New Taipei City Hotels

I had my first night in Taipei and checked in quite late. Unfortunately, the bed was very soft and all the pillows were soft as well, which made it difficult for me to sleep comfortably.

Good location. The hotel itself has a good vibes and is so colorful, especially the lobby! However, the hallway is a bit dark so it's kinda scary at night, hope they make the light more brighter.

I was surprised to know that the hotel does not supply toothbrush, comb or Q tips but it seems to be a thing in Taiwan, but the hotel staff are friendly and the Receptionist Jordan helps me locate a

I asked for help from the pantry staff in the breakfast area to cut down five guavas that I had collected from the guava garden yesterday. He exceeded my expectations with his assistance.

Harmony Inn is in a great location if arriving by bus. Hidden behind Old Street you need to walk round the bend past 7/11. Walk up 50m and there are narrow stairs.

Lovely guest house which is conveniently located to Old Street tucked just off to the side. The room isn't big but it is comfortable enough, eith everything you could need and very clean and tidy.

Super friendly staff with prepared breakfast. Renovated room interior and super clean (requires you to leave your shoes in the lobby and wear slippers).

We chose a room with a window; not all rooms have this option. There's no elevator, and you can't flush toilet paper. The view from the roof is really nice.

This is the second time we stayed here. The staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable and all have air-conditioning. This Hotel is famous for their beef noddle's. We stayed here for 14 nights.

I didn't feel like I was trapped with such an amazing view of the courtyard. I couldn't hear the traffic outside. The beds were new and very comfortable.

Classiest hostel I’ve stayed at, feels like you’re walking into an expensive-ish hotel. Although check in took 20 minutes, front desk was very professional.

Such a beautiful place! Thoroughly enjoyed my time in Wulai and Spring Spa made it very comfy. It’s a bit of a walk to the old street but very peaceful and inviting.

Lovely little spa resort in Wulai right on the river. We opted for the rooms with onsen baths in the room, which was super nice, but the shared onsen is also lovely.

Clean and well maintained hotel. The room was spotless and facilities were modern. Daily breakfast was fresh and neatly presented. Great stay over all!

Great B&B place with delicious daily homemade breakfast. Location can be a little hard to find if it's your first time in the area so do drop the owner a call to arrange for pickup.

Its number 72, not number 70. If you see japanese-style furnishings, you are home.

Parking is not perfect but okay. Japanese style room with dryer for wet clothes is excellent. The remote location makes this place interesting. Welcome drink is a nice gesture of this place.

Had a wonderful experience here! Was expecting a smaller hotel room (being in Taiwan) and this was the largest hotel room I have stayed in out here.

Room for 4 is very comfortable. In the middle of Jiufen old street. Good to spend a night and have sufficient time to walk around to shop and eat.

The BnB we staying is good, the pathway to jiufen old street is very easy to accessible. We got bf serve to the room. Overall experience is wonderful.

I think this was our best choice here. The room was really comfortable at a prime location. It’s not inside the crowded but behind the aisle. It is quick turn into old street but still separated.

The room is the right size for three people. Bed is soft and the place is clean. The view is the best feature of this place. From above, you can see Jiufen and the sea.

This guesthouse is located in the Jiufen area. It is a little bit hard to find if you are the first time to visit here. It's better to call the host and ask him to lead you.

Location is great, especially if you use public transport. View is fantastic. Hotel looks old and kinda tired. We had ants in our room and spider net and mosquitoes.

Great hotel if staying in Wulai for 1 night! We loved that the room had our own hotspring in the bathroom. The view from the room outlooking the mountain was so beautiful.

I enjoyed the very clean Japanese-style public bath, NT$470, but didn't stay in the hotel. Location is very convenient near the center of Wulai.

Lovely quiet environment with beautiful surroundings. Room was a good size with a balcony where you can sit and chill.
The pillows were a bit too high and mattress slightly hard.

The sound insulation is very good, the air conditioner is very cool, and I have a good sleep.
The boss prepared a welcome gift, as well as drinks and snacks, which made the children very happy.
