Great Service all the staff very friendly.

This hotel is perfectly located and the room and service were great.

No cleaning room service. Really disappointing. Nobody explained it in the check in or doing the booking. Customer service level very poor.

The hotel was good and centrally located. The restaurant in the 1st floor was very nice. The valet service was surely a help. Only issue while booking through agoda didnt have good idea of the rooms but was nice. Will come back!

This is a beautiful and cozy hotel in a great location at the heart of Old Quebec. You will get back in time inside Hotel Clarendon just as you will on Old Quebec. The room size is good for a party of four, beds are comfortable, it is really clean and the staff is very friendly. I totally recommend this hotel.

Beautifully decorated, nice rooms, comfy beds and linens. Looks and feels great. Also great location and service. The rooms are small but to be expected. Everything else made up for the smaller room sizes.

It is a high quality hotel which is very well located, which offers well furnished, comfortable and well-silenced rooms. The staff are also welcoming and professional. Finally, I would like to share an interesting point. Access to the parking lot of the Quebec City Hall is possible through a tunnel in the basement. So no need to go outside to access our vehicle. It is very convenient in winter with luggage.

Excellent hotel but an access ramp for handicapped at the entrance inside and outside would be more convenient than walking to ride with luggage in hand it is easier and less painful with my thanks Martine Bensimon.

Classic charm and luxury in the heart of Quebec City, steps away from the castle and its boardwalk and the sinuous little streets around it. Jazz is piping non-stop through the audio system. This place is actually a bona fide jazz venue offering live music on the weekends.

Its rustic and historic appearance gives it a unique charm. The reception staff are bilingual see even sometimes trilingual which is very surprising and adds a touch of professionalism and the meals served at the restaurant are delectable. The only downside that is quickly forgotten from the good service is the size of the rooms for people alone. I definitely recommend it, its worth it!

Splendid hotel has restaurant service also the Internet is super fast and the rooms comfortable the bathrooms have bathtub so it is an excellent option to enjoy a honeymoon some rooms have a coffee maker in the room.

This might be the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in. Courteous staff, small but comfortable rooms, pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is excellent, we recommend you try it. If we visit Quebec city again, we will be staying at this hotel again.

I like hotel bars. Always have, always will. The one here (named the Charles Baillairge, I believe) needs a bit of work. The mirror one one side of the bar is unsettling, and drink specials are scrawled on it in silver marker, which makes it almost impossible to read. Wine prices seemed fine — $9.00 for a chardonnay and a Bordeaux. I think our waitress was named Melissa. She was great.

The service and the scenery is good. Very well located in Old Quebec. The room is clean and big enough. In the evening there is sometimes a show in the bar section.

I stayed at the Clarendon on a business trip with my colleagues. This also happened to be during Carnaval and the front desk was very helpful to let us know how it all worked. They also sell the effigies in the hotel. I used valet for my car and they were always very quick to get it for me. The parking options for Self park did not allow in and out privileges, so it was less expensive for us to valet since we left each day. The hotel is very close to many restaurants in Old Quebec.

First let me say that the Hotel at first appeared very clean and most of the staff were very helpful and pleasant. My friends and I had rented 2 bedrooms and only stayed 1 night instead of the planned 4 nights. A bed bug was found when turning down the bed in one of the rooms late on the first evening. We immediately called the front desk and the 2 in the room with the bed bug were moved to a room in the back of the hotel. Apparently they had a bed bug problem affecting the rooms in the front of the hotel per the hotel staff person that assisted in the move. When check under the bed to make sure nothing was being forgotten we noticed that there was a white powder on the floor where the head board was. I noticed there was the same white powder under the headboard in my room and in the newer room at the back of the hotel. We chose to check out of the hotel due to this problem. We were charged a full nights rent for 2 rooms, we paid the bill because we just wanted to be able to check out and find another hotel.

Great place! Extraordinary rental. The little launge is friendly and warm.

