Hotel rooms are good. Food is delicious and lots of variety. But overall service is very poor. Location also something difficult to reach.

One of the good budget three star hotel in Hong Kong's Kwaloon area, out of the bustles of city markets. Amenities, ambience and rooms are good, room services are also good. In hotel varieties of descent restaurants and bars are available. Buses are available next door for most of the Hong Kong district markets. I'm a pure vegan so very few options are available in the area therefore I went to 'Indian Curry King' the nearest option available 500 yards away of hotel. Menu doesn't have much option but whatever vegan were available were decent.

Please do not stay at regal oriental. The rooms are good. But the location is not. Also the staff including the house keeping and the waiters during the buffet breakfast not at all cooperative. Only if you plan staying in Club room meaning executive rooms then stay as we did. Otherwise a big NO.

Good hotel to stay but location far off. However, good connections thru bus stop nearby. Vegetarian food option is almost remote. Staff at reception and concierge are very good and provide good guidance for moving within the city.

Room is rather spacious and has lots of seats (esp. The ledges, thats a good point). However, room often has heavy smoke smell even though we are not on smoking floor.

The rooms inside this hotel was covered in mold. It looks as if no one had cleaned the rooms properly in ages. A few years ago I stayed in this hotel and it was amazing. Assuming that it was the same I booked at this hotel again when we visited Hong Kong again. I was very disappointed when I returned there. The rooms are somewhat similar to what it looks like in the pictures. They look much bigger in the photos they advertise, than what they look like in real life. Overall, my stay at this hotel for a few nights were not pleasant, I do not recommend anyone stay here. It is expensive and definitely not worth your money.

Today, too many people eat, full of elders in the grab food, employees are good professional, constantly add food, and constantly clean, because the elderly in the robbery, the week is food.

Room rate of 930 Hong Kong dollars/night, counter staff said the rooms rose to the 14 floor, the result of the elevator only to the 13 floor still have to walk a small section to the room. One door room pattern is not square, equipment part old did not update sofa chair also broke, iron also bad, bath supplies less than the site said to provide brand-name bath supplies (l ' Occitane), continuously by the next door home penthouse dog barking harassment two nights.

The hotel is situated in the middle of Kowloon City and provides easy access to all the attractions and markets of Hongkong. It also has multiple restaurants, which provides a great variety for travellers from across the globe. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The hotel is also a prominent landmark so those with language problems can find their way to it easily from anywhere in the city.

The buffet food is just fine. Only few choice of salad. The desert is fine but the hot dishes were quite disappointed. If I have to pay the full price, I will have better choice. However, moat of the guests have different discount and I will accept the comprise food quality.

Used to be very good now just "good enough". Quality of service dropped over the years, including quality of rooms. Breakfast used to vary a lot in the assortment from day to day buy now it's the same all the time — and it shrunk too. Rooms used to be good at executive club floors but now are with smell of smoke and water damages. Bar used to be fun and lively with darts in it, however now it's boring and menus became boring and fairly plane. As for alcohol — it feels like there was some water added to the whiskey (not at all the same bite as the dame whiskey I have at home).

This place has been degrading since every visit. Last two times, I had to switch rooms twice upon arrival, due to cigarette smoke or mold in the roof os water damage. Furniture is degrading even on the "renovated" floors. Floor 12-14 are executive club floors, supposedly highest standard and the only ones I've stayed at. Cleaning is often good but varies. Personnel very helpful. Breakfast so-so, also degrading. Restaurants and bars are degrading and fewer people attend. You can find much better places than this!

Very nice hotel, restaurants very busy lunch time but food good, service ok. Not easier place find your way around.

Parking staff and front desk staff are very friendly, the room is cleaner than other hotels, and the hotel does not provide cotton and rods, some rooms should be refurbished bathroom early!

The hardware is good and the service is fair. The air conditioner in Hong Kong is really wonderful, remember to ask for more blankets in winter.

The hotel is really nice. It's located in an under developed area but just about half an hour from the harbour. They serve international breakfast and there is also the possibility of having lunch or dinner in one of the restaurants inside the hotel's building. Rooms are well furnished and with modern bathrooms. The downside is that there's no heating which is a problem in chilly winters.

Not so bad if you are having a small budget. The breakfast is reasonable nothing great. Rooms are moderate in size. Amenities are well supplied. The oddest thing is they charge you 10 hkdollars if you leave a bag at the concierge. So this service is pretty disconcerting.

He has the basics. It is comfortable and affordable prices. Location somewhat far away but there is constant transportation at all hours.

For breakfast There was also something for me. I can't open the window, man.

