I recently lost my phone which had very special memories in it and the staff went above and beyond to help me locate it. I was not even a guest there. It was very impressive.

Nice clean room included everything.

Very nice, rooms clean, great hot breakfast buffet.

Standard hotel. Nothing to complain about. Staff were nice.

Poor management of the basketball court, allowing people to play after it was "closed. " No towels at the pool, really slow internet connection, and a housekeeper who was taken aback when I didn't want "service" at 8:45am. Never coming back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the hotel. The room was clean and quiet and the staff were helpful and pleasant. The fitness centre was also very well equipped.

Clean tidy room. We were relocated due to our other hotel being out of hydro. The room stated it slept 5 a king bed and pullout couch. The pull out couch was in terrible shape and unsleep able. My parents and I had to sleep in the king bed and it was a tight squeeze. We reported it to the front desk and the service person was a little gruff and wasn't after much discussion did he concede to look into our complaint. They did give us a $25 gift card to Milestones.

Very clean rooms and pleasant staff. The walls are extremely thin however. It's not very pleasant to be woken up by your neighbors and hear them peeing…

As a business traveler I usually stay with the Hilton group of hotels. Although the Homewood is comfortable and clean. The premium and regular Internet is aweful. Keeps cutting out and when using VPN it is a pain. Front desk simply said to reboot. Not impressed.

Overall, it was a good experience. The breakfast was good. Room is clean. The arrangement of room could be better.

Staying here for 7 months for work on 2 separate occasions. Hotel staff are nice, house keeping is very good, the breakfast and food for supper during the week is good. Safe parking no worries here.

The king bed was very comfortable. Clean room, clean washroom, close to a Starbucks and Safe way. The staff was friendly and extended our checkout time.

We stayed two nights while my husband was having surgery… the staff was wonderful… allowed us a late check out and asked if anything they could do for us. The room was lovely with full kitchen / nice living area and nice big bathroom… will definitely stay there again.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff was courteous. The hotel did not have an inhouse restaurant but their complementary full breakfast was pretty good.

Great hotel and apparently will get renovations to make nicer. Breakfast is good and the suites are clean and well maintained.

Stayed with pets and it was really nice, the rooms have a kitchen and have tools so staying here was great. The service and people where helpful whenever needed help.

Spacious rooms with full kitchenette. Great for longer stays. Hotels offer complimentary breakfast and dinners on weeknights. Hotel is clean but could use a little updating as it is starting to show wear.

Front desk PM and overnight staff amazing. Super accommodating and friendly. They went above and beyond and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Anything I needed they had an answer for. When we had takeout problems from a third party, they made it better. Answered all questions. We had an amazing time on our trip to sudbury.

Great staff nice location. Free breakfast and reception in the evening is nice but can be hit or miss it's sometimes terrible food. Overall nice option with suites and a pool for the kids.

Place was great. Room perfect. Breakfast was disappointing. Menu was good but the quality of the food was poor. Despite being busy, food tasted like it had sat a very long time.

I have nothing but positive things to say when it comes to the homewood suites in sudbury. Last November my husband and I were rehomed here due to extensive flood damage to our home… the following morning I found myself on route to the hospital for the birth of our beautiful first Child Lily. Lily's first home… the suite. The staff took us under their wings and took fantastic care of us. Better than most family members (not depreciating our families… just putting it int…o perspective how amazing the staff were). This year, to celebrate Lily's first birthday we made our way back to our suite for a night and we were showered with love and a personalized birthday gift for our little one. This hotel and it's staff truely go above and beyond. They have helped us create memories and have helped us merge into the crazy life of parenthood. We are so greatful and could never imagine a better place to stay. Thank you for your continuous amazing service. See you next year when Lily celebrates her 2nd birthday Lisa Marie & Joel Beaulieu.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, as always. The rooms are clean, service is great and food is delicious.

