Rooms are spotless! So happy to have a clean bathroom & tub for the kids. Pool was very clean too.

I was very disappointed with the lack of bottled water in the room. There is a charge of $3.00 per bottle due to covid which is ridiculous as the nightly rates are very high and not reduced due to covid. The towels for the pool was a little hand towel and it just seem that customer service was not important to the front desk folks. Would not recommend this hotel as there were better hotels with lower rates and better service in the immediate area.

Family oriented, with awesome pool and water slide for the kids. The staff are all accommodating and actually make you feel appreciated.

It’s not a big hotel but I find the rooms and bed very comfortable. It has kitchenettes. Very friendly front desk personnel. I like it very much.

Finally arrived home after spending 3 days in hotel … Laura is feeling a little better after going through hell for 48 hours … we always stay at the Town Place suites for its cleanliness and friendly and helpful staff. Beverly at the front desk is always smiling and helpful… porter Sheila R. Took the time to look through a box of 100+ chargers to find the one I left there a couple of months earlier … this was at 10:50 pm on Friday night when her shift ended at 11 … I know the hotel industry and she had more important things to do but was smiling and very pleasant. The hotel was full because of hockey and we were going to have to switch to the last room on Sat and Laura was extremely ill… Lisa Jones took the time to fix this up and I believe it was her day off so we didn't have to change room's for the next three days. Thanks to all for changing sheets and towels at a moments notice.
I see people complaining about the hockey teams … we can't get mad at the staff or kids it's the parents not doing their job … hotel staff are not baby sitters.

Pet friendly! Which sounds great, until you have little stupid dog in the next room that barks half the night and all day… honestly don't bring a yapping dog… jerks. Rooms were really nice, clean and large. Has fridge, stove, microwave and table for 4.

The suites are nice and quiet. Everything you could think of is available and the staff is nice and knowledgeable. My only complaint is the room was full of dog hair. That did not go well with my black pants and top. Maybe clean rooms a little better.

Fantastic rooms — spacious, spotless and modern. The housekeeping team are exceptional — efficient, professional and friendly. I am was here for this past long weekend with my family and really enjoy the excellent service I was given, the warm welcome that I received and the genuine, smiling farewells upon departure. When I asked for some extra towels and supplies the housekeeping supervisor immediately arranged for it and she was extremely friendly and helpful very attentive for our entire stay and always kept asking how else can be done to help us. The entire housekeeping staff definitely exceed my expectations on our visit — thanks everyone! It is the great team and vibe here that make it stand out — I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Sudbury. I enjoyed the quietness, the cleanliness and the lovely staff. I would be more than happy to stay here again in the near future. Parking was close and very easy to come and go. Room was very well appointed. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Coming in to the hotel and checking in was a breeze and hardly took any time at all even with an energetic husky (yes this place is pet friendly! ). The room itself was immaculate and we'll furnished and was very cozy. The shower was lovely as well as the some kitchen provisions. In the morning the provided hot breakfast was delicious and far above any other hotel breakfast I've ever had. I would certainly come back again.

Very clean and comfortable. Friendly helpful staff everywhere! Awesome pool and hot tub. There is a slide but hours are limited so beware. Laundry facilities are wondrous. $2 for a double load washer and $2 to dry! Pet Friendly to boot! Great accommodation! Thank you for the easy stay and relaxation after work!

Clean. Friendly staff. Good rates. Pool was nice. Sadly the waterslide was only available outside of out visit time. Children were quite disappointed.

Amazing stay. Very clean, roomy, and modern. Breakfast was very good, especially the Western omlette. Used to small gym, perfect for workout on the road. Pool was very nice, didn't get a chance to use the slide though.

The staff were excellent. Responsive and Respectful. I would also note that all odd number rooms face the highway. The even numbered rooms face the rear of the building. The pool was nice but I found the water to irritate my skin. The hot tub was actually hot. The hot breakfast was great.

Hotel was nice, staff was very friendly but room was ok only. Needs some maintenance. Toilet wouldn't stop running, coffee pot issues and the TV remote was black with grease. I usually don't complain, but for what I paid for the room was expecting better. Have had good luck at the Fairfield Marriot. Sorry, but this is my honest opinion.

Nice stay, friendly staff. However during we had to find a parking spot very far away from any entrance as the hotel is right next to a rock. The kitchen with stove is amazing for long stays.

Never stay when a hockey tournament is there it was chaos. Couldnt change rooms nor offered anything in lue of noise complaints till 1 am each night. Never again.

I am one of the staffs working at the townspalce and I can really say this is the place to stay! It is one of the best hotels I know in Sudbury, with Great staff! The staff really makes you feel welcomed! And boosts your confidence whenever they can! A great breakfast and awesome service! Can’t go wrong!