Hotel was ok. Mattresses are hard as rocks so will need to put extra duvet under bottom sheet to get a comfortable nights sleep. Rooms are small but nice. Has small fridge but not the coldest. Lack of English speaking people in client liaison positions. Hotel facilities not explained upon arrival.

Hotel is decent. Only thing is it's too far from everything. Theres a good dim sum restaurant close by though, we ate there almost everyday.

The hotel is okay but the area is really run down. We got booked into a room which was accessable with two flight of stairs… Not ideal when you have a 2 year old and a baby stroller and the icing on the cake was that they charge to bring your luggage into your room. Took them 2 days before we got the room at a lower level… Apparently they were overbooked. The staff at the service desk are rude and were hesitating to assist with our situation. Never booking here again. Don't take the breakfast option, it is not nice!

One of my worst experiences ever. I was staying there to attend an engineering conference and I had to move out the hotel after my first night there. HORRIBLE Here's my experience: 1) Very rude staff at front desk. 2) Rooms are terribly unclean with molds in every corner. The windows are dusty as hell, you can barely see anything outside! 3) Bathroom requires extensive cleaning. Water comes out literally BLACK with tiny stones. 4) The hotel is situated in a very remote area with no walking-distance from the MTR (metro) 5) They refused to refund ANY amount out of the 10 nights (~1500US$) although we only stayed for 1 night. I recommend you to avoid this place like the plague. It was a nightmare, even for one night = (

We had a very relaxing stay at our hotel room the staff are very accomodating especially the Duty Manager Mr Ivan Fong, they prepared a birthday cake for my daughter that made our stay extra special, they even upgrade our room for free. Kudos to the staff and I will definitely recommend the hotel to my friends.

Regal consistently provides mediocre service across the board. A great place to meet up with friends if you pay no attention to the food. The staffs were attentive because there wasn't much else to attend to. Don't mean to be sarcastic here, I meant it, its a great place to catch up.

First night, I stayed in a superior room which was really nice, great view and quiet. The next nights was spent in a standard room. The walls was missing some paint and near the floor it was really dirty. Otherwise nice beds and fresh bathroom. If they offer a good price for a better room than the standard ones, I suggest you go for that one. No desks in standard room, just bed and bathroom.

Room and bed quality was reasonable, though I wish the windows weren't frosted and without a view. The shower was difficult to handle at first, but after the first time, it was easy to use. Cleaning quality was good.

Friendly professional staff and the hotel charges are light on the pocket. I was surprised to find Indian cuisine being served for breakfast. Hotel is well maintained and looks premium.

Decent hotel. Strategically located when it was operating the old Kai Tak Airport.

Centrally located, and supermarkets are accessible. However the hotel itself is quite old. No swimming pool. Decor needs a bump up. Breakfast spread was awesome. Great options for Indian and veg food once you discover where they are.

I was greeted by friendly staff who speak fluent English. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to one of the top floor suites where all the rooms have been revamped. Just marvelous. Fast Internet. Great air-conditioning and smart bathroom. I enjoy the location of this Hotel because it sits on one of the Bus lanes that link the whole city. From here you can walk to a wide selection of restaurants and small shops. The breakfast can do with a better selection but its OK for the money. The Pub in the foyer is a great place to eat and drink although a bit pricey. Rather walk accross the road and eat some authentic Chinese food. This Hotel is also close to a lot of Banks if you need cash.

Hongkong is a v nice tourist place. V stayed their for a week. But de locals of hk weren't at all coperative towards tourist. If v just bargue at Shopping centre or at stories, they will tell us to go Outlook of the story, in their language. D nexo thing is that de People there do not know english language. Dis 2 point a R only disadvantage of hk. Well REGAL ORIENTAL HOTEL is a vvvvvvgoodhotel with d Good Excelence of services, rooms, washrooms, breakfast. … it is at de centre of city nearer to malls, indian hotels (r at nxt road), bus stop.

Ben and Jeff at airport shuttle are very helpful. Old bell boy and driver are very helpful Reception desk seems unwelcome, no smile. The room is different to the one I booked. Should have a newer bathroom. Bath is blocked, basin leaks water.

I do really love the hotel, the rooms are spacious for me and the bed are comfortable. The bathroom is also good for me. The only thing I noticed is that from other hotels, they replace all the toiletries, with the number of people inside. But for us, they do not replace it. They just bring us back one. Overall, I thank the manager on duty (5/24/2016) for being so accommodating regarding the noisy room that we experienced due to a renovation being done. The buffet is really a good one! Enjoyed the food a lot! I really love the concept of noodles. I also love the shrimps! It was really tasty and fresh. The only comment was with the Japanese food (sushi and sashimi). The sushi is no longer fresh, the rice they used is not as good as I expected. The salmon that was given to me was cut just like a pork cut, it was too big! The lady who is assigned should be trained on how to cut it nicely. The tamago sashimi was not good, I think it was frozen or was made since yesterday. When I tried to squeeze it, a lot of water has come out and it does not even taste fresh.

