Stayed here 5 nights on an emergency trip to Hong Kong. The main selling point for me was the location. It is next to the Kowloon Tong subway line and the express train to Shenzhen. The subway also connects to Festival Walk, which is a huge mall with a grocery store and tons of restaurants, an ice skating rink and a movie theater. The hotel is bare bones, with very few services, extremely basic decor, and spotty Wi-Fi. When it works, you can stream Netflix but when it doesn't work, I have to call the front desk and ask them to do a reset. Good news is it's free! Very limited food offerings and no fridge or microwave in the room (but it's Hong Kong so you really don't need one). The bathroom is extremely large and has both a shower and tub. Room is reasonably clean and they refresh towels, slippers and sheets everyday (I wish they wouldn't, to save water! ). Beds are firm and comfortable and they offer a variety of pillows. Lights can be controlled from bed, which is super convenient. The cons: you need to be self sufficient or speak Cantonese. There is a 24 hr front desk but it's difficult to communicate. Don't stay here if you like to spend lots of time on your hotel room. Don't plan on eating in your room. The area is a school area so it's very quiet at night, especially for a metropolitan city.
