Amazing value for a 1-night stay! I booked a private room for my overnight layover in Taipei. It was very easy to get to from the airport via the airport express train + 20 minutes walk.

Best hostel I have every stayed in. Laoban is such a great guy, feels more like a friend than staff.

The room was good and tidy but small. Breakfast: they falsely labelled meat dumplings as vegetarian. The milk tea and orange juice are too sweet for my taste.

Service was legit very good! I told them I’ll be placing my luggage there for quite a while as I was heading out. They were so nice and helped me checked in our luggages. Very prompt response.

Location is great but no flushable toilet paper is painful. In unit laundry is nice (in unit dryer would have been even nicer).

I stay at this place whenever I visit taipei. 5-10 times already to date. It's more of a youth hostel than a hotel which is okay for me cos I stay alone.

While many tourists prefer staying in the Ximending area, we chose to book our stay at Silken Hotel in the Zhongshan District. And we’re glad we did.

I stayed there for 3 nights at room 305. The large window is good with sunlight coming in the morning. There is hardly noise although my room faces the road and a highway.

The hotel staff, especially Ms. Kai, are very friendly, kind, and nice. She is also knowledgeable about tourist attractions.

We enjoyed our stay, we were 8 guests with 2 rooms. The room assigned to us was bigger than the other even the bathroom.

Very close to Taipei Main station. Check in a check out is on the 4th floor through a machine which didnt work. Both check in and check out didnt work!

Dahshin is such a cozy and welcoming place. I really love the unlimited snacks available in their mini side-bar pantry—it’s a great touch.

Rooms were good enough. But I wish the bathrooms were clean more thoroughly as well as the other shared tools like hairdryer.

Located near yanping nan road, just exit ximending station 4 and walk 6 min to the hostel. The room is double bunk bed and can choose upper or lower bed when making the booking.

My husband and I stayed at OwlStay Flip Flop Hostel near Taipei Main Station for eight days and had a generally positive experience.

Cute hostel near Taipei main station and Taipei bus station. The hostel has very cool characteristics, decor is so hip. As usual, the room is small but it's worth the value that u paid.

Good budget hotel in the heart of Ximending, the building may look old but inside the hotel (level 10) is nice and clean. It also come with free snack bar.

Men are separate from women rooms.
The shower room can get messy because of water spills when taking a bath. Toilet has no buttgun/bidet.
No free towel but you can rent.

The check-in kiosk was very practical. The room was very clean. I love Japanese style toilet.

Visited Taiwan this week for a week. We stayed on higher floor. The rooms are comfortable and especially the staffs in front of the reception at night were very polite and provided excellent service.