I've stayed at regal oriental hotel many times over the years and have found it very comfy due to the large rooms and comfy beds, which are rare in hk. It is situated in kowloon city which is bit out of the way of tourist attractions, and the nearest MTR station is lok fu which is about 20mins walk away. It's a lot more convenient to take the buses of which there are a large number to effortlessly take you almost anywhere in hk, for example, the air bus A22 takes you directly here from the airport. Ask the staff at the front desk, who are very helpful and knowledgeable about which bus to take to where ever you wish to go. The hotel also offer a shuttle service to the airport, although it comes at a cost of 1xx HKD per person. The rooms are big and clean, although bit dated now, but they still do the job, and in general are big enough to squeeze for people in to, for example, the twin rooms have two large beds which 4 people could sleep on (2 on each bed). Although having stayed here so many times over the years have noticed that they have started skimping on things, for example although they provide complimentary kettle with coffee and tea in the room, they no longer provide lipton English breakfast tea and supply jasmine tea, also there is no longer a shaver socket in the bathroom. Small annoyances but they mean a lot to you. There is a fridge and free toiletries in the room and you can request for more if required.

The room we got was a rather old room with a terrible toilet. The commode was blocked and filled with human excreta. The bathroom in its totality needs repair, or at least proper cleaning. The staff at the front desk are not very friendly. Be prepared to wait quite a bit if you have to go to the reception for anything.

Can we stay another week? Excellent from arrival to departure, shuttle bus to the hotel on time, on reaching the hotel we were upgraded to an Exective club room, "very nice". Breakfast on last day was superb, and check out was so easy. Now waiting for the shuttle bus back to the airport. For me the location is brilliant, just a 450M walk and bus no 9 to Star ferry, another 450M walk and bus 107 to Ocean park, outside of the hotel minibus M25 to Kowloon Tong mtr station & the final day another 450M walk and bus no 16 to Olympic mtr station then mtr to Disneyland. Couldn't be much easier. Make sure you get your Octopus card at the Airport! Can definitely recommend this hotel.

I and my family enjoyed staying at this Hotel. Overall, the room is very big and comfortable, the bathroom also very nice and clean. Reception staffs was very helpful finding a room with good view for our family. Check-in and Out was quick. Location is not too for from Monkok and very close to the bus station.

The hotel was very efficient in answering enquiring that I have and I grealy appreciate that as this trip was the first trip my friends and I go on without our parents. Though the room itself is a little smaller than what the picture on the website showed, we still had loads of fun in it and it was a pleasant experience. However the check in staff on the day I checked in was a little unfriendly. For example the one that attended to me looked very cold and angry while the one beside who attended a japanese tourist blatantly say no in a rather rude manner to the guest when the guest ask if they have any staff that can speak japanese instead of being nice and polite to them. It was rather appalling because the first impression of the hotel staff was very good due to the prompt and polite replies to my enquiries but when we reached the hotel and interacted with the staff on ground, it did not really meet my expectation of good service staff. On the other hand the staff at the conceirge counter was very friendly and polite. I think that kind of behaviour and service really add to a pleasant guest experience and the check in staff that day should learn from him. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Thank you.

Nice hotel and near from my place to meet my bf.

Each trip to Hong Kong, we are all staying at Regal Oriental Hotel, hotel clean and tidy, though not close to the Metro, but the hotel entrance there are taxis and public light buses, traveling is very convenient. Near the hotel there are many Thailand food served in restaurants, shopping back in the evening, you can taste the authentic Thailand cuisine. The mother and daughter to Hong Kong, we booked superior room double bed, handsome receptionist saw the three of us, and especially for us to upgrade for the family room. This left for our trip to Hong Kong with a better memory.

Our hotel room was pretty comfortable and though water leaks in the toilet prompted us to change rooms, the staff were sensible enough to automatically upgrade our room, all within an hour. Staff at the concierge were knowledgable about the bus routes outside the hotel. Even though the hotel is not close to any MTR station, numerous bus services outside the hotel connect to Mong Kok, Central and other areas, though traffic jams during peak hours make the hotel's location undesirable. Also, there are plenty of cafes around the area and even a McDonald's. Staff we encountered were quite friendly as well. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Like Indian breakfast from chef Manuel, specially south Indian and Gujrati food. Which gave us a homely feeling. And I would also like to tell about the room size which was not expected from such hotel.
