but this time we tried Royal Nikko next door — and we were genuinely impressed. In fact, we found the service even better than Regent.

This hotel is true old fashioned luxury…
I booked a last minute trip to Taipei for a week stay and looked at many hotels. This was a really good price, found on Expedia.

The hotel is just about a 3 min walk from Taipei Main Station and is adjacent to Q Square.

Update: the concierge, Rachel, provided excellent service. She went above and beyond to recover funds that had been eaten by a laundromat machine, exceeding all expectations.

It was our 2nd wedding anniversary and we're so glad to have spent it in Taiwan. Our stay at the hotel added to the already wonderful experience we were having.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and we didn't want to leave! Everything about the hotel was superb.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Grand Taipei. The food in the club lounge was great and it was really hard to pass while also trying to go out to sample the local foods.

TL;DR: Fantastic Stay for Families with Minor Suggestions.
The family rooms and the "Hand-in-Hand Land" (Playground) are fantastic; my child was thrilled just staying in the room.

Highly recommend! Great location, near to zhongshan, the train station and convenience stores just downstairs.
Value for money — room is of a decent size for the price, well lit and pretty clean too!

First when I arrived the hotel outlook don’t look Wow!
But after entering to 8th floor for check in.
The room is real neat and clean.

Had a great stay in this hotel. Rooms are clean and very advanced with smart toilet and remote control curtains. They also have espresso machine in the room for coffee.

I recently took my first trip to Taiwan, and I’m really glad I chose Tango Shilin as my accommodation. I love that the MRT station (Jiantan Station) is right in front of the hotel.

Great location — the hotel is situated directly above Wanhua Station, and it's also within walking distance to Longshan Temple MRT Station, offering easy access to the rest of Taipei.

Booked a triple room for 3 nights, the rooms are pretty spacious.

I love this hotel. It’s beautiful, classy, and friendly. Plus the bartender makes a perfect dry gin Martini (rare in these parts). Delicious breakfast. Lovely hot spring (aka hot tub).

Really great hotel! The rooms are nice and big. The king size bed is super comfortable. The area is quiet but is surrounded by several good neighborhoods, which in my opinion is ideal.

True to its name, the Grand Hotel is grand in design and size.

I only stayed here for one night, but overall it was a surprisingly nice experience. Personnel is really nice and welcoming, the room is well equipped, the bed is comfortable.

Excellent and very comfortable room with superb location. Around 450m from the nearest Jiantan Station and about 400m from Shilin Night Market. Right opposite the hotel is a huge park, Qiangang Park.

An upgrade to the Holiday Inn Express proved a positive experience, meriting a 10/10 rating. My recently renovated room offered comfort and value, featuring a comfortable bed and pillows.