The only thing I'd change is the pillows. They're a bit too small for me. Other than that it's a great place to stay, no real complaints so far.

Nice, well kept hotel. Rooms are adequately sized, service was good. Came at the wrong time, there was a hockey tournament in town, so the hotel was quite full. As a result, we couldn't take our nephews down to the pool until the following morning, but that's no fault of the hotel. Staff was courteous and offered to call when there was enough space. I personally did not stay the evening, but my in-laws did.

The room was perfect, spacious, with a kitchenette. Very accommodating to people who needed to book last minute and very helpful. Hot tub was very hot and relaxing after a long day. Next mornings breakfast was good as well. Downside: live band in the bar on a Tuesday night, we could hear it two floors up. Who parties and has a live band on a Tuesday night? Otherwise great hotel and staff.

Found everything to be a nice experience. It took a little while to get hooked into the free Wi-Fi due to difficulty finding an IP address. But that seemed to fix itself. I also wish the breakfast was open later. I missed both mornings because I slept past 10am. Oh well. But everything else was awesome and the rooms were beautiful.

Pool closed and next day no life guard so slide was closed. Kids were not impressed and very disappointed, only went to this hotel for slide. Rooms were spacious and loved kitchenette. Breakfast was good!

We stay durimg the christmas break. Family comes to us and we use the dining room. Great staff. Love the experience.

I never do reviews unless they are good but I just went through hell at this dump. Worst employee reaction one can get and Worst disturbing experience one can have while quietly doing work. Guests at bar started picking at me while I was working on a computer in the business centre corner around 10:45pm. Two ladies and two men. The larger of the women a blond lady was very drunk and swearing a lot started calling me names and bragging nobody can do anything to her since she is from the attorney generals office working on a murder case. She was bragging what questions she uses to examine witness etc. When she pushed her limit on picking at me I started asking why she is calling me bubba in the orange shirt and how she figures I'm going to take care of her friend when he goes to jail. There were references made to inappropriate body parts on her side. When a bar lady/manager walked by I politely asked if she can ask the lady to stop harassing me, yet instead she jumped at me and yelled at me. I quoted word for word what the heavier blond lady said. She spent time with those people during the night at the bar and was defending them. After when I was leaving she assured me they were drunk and they are going to bed now since it was 11 pm. Very unhappy how she handled this incident when all I did is use the computer and printer for business not disturbing anybody. Will never stay here again and will discourage anybody from doing so.

I've stayed here previously but is was a completely different demographic during the week. Higher price point as well attracts a different clientele. Not so on the weekends. Seeing that the hotel was fully booked prior to arriving, I specifically asked the front desk upon check-in if there was a bus load of 'any team' staying here. Front desk staff is really nice, friendly and polite and she had mentioned there is a swim team staying at the hotel but that they are staying on the second floor. My room was on the top floor (6). Did not matter. My question to this hotel, and any other for that matter is, why is it so difficult to book business travel patrons on a separate floor? Why would you put a bunch of undisciplined, screaming kids on the same floor? BTW, hotel door latches shouldn't be used to prop open the door. Fire/Insurance issue for the hotel. But people just don't care and most hotel staff don't even know that this could be a huge issue for the hotel. Suggestion: If the hotel is completely sold out, then use the 10 rooms on one half of a floor for biz only. I'm certain I wasn't the only business traveller trying to get some rest. Common sense but not so common unfortunately.

Common sense but not so common unfortunately.

The only thing I did not like its that a scan of the network Wi-Fi tell me its not at all safe.

Great hotel. Rooms are new, breakfast is good and the hotel bar is well stocked. If you're arriving from the west, there's a huge median and you'll have to drive a block to do a U-turn. Take a left at Falconbridge and come in the back entrance.

The room was clean, spacious and really stylish. The night dude at the front desk was helpful, had a great sense of humour and gave excellent customer service. We ended up with car trouble which required a boost. They sent a guy to help who was amazing. It wasn't simply a boost, it was trouble shooting to get the boost to actually work! The only down side was that we had no time to enjoy the pool and water slide! Really wish we could have stayed a few more days. Great place to stay in Sudbury ON.

The Front Desk personnel were very friendly and efficient. Our suite was clean and we loved the layout, just like a small studio apartment. Very tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was nice as well. My only complaint is with the pool. It really smelled like chlorine, and you could smell it outside as well. It either has too much or not enough chlorine and it's off gassing. I would return here to stay and I recommend it to friends and family.

Nice hotel, its clean but the room smells like hockey equipment mixed with some sort of febreeze. The breakfast was decent. Pool was good.

