Simple, basic hotel which was very close to Ximending and public transport. Staff were friendly and polite. The rooms are small but have everything. The shower was a bit run down, with a shower curtain used to replace the door which had obviously broken and the water would not drain properly, so had to be careful that it didn't overflow while showering. Rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily.
Its the most accomodating receptionist I have experienced in Taiwan. Its highly recommended place, near to night market and establishments. It's affordable but you'll get more what you have expected. It's seldom that a hotel will give free unlimited snacks 24 hrs a day to its customer. Hub Hotel in Ximen is so clean and tidy and I am proud to tell it to my to my family and friends. For sure they will not regret if ever they visit the place for I have experienced it myself. So what are you waiting for, come and visit Hub Hotel in Ximen, Taiwan.

We stayed at Ximen Hotel and overall it was a decent, no-frills place that gets the job done for a short trip. The service was genuinely fine — the staff were friendly and accommodating. They even brought us a fan for the room when we asked, which was a nice touch and helped on warmer nights. The beds are really firm (almost too firm for my liking), so if you prefer softer mattresses, you might want to keep that in mind. The walls in the room had quite a few scuff marks and could definitely use a good cleaning, which made the space feel a bit tired. It’s not luxury by any means, but it’s an okay hotel for the price. The real highlight is the location! There’s so much to see and do right within walking distance — shops, food, and attractions everywhere. That made up for the minor room issues and kept us out exploring most of the time. Would stay again if we just need a clean-ish base in a great central spot, but don’t expect perfection. Solid 3 stars.