This is my second stay at the Homewood Suites at Sudbury. I love the rooms and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, however the Wi-Fi is the worst I've ever experienced at a hotel. I travel on business and I'm not sure how others get any work done here. After the first hour, I've given up and use my data. The free continental breakfast consisted of what seemed to be re-cooked tater tots, the standard cereals, oatmeal, sausage and eggs. After that day, we went to the next door breakfast restaurant. On the plus side, the gym was more comprehensive than most hotel gyms, they serve free dinner (which I didn't try) and the staff are very helpful.

My only issue was my room had an adjoining room and the person's in that room were very noisy, like a bunch of children (at 1am).

We were very impressed with the king suite we booked. Very comfortable and a great layout. Staff was always willing to help and friendly. Breakfast was great with a good variety. Would have given a 4.5 star if possible just because the pool could have used a vacuuming … will stay there again.

Overall, the hotel was clean and staff were polite and courteous. The beds were a little uncomfortable and so were the pillows. Made for not a good rest. There was an older gentlemen that was serving breakfast on my first morning and he began to yell at all customers. He stated that his brother died the day before. He also told everyone that the hotel was short staff and there were only two staff working. He was rude and should not have been at work that day. … For the above reasons, I will probably stay somewhere else next time. I travel a lot for work and have never had someone be so rude.

Worst hotel ever! Falling apart! Toilets broken, elevators broken! Had my bridesmaids stay for the night before the wedding and the staff was rude, the breakfast was cold and unappetizing! Elevators broken, toilets broken, staff was very rude and they lost our bags when they were to transfer to the jacuzzi suite for my husband and I! Our champagne was lost and therefore not put on ice as promised, the suite was not set up for our wedding night! Very disappointed! Never staying at a Hilton again!

We received a free upgrade when we arrived at the hotel. Must have not been available or double booked. It was great just being told we were upgraded and head up to our room. The hallways had an odour, I couldn't place my finger on the smell but the our room was clean, spacious, and had very comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom was very clean which matter to me staying at a hotel. Initially I booked this place thinking it had a hot tub as well as a pool. Pool was great for a short swim but no hot tub. It does have a decent gym and a half-court basketball area which was nice. Staff was friendly and courteous, breakfast was alright and complimentary for our stay. I am not sure if all rooms have it included.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times the last 4 years. Never disappointed with the experience. Plenty of parking, hot breakfast, well equipped suites, and proximity to plenty of restaurants and shops. Plus this is one of the closest hotels coming in from Toronto.

3rd stay in a row at a Hilton Hotel and was not impressed. Customer service was not what I was used to. I called the Guest Service and asked for some toothbrush/toothpaste and was told to come down and get it myself. Going to another Hilton in Thunder Bay. Hopefully a better experience or it will be the last.

The hotel is conveniently located in Sudbury, with a good selection of restaurants near by. The room was very clean, with a full size refrigerator, stove, dinning table, sofa and comfortable king size bed.

One of the nicer hotels I've stayed at in the area. Clean, modern, decent restaurant beside it, quiet, and good beds. Breakfast is plentiful but just OK.

Best suite hotel in the city. Suites are large, well designed, and beautiful. A comfortable bed, fast internet, nothing to complain about. Free breakfast is better than your average business hotel — better bacon (back bacon! ), real eggs, fruit salad. Just all around better. 8/10.

The internet speed is so slow it took about 6 minutes to load the page required to write this review. Hilton chain hotels are my first choice when travelling and I've stayed in more Hampton Inns, Double Trees, Embassy Suites or Homewoods than I care to admit. But this is by far the slowest internet speed I've ever experienced at any hotel. Anywhere. Email is a struggle but possible (most attachments will open/download within several attempts), skype, webex or other video/screen sharing applications are impossible. It's completely unacceptable for a business hotel. After speaking with the friendly staff at the front desk, it's apparent they are aware of the problem and have brought it to the attention of the owner as they frequently receive complaints when the hotel is near capacity. Extremely disappointing, business travellers best find a different hotel.