The room came with a microwave, stove top and full size fridge. It also had everything needed to make your own food including dish washing cleaner and dish washer tabs. Enjoyed our stay.

Friendly, helpful staff and clean rooms. Our kids loved the pool and water slide. Will he making this our go to spot when visiting in the future.

The hotel very clean, it's nice that the room comes w/ a kitchen and a normal sized fridge. The free breakfast is a plus. If you are going to stay in this hotel you might want to request a front facing room, for a better view.

Bright, clean, and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast wasn't anything special but not bad. I would stay here again!

There is a continental breakfast that isn't the greatest and they ran out of meat but the staff running it were friendly.

I attended for a business meeting and the meeting room we were in was clean and well laid out. There was complimentary water at the tables and coffee and tea set up in the back. There was an overhead projector in the room and all the technology worked. I would attend again based on my experiences.

Had a safety work summit for my company there. The service was excellent place was clean the food and drinks were fantastic.

We were in a conference room for meetings for two days. It was clean and the staff made sure see had snacks and drinks replenished throughout the day. They were gear and very friendly.

I visit Sudbury once a month for work and have been staying over at both the Radisson and Best Western downtown. Both places have left me drastically disappointed by the lack of service and cleanliness. It took me two years to have finally made a switch and thankfully this place exceeds my expectations. Thank you Lisa and all the staff here at TownPlace for making my stay comfortable. Looking forward to checking in every month!

Absolutely beautiful Suites.

Staff and people very nice when we stayed last night. March 13-14 2015. We got king room with kitchen oh and the beds where like you were sleeping on a cloud woke up with no aches and pains :) :) now I know ill bring food to cook which saves money on ordering out. Pool/slide and hot tub were the best:) :) the only thing not great was the breakfast: (: (pancakes were rubber and not much of variety like the Hampton inn. Great job other than that. And the hotel was completely full and you were put on wait list to get in pool. So as soon as you check in ask about pool they put u on the list and call when theres room to get in only took 1/2 hr. With 2 adults and 2 kids we had time to get settled in and off to the pool we went :) :)

HORRIBLE SERVICE As I was checking out, I was venting to the front desk lady about how horrible our stay was and all she had to say was "Oh sorry to hear that". You would think they would be a little more sympathetic considering this was not my first stay there. I was travelling with two small children and our nights stay was affected by a time set-back of an hour. At 11AM we were using the pool facilities thinking we had ample time, when the sassy front-desk lady came into the pool area to tell us that they needed to strip our room since it was already noon. Why was I not warned of this time change upon check in? or reminded since it affected the length of time of our stay. Nevermind how you have to call downstairs for every little thing and they expect you to tip them?!?!?! I called for toothbrushes and they only brought me toothbrushes, I had to call AGAIN for them to send up toothpaste. COMMON SENSE PEOPLE! The room was so basic, no robes, no slippers, no water, no juice in the room, had to call for that as well. They rushed us out of the room after that, even though they saw I had two small children and needed to shower them after using the chlorine pool.

I really like this place.

This is an excellent hotel facility especially for long term stay. Its location is excellent being very close to every conceivable shopping. Full breakfast is included in the room price. There is a gym and a nice swimming pool. Laundry facilities are located conveniently on the main floor. 100% of the staff are extremely courteous, helpful and accomodating. Just amazing to experience this. Just one complaint, that was precipitated today. Eastlink came in and took out all their set top boxes. We still have full cable service, but the ability to access the programme guide to see what programme the different channels are offering for the day has been eliminated! This is a major deficiency, they have intoduced into the ability of guests to access the TV programmes offered for the day. I talked to the East link technician and he said that the company wanted to remove all the individual set top boxes and replace the cable remote, that had the TV programme listing with the TV remote that has no program guide. This a serious set back and needs to be corrected.

Very nice rooms; suite was basically a typical two-queen hotel bed room, with a bit more space at the entry for a kitchenette. Bed was very comfortable. Free breakfast was OK, hot items are available. Internet was a bit slow. 7/10.

125$ /night, really great hotel. Bed so comfy it cause instant sleep :) Slow internet, but didn't mattered.

Business Traveller 100+ nights a year in hotels. I gave 5 stars not because it's a five star resort but because of the following — clean, brand new-I think I was first person to ever stay in my room-service was super friendly, Brandy at the bar is fantastic and remembered my name, fitness room has good free weights and hot tub is hot. 2 flat screen Tvs in my room; 2 walk in closets, brand new stainless steel appliances, new and functional furniture-it's Sudbury; don't expect ritz Carleton amenities but new clean bright friendly is pretty great place to be if you have to be in Sudbury to start with! Keep it up Towne Suites.
