Let’s start with the positives: nice old school decor, generally well maintained (except for some minor scratches on the furniture), and great staff — polite, patient and helpful.

This is my sixth time staying at this hotel, and I always have a wonderful experience. The room is quite spacious, and the bed is really comfortable.

Stayed there for 6 months and the stay was really comfortable and convenient.

Stayed for about 6 days, 5 nights in December 2025.
I will say the best part is that their beds are extremely comfortable, especially if you prefer a firmer bed.

Regent exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The service and hospitality at this well kept hotel are top notch.

Staff are very friendly and helpful! Room is very clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is in a location near Shuangcheng night market which has good street food selection.

I booked a last minute trip to Taipei for a week stay and looked at many hotels. This was a really good price, found on Expedia.

This is the third time we stay here. We love the location as it is near to eateries and mrt. We were greeted by a very friendly customer service staff Ms Laira Wang.

Sheraton Grand Taipei has usually been my first choice in Taipei, mainly because it’s often cheaper than W Taipei while still being under the Marriott umbrella.

It was our 2nd wedding anniversary and we're so glad to have spent it in Taiwan. Our stay at the hotel added to the already wonderful experience we were having.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and we didn't want to leave! Everything about the hotel was superb.

Update: the concierge, Rachel, provided excellent service. She went above and beyond to recover funds that had been eaten by a laundromat machine, exceeding all expectations.

Stayed here for a week and was pleasantly surprised at how much bigger the room was compared to other budget hotels I've stayed at. Big bed, desk, and a refrigerator to store your convenience store

A convenient location, very friendly staff. The hotel is in an old building, but itself has been refurbished and feels quite modern.

Great location — the hotel is situated directly above Wanhua Station, and it's also within walking distance to Longshan Temple MRT Station, offering easy access to the rest of Taipei.

Booked a triple room for 3 nights, the rooms are pretty spacious.

I only stayed here for one night, but overall it was a surprisingly nice experience. Personnel is really nice and welcoming, the room is well equipped, the bed is comfortable.

Excellent and very comfortable room with superb location. Around 450m from the nearest Jiantan Station and about 400m from Shilin Night Market. Right opposite the hotel is a huge park, Qiangang Park.

The room (deluxe king) was great. The size is spacious for central Taipei. The floor to ceiling windows let in a lot of light.

Had a great stay in this hotel. Rooms are clean and very advanced with smart toilet and remote control curtains. They also have espresso machine in the room for coffee.

I love this hotel. It’s beautiful, classy, and friendly. Plus the bartender makes a perfect dry gin Martini (rare in these parts). Delicious breakfast. Lovely hot spring (aka hot tub).

True to its name, the Grand Hotel is grand in design and size.

An upgrade to the Holiday Inn Express proved a positive experience, meriting a 10/10 rating. My recently renovated room offered comfort and value, featuring a comfortable bed and pillows.
