This hotel is absolutely amazing. The hotel surprised us with a birthday cake and wine to celebrate my partners birthday and the next night sent up another bottle of wine and fresh fruit. The staff are super friendly and the room is very spacious and modern. We have stayed at a few hotels in Hong Kong on our travels and no other hotel compares to the hospitality and friendliness that we have received whilst staying at the Royal Plaza.

Many years ago, I held my wedding dinner in Christmas at Royal Plaza. Many thanks for Karen Fok’s arrangement. I had a very memorable night with my family to recap the old days and enjoy Christmas holidays.

The room was big with two queen beds and the bathtub had an anti slip mat on the floor of the bathtub. I had a room that was beside another room. On behalf of Royal Plaza Hotel, I loved your hotel very much.

We had a pleasant stay in this Royal Plaza Hotel during our trip in Hong Kong. Hotel was extremely clean and well-maintained. All staffs were very friendly and was always available to address any concerns we had. We will definitely consider staying here again on a future vacation. （Room 976) Mrs. Tong from New York.

Reception Staff is not as friendly as it used to be. Refurbishment is nice in general apart from the hallways to room is too dark, looks like someone is standing at the far end where there is not, spooky I would say. Our family room is great but under counter fridge is far too small, can't even put a round small birthday cake in. Room services staff is very polite and good at their job. Keep up with the good work!

A good hotel is conveniently located. There is one downside to eviction and eviction. This process is stretched for hours. Arriving at the hotel at 11am, we checked in, only 17:00. At the same time, they defended the queue. So is the eviction: 30 minutes stand in line. Pros: good breakfasts, attentive staff who speak English perfectly.

Excellant location close to all amenities. All staffs are very professional and super friendly especially Jourdan she is extremely considerate and check in is a breeze, in my comfy room in less than 5 mins and everything exceeded my expectation. We will come back to this hotel just for her she made us feel like home.

Nice hotel but in middle of no where. The food at the restaurant is quite good with wide variety. Breakfast spread was disappointing with no fresh juice options or tea options. Overall room was very comfortable and luxurious compared to other Hong Kong hotels. The bathroom was one of the largest I have seen at a Hong Kong hotel.

The staff service is great and always attentive to your requirements.

We stayed in the Club Lounge lovcated on floor 19. … The only poor comment I have is that this realy good hotel has only ONE bar, this would normally be ok.
However, during our stay of 7 days the 1st two evenings the bar was booked out to a private function. To aded to this dissapointment and as a keen Football fan, the third night when a W. Cup game was being televised in the bar they were charging £35 p/p entry.
I found this appalling as a Resident. After complaining that this was the only bar in the Hotel, they did allow us to enter F. O. C.
I dfid find that this was rather upsetting and did leave a bad taste for the rest of the evening. However, having said this, we were realy pleased with the staff and the way that they accomodated us.

The hotel lobby looks really nice and modern. The rooms itself were outstanding. The TV quality was good enough to watch the World Cup. The view was amazing and the windows looked like modern ones. The bathroom looked impressive. The bathroom had everything for hygiene. The hotel has a very large pool and a hot tub. They also had a buffet.

Our family of four live is home room, room is not too small, toilet is also very clean, adequate spare, there is a bathtub can take a bath, room every day to provide four bottles of water (every day to go out to remember away, Hong Kong water is very expensive AH).
The hotel is connected by a department store, some restaurants can dine, and the hotel itself offers a self-funded buffet (early booking will be cheaper than the scene). Check in will have a pre-brush HK $1500 action, if you do not use the consumer items (hotel buffet extra charge is not included in the pricing), the hotel will not be invited so the credit card bill will not have this detail, the hotel will not do extra brush withdrawal action.

It was very clean and they offered the benefit of not having your room cleaned for some credit to buy food. As a person who doesn't need their room cleaned everyday, it was a great way to get some free snacks! It is also in a prime location and with their great transit, you're able to get anywhere you like quickly. Would definitely stay at this hotel again for my next trip.

Very well. The fitness was good.

