My first time at this hotel. What a great place to stay and the breakfast is superb Looking forward to staying again.

Friendly, family-run business with a great English breakfast, good value too.

Great Breakfast, great prices for a night! Amazing service & rooms! My room even had a disco shower with lights & all!

Everything you could want. Very welcoming and friendly owners, lovely atmosphere, very comfortable room, superb breakfast and ideally situated. Very quiet by night and unusually slept like a log. Excellent value for money.

Me and my husband stayed here last year lovely couple who owned it we had a drink with them only one the good aS lovely we paid for a superior room it was nice and clean and the food was good that is why we are going back.

Cheap guest house that thinks its a luxury hotel. Paper peeling off the walls. Dust so thick you could knit a jumper with, bar area used as an office, very unsociable.

Last minute booking and what a find, owners make this hotel from the food to the nights in the bar. Well done to them both.

Found this hotel on one of the many websites and it looked lovely. Needless to say I decided to find the number for myself and ring direct for a better deal and a more personal experience. The first time I phoned the owner talked through advising myself of what room was available. My partner unfortunately at that moment had to leave for work, so I advised the owner I would ring him back once discussed. Myself and my partner decided we would book it so I phoned back 2 nights later to book. I advised him I had spoke to him previous etc and that I was interested. I asked him was there parking facilities, how many spaces? what time you check in etc. Just the things you generally ask. My partner asked can you do it any cheaper? Well not a daft question considering we had gone direct to him and cut out the middle man of the website who he would have to pay silly commissions to. Well I can honestly I have never been spoken to like this in all my life. He told me he didn't want out booking and how we had been funny the last time and then he put the phone down. Well I am sorry for my partner having to leave for work the night previous but really I don't know what I had done. It was completely uncalled for, unwarranted, not necessary and still I don't know what I did wrong. All's I can say there are ways of speaking to people. You should hear them out and listen before you jump on them.

Great warm hotel in the middle of town, great staff, lovely breakfast, top notch we love it.