Of the 6 hotels we stayed during our stay in Quebec, for us it was the least comfortable, especially having regard to the size of the room
The furniture prevents to circulate, but it serves to open the suitcases because no possible place on the ground or elsewhere
The toilets are wedged in under the sink
A shame because the setting is picturesque
Nice atmosphere with a musical group jazz in the restaurant but very little light to read and choose on the map and no explanations on the composition of the cocktails

Very nice Hotel in the city center. Close to everything. The staff are very friendly and considerate. A valet service allows you to get rid of your car easily (at the same price as the parking lots available in the vicinity).

Loved the hotel! Great location as most reviews have stated. Rooms were fantastic. Staff was friendly. However, we wish they would have told us in advance about the construction occurring below our room every morning. Also, the bathroom door did not latch closed, but overall the room was clean and comfortable.

To start on a positive note; fortunately, the parking valets are there for the friendliness, the smile and the service and the hotel is ideally located, because otherwise it would deserve a — 1. First, we arrive for Check in and at the reception 2 ladies who speak, who speak and they do not have strictly nothing to do whether we're there … but still, before you make the chat to your colleagues care of you customers. The, we are told that it was one room with 2 beds but obviously this is not necessary and she was right, although it would be better to do it to keep our large bedroom with two beds finally. We were assigned a room on the 6th, in the corridors of the work is done, chemical smells super nasty, we know barely get the suitcases out and surprise the room is tiny, one hardly knows to deploy our 2 suitcases … Well we are there for 2 nights it is not so bad. Except that, 19h begins a sound crazy, a real mess over our heads as if people were moving. At 21h we decide to go see… you see nothing. Suddenly the valet parking very nice monte see with us, he hears and actually … it changes us from the room. 2nd room even smaller! And surprise the day of work from 8h to 17h Wouhouuu … The holidays is also a rest so yes that is disturbing. Impossible to open the window which gives on another window that does not open, and I say not unto you, not the cluster of spider's web between the windows! Not to mention the carpet dirty the room.

Great hotel with wonderful staff in a fantastic location. Not a lot of frills here but the rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. The staff are helpful and the restaurant has a delicious menu that is well-priced. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice old world charm. Comfortable bed. Great view of lights outside in the park across the street and in windows around.

Conveniently located within the old town district. Rooms are very clean. The view depends of course, we wouldn’t call it ‘view’ in our room. Rooms were squeezed with furniture, although not enough. Our room had the size for one king bed, instead they squeezed in two queens. Lobby and all other public areas in the hotel need extremely a refurb an upgrade. Overall: Very touristy, not bad, just don’t like to book it again.

When we arrived they told us that they were overseld and were puting us in other hotel. Of course, you have no saying on this, nore are they giving you your money back. The other hotel is 45" away from the tourist town and, also, you have to go back to this hotel each time for them to call you a taxi for the commuting, or pay from your pocket. In a three day stay in Quebec, we are going to lose 7 hours in total of awake time. Here that is a full day. We have lost tours. We have lost money. They just dont care.
Very poor service and bad planning. We have been checking with them before hand but they didnt told us they were changing us. Really dishonest people.

We were really unsure of where to stay in Old Quebec City, and we could not have been happier with our choice of the Hotel Clarendon. The location is perfect, the staff warm, friendly and helpful and the room met all our needs nicely. The jazz musicians performing over the weekend were great, and a provided a wonderful wrap up to our days exploring Quebec City. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

Location is perfect for visiting Old Quebec. Public overnight parking is connected to the hotel. Very close to shops and restaurants. Short walk to the port and a close drive to popular locations such as Orleans Island and Montmoremcy Falls. Room is large and and well equipped. Free Wi-Fi.

The staff are very friendly and our room, very clean though small. The rental of the hotel is perfect, in the heart of the Old town, which makes it on the other hand difficult to access by car.