Though it looks elegant and well located hotel on internet, on the contrary it was difficult to access, busy and crowded. It does have four or five star kind of hotel amenities however because they have small lobby with almost no sitting capacity, we had to stand long for check-in and checkout. Not easy to walk-in and walk out from hotel as the access is pretty long. The station next to hotel goes to a metro line which you will not use for shopping or city. The closest station by walk is 10 minute though, so not that difficult. My kids were annoyed by swimming pool guard as he didn’t allow kids to play or enjoy time in swimming pool. I couldn’t take kids pics even anywhere around that area. It’s good if you want to be next to shopping mall but I wasn’t impressed much for what I paid.

High class hotel. Big rooms, nice staff. Very nice pool with warm water and an outside Jacuzzi. Very good gym. With dry and moist sauna. Located in the moko mall — expensive!

Nice hotel in the overall… the location on one side is (too) far from the center, but on the other side it is adjacent to a very nice mall and to local markets. The room is quite nice and elegant, but the breakfast is really disappointing.

Room is nice, clean and spacious. Love the built-in window seat, comfy beds. Bathroom has complete amenities and spacious too! Hotel personnel and housekeeping staff are quite friendly. Very fast Wi-Fi!

Second time staying here at this hotel. Great location and convenient to MTR (you don't even walk out to the street and it's all air con through to shopping centre and MTR) and connects to shopping mall. Rooms are clean, wish there was more space in the shower for our toiletries but only minor thing. Wanted to upgrade but the hotel was full. They offered us a higher level which was good. Beds and pillow are comfortable and the shower head has great pressure. Yes all the little things count for living in hotels for a week and the last leg before home.

The hotel is excellent, both the staff and the facilities are luxury. I had been to another hotel before HK and this hotel had everything I expected and more. The hotel has a connection to a mall and there you have the metro line. Definitely I recommend it.

A five-star hotel with nearly 700 rooms is quite large in Hong Kong. With a five-star scale, its rooms, environment and service are good. There are a variety of Chinese and Western restaurants on site, suitable for different customer tastes. For arriving visitors, if you do not want to eat at the hotel, there are other options. Because the hotel location is in the heart of Kowloon City, it is connected to Mong Kok Railway Station and its shopping malls, whether it is convenient to visit the company or eat. There are also many restaurants and restaurants in the mall, with different local dishes, more authentic Hong Kong cuisine, and a special focus on thrift. Also connected to the railway station, passengers are very much in the way of going anywhere in Hong Kong. It is particularly convenient to transfer cars if you are to the New Territories or Lo Wu (crossing the border to the Mainland of China). We had a three night stay at the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern. Room well appointed and bed comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. We spent a fair bit of time at the spa, pool and sauna too! There is also a shuttle bus you can catch to and from the Kowloon station for the airport. Very handy otherwise it is a three train change over and around 500m walk to the hotel. Only downside for us personally was the location as we found ourselves travelling around 30 each way to get to the main areas.

Good value and right in the middle of the action. If you don't mind walking then it's close enough to the main rail lines, especially the red line and Nathan road, or there is the light blue line right next to the hotel, in the MOKO shopping center. They have a simple system for corporate rates.

Had Omakase at Lion Rock for my anniversary 2 days ago. Food was great, chef was professional and funny, environment was cozy. Though it was not a traditional Japanese restaurant to enjoy omakase, my wife and I did enjoy the night. And it really worth it! Will back again soon (thank you chef Lo and his assistant)

Located as part of a large shopping mall, is also close to Mon Kok shopping area. Rooms of good size and quite modern. Hotel was refurbished a few years back. Can get quite busy with tourists. Railway station is located within mall so travelling around is easy. Service I've always found to be good. Hotel is clean and well maintained.

This hotel is the place to stay! The royal plaza employees are amazing. After discovering I had lost my jewellery box a team of hardworking individuals searched through the hotel eventually finding it. I am extremely pleased with my stay and only have positive comments to say about the hotel. Thanks Royal Plaza for the great stay!

One of the best hotels I have visited. Perfect rooms: Clean, spacious, with free internet both Wi-Fi and wired with RJ45. Breakfast buffet with a huge choice. The restaurant, also buffet is of quality. Chinese, Western and Japanese cuisine. There are also two other restaurants, one Chinese, one Japanese. Both excellent. The staff was very helpful Parking included in the price. Highly recommended to all.

There is a very strong perfume smell in the rooms. My boyfriend's throat hurt after leaving the hotel even though we were only there for half an hour. The overall decor is nice though.

Well located and great value for money. Drinking water, tea and coffee available. Comfortable beds. Staff are organized and available, friendly. Attached to the MOKO mall for easily accessible food, shopping and transportation options. A+++++

Good for the price. Elegant rooms, quite well sized considering the typical Hong Kong space constraints. Ideally positioned for tourists. The subway can be accessed directly from attached mall, although a short walk to the"red line" will be more efficient for most destinations. The beautiful flower markets and bird market is directly across the street, and accessable via a covered walking overpass. The breakfast was okay. Do check out the afternoon tea available on the 19th floor.

Booked the deluxe family room. Got upgraded to a grand plus. Big spacious room. Friendly staff. Quick to attend to our requests. Location is good too with a sheltered access to mongkok station.

A restoration would be much needed
5 Star Hotel… but that would really need a deep restoration. The rooms are old, the style is totally exceeded. The bathroom is not really worthy of a 5 * either, plus we were 3 and the toilets made available (shampoo, shower gel) was just for 2. On our journey we were in hotels in China which would have deserved 7 if we make the comparison. The situation is very good. Right next to a large shopping mall with shops and many restaurants. Not far from the subway.
The hotel's buffet restaurant is very good!

The hotel is in an extremely convenient location, there are several subway stations mere minutes away, a bus terminal right outside the attached mall complex, and a taxi stand next to that. The hotel, as mention earlier, is attached to the Moko mall which hosts stores from simple convenience stores to very high end shopping vendors. There are also several delectable restaurants within the mall. The hotel room itself is spacious and clean the staff is friendly and willing to help. Rooms are equipped with blackout curtains which has been put to wonderful use. Overall, this hotel very much met our high expectations.

The rooms on the lounge level are excellent and well furnished. The bed is well sized and the bathroom has it all. Loved the helpful staff and good Subway connection. The hotel is not in the thick of it but located good for my purpose. I loved that the temperature could be regulated to a comfy warmth.

Beautiful clean room unfortunately it's really hard to find a place to put your make up on as the lighting isn't really lighting and the mirror near the window was smoked! And ladies need good lighting to put their make up on.

Easy for family with kids. Huge mall meeting our needs. Fa yuan street and all just right behind. Good food and convenience. Service is awesome too.

The worst room service ~ clearly did not clean, obstinately open your eyes and lie, reaction with the hotel, garbage is not clear, room items did not add, the bed or we are out of the door to tidy, check out the time unexpectedly just to collect fees with us, speak a pair of them very reasonable, do not want to spend time with them to pay, but will never stay in this hotel, Live so many hotels, the first time met the Star hotel service so shrimp!

The room is great with modern design. The location is slightly off the popular spots but still near enough to walk. 10 min. The nearest station is of East West line. Thus you will have to change to another line to reach the more popular shopping belt.

Best service we have ever experienced. Our room was lovely and the view. We had access to the club lounge which was the perfect place to relax. Big shopping centre with access from hotel. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Excellent Hotel with an international standard. The rooms are modern and welcoming. The hotel has a large swimming pool on the 8th floor. The hotel is very well located and looks directly onto a huge shopping mall and a metro station. Possibility of a "late check out" against a plus.

Rooms are nice, located next to a mall which is also convenient for shopping. The pool and buffet are decent, but could be better (for a 5 star pool, it is still good).