We booked 2 rooms there for the week of July 2 to July 8, 2017 for a family vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hotel is in a perfect location with regard to the sightseeing we needed to do plus shopping and restaurants were all within walking distance as well. We ate at the restaurant 3 separate times and the food and service was excellent! Rooms and hallways were very clean and beds were comfortable as well. I would certainly stay there again and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location for sightseeing… and if you are on the 12th floor you will have a great view of the city center… romantic.

The staff here are outstanding. I never had an interaction where they failed to fulfill my needs. This was always performed in a friendly manner without regard to my poor french. The rooms are clean and sufficiently appointed for our needs. The only meal we took here was breakfast and that was akways wonderful. The hotel is perfectly located for excursions throughout Old Quebec. When we arrived, we parked our car out in front and they whisked it away for us. Should I ever return here, this will be my first choice for accommodations.

What a wonderful staff! The executive king bed room is a good choice; others seem relatively tiny. Older proprty but nicely update. Love the heated bathroom floor. Staff though, to a person, are so accommodating and cheerful. Valets are amazing. Hotel perfectly situated within walking distance to everything in old city Quebec.

Very small room. Unable to access the wardrobe. Obliged to put the luggage and clothes on the second bed. No chair in this room number 126.

This hotel is in a great location in old Quebec. Smaller rooms, no parking included but this is to be expected with a hotel in old Quebec. Want parking or other services, cheaper rooms and the like, don't stay here. Stay outside old Quebec. Want to be in the thick of this fantastic area? I recommend this hotel. Close to all little shops and restaurants, lots to see…

The employees were very helpful, (I only speak English) the bar/lounge was nice. The rooms were very clean, definitely an old hotel. But with modern amenities. Great location in the heart of Quebec city so many places to explore all within walking distance. And plenty of bars and restaurants to stumble back from late at night.

Went here with a school group. The front desk was very helpful, keys were ready for the group using our list. Rooms were clean and very nice with a beautiful view of downtown Quebec. The breakfast they provided was excellent with plenty of options. I look forward to going back.

Decent price for the location. Older hotel so it isn't in tip top shape. No fridge, and a towl and bedding had stains on them. Staff was nice and bilingual so didn't run into a problem being english. If you want a decent priced room in the middle of old city than grab it, but there are nicer hotels right outside the old wall that you should look at first (Delta, Marriot, Westin).

Hotel Clarendon is a nice little spot, conveniently located near shops, cafes, and Le Chateau Frontenac. The staff are friendly and know the area well. My room was clean and had a great view. What's not to like.

I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Situated right in the centre of Old Quebec, this majestic old hotel was within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping and attractions. Staff were courteous. Room was small but very clean and comfortable. Rates were reasonable. Valet parking was necessary and cost $25.00/day. Definitely a good experience. With a bit of history thrown in.

Room with a queen bed extremely small and too expensive. In addition they all stick to the elevator and stairs so very noisy. I'll never go back.

The Clarendon is just great. Hip and beautiful, tucked away in the heart of Phoenix. The pool and food and sense of community there is just lovely in a way that is totally unique and extremely pleasant. I've never been anywhere like it, and I highly recommend it.

Old and charming, but a little too rough around the edges. Rooms are small, with no desk. Wifi was not dependable, however the support was quick to respond. Water temperature is abysmal and constantly changing, and the linens are old and gross. Overall not bad for the price, if you're willing to overlook a few things. Breakfast was excellent and was included in the rate. 7/10.

No Wi-Fi. This hotel advertises complimentary Wi-Fi internet but the signal is so weak around the hotel that it is in fact unusable. Even more annoying is the fact that the staff will just lie to you when complaining about the issue, saying that it is just a temporary issue that will be fixed in the next few hours. Obviously they were trained to say this as different staff told me exactly the same excuses. If they would have told the truth after my first complaint I would have moved to another hotel. However, they did a good job in keeping up my hopes of getting internet at some point, saying each time I complained that I would get internet in a few hours. Needless to say I did not enjoy even 5 minutes of internet connection in my 3 nights stay, being forced to work from a cafeteria. Business travelers that need internet to work or people that don´t like being lied to, better stay away.