The hotel is conveniently located next to the Mongkok east MTR station and the bus interchange. Although it is on top of a big up market shopping mall (MEKO), I won't recommended anyone to shop here unless you are looking for the latest branded goods. The rooms are big for the price, in our opinion (we paid abt 1400HKD per night during late Mar 2016 over the easter wkend), clean and well designed. The hotel staff were polite, courteous and attentive.

Fantastic stay. If you're in Hong Kong treat yourself to the club room. Well worth it and exceptional service. In house restaurants are a double bonus. The sushi in La Scala the best I've ever had.

For the price. This hotel is great. Clean rooms and up to date utilities and modern design. Nice staff. If you cant find the hotel lobby, use the map in the mall located downstairs.

It is a nice hotel, the room is clean and big, location is convenient too. My only complaint is the lobby service. We arrived there at 6:30am, my wife asked the lobby counter for a glass of water for medicine, but the guy said: We don’t have that service, you need to go to the restaurant opposite here. Because it was too early, the restaurant was not open yet, and the tap water in Hong Kong is not suitable for direct drinking, so we needed to the 7-eleven to buy a bottle of water.

Nice hotel. Clean and the staff were very attentive — I asked for an iron and it arrived within 5 mins (a good yardstick I feel). On top of mongkok east stn and a short walk from mong kok station (10mins or so) via a covered walkway however walking street level is far more interesting!

It is not very easy to locate. As the entrance of the hotel from Moko mall is located at a quiet corner which is not noticable to me. However, I must say that the hotel provides excellent service. Arrangement were made for us to take a rest at the gym area when we arrive before the check in time.

Located in mong kok East station the hotel has a buffet restaurant. Chinese restaurant n a bar. Their Chinese restaurants are well known for their dim sum and set menu. Their buffets are nice too. Esp dinner buffet where there is all u can eat oysters.

The air conditioning has a serious mildew problem. Really bad. I am sneezing badly and the hotel front desk has been very nice about it, but after switching rooms 4 times… I have had enough. Choose something else if the smell of mildew in the Air conditioning of a very expensive hotel bothers you…

I like it too much, it's just in the Mong Kok East mtr & bus stations, which make your way to any place in Hong Kong very easy. The hotel room was clean and well organised and also new style decoration. I also try the pool & health club, was great and nice. The hotel is connected to big shopping mall called MOKO, so it is very easy to find variety of dinning options and also the shopping as well. The hotel is always full, which make the check in before 3:00pm not so easy.

This hotel provides a near-perfect experience. It's located at a convenient mall+market area with MTR and shuttle access, handled by a professional and friendly staff with great efficiency, has a fast, functional Wi-Fi (! ) that can accommodate an entire family with speedy access, has complete options for food (from affordable to expensive), has well-maintained and functional facilities and rooms that are comfortable to stay in with everything you'll need. For visitors who would consider this, also take note of their bus shuttle and restaurant options. The shuttle lets you access both Airport Express MTRs and the Red MTR line for travelling to the HK and Kowloon CBDs. As for the restaurants, they provide discounts for buffets to select places. If not, you could also just choose to drop by at the Food Opera in MOKO (food court) or any of the places to eat in the nearby market. 5/5 would stay in again the next time we'll go back to Hong Kong.

Stayed there in December 2013. Just completed renovations. Spacious family room. Kids did not want to leave the bath tub. Hotel located near shopping mall and night market. Very convenient. No Wi-Fi problems. We had 4 four devices.

Service was good apart. We had a bit of issue with the toilet bowl when we stayed there last year which was quickly resolved by the staff. But the problem came back again the day after. Staff was quick to help though. Only massive problem is the limit for Wi-Fi. In this day and age, they gave us only two Wi-Fi access per room. And, each of us obviously had more than one device that needs Wi-Fi connection. Hope they will improve on this.

Stayed there 5 nights in July 2013. The hotel is situated in a huge shopping mall, part of the building is under renovation. The pool and some public area of the hotel is closed for renovation and the construction work in the lobby is very noisy during the day. Gaining access to it is a problem. We use the restaurant for access to avoid the construction. But the room is quiet and clean.
