Literally the worst parking situation in all of Kelowna. No valet on a busy Friday night. Jerk attendant. You have to get out of you car and tie up traffic to wait in line at the host stand to get a pass and then go back to your car and duke it out with pylon guy in the lot to get a spot. Worst system ever. I’d expect a more organized situation when you drop $500 + for dinner. As a local resident we will choose other dining options in the future. You would do well to remember that local residents keep your restaurant open during the winter months. Perhaps treating them better would be a good idea.

Went there for a wedding a few weeks ago. Was a fantastic spot, beautiful views and friendly staff. Food was also great just not enough of it! Some parts of the inside srea could use an uplift-just looks out of date a bit not dirty or anything like that.

Stayed here for a work function, lots of choices in rooms and most have a lake view. The restaurant here has good food. The only one thing about the hotel is that it only has the one elevator.

Me and my girlfriend ate at Smack Dab, I had probably the best pizza I've ever had at a restaurant. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and my gf ordered the steelhead trout and prawn linguine. She was also blown away by the taste and presentation of her meal. On top of all that, the view of the lake from the patio was amazing. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

We stayed at Manteo for 2 nights this August long and are beyond impressed. Very small details are well taken care of. Staff was very friendly. The gym was well equipped. The restaurant at the resort, Smack Dab, was an amazing place for a quick drink or dinner as it is right one the water. It was just my wife and I and although a very kid friendly resort, we did not feel the presence of kids everywhere as it is well laid out (kids waterpark, playground, etc are all away from the adult places). If there was room for improvement on any aspect, the elevators going down are incredibly slow. We took the stairs down from the second level which was very easy and convenient but if one was on the 4th floor it might not be as easy. Also, perhaps some better noise barrier between adjoining rooms. We had a couple of kids on the other side and if not for a shared door, we would not have heard them. All in all, very small things which did not bother us!

Extremely beautiful place to stay. I was there for a short stay for work and didn't get to experience everything. I need to return to really experience everything it has to offer. The lounge area was fantastic had some delicious fries and some drinks. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

Great spot! I'm from kelowna, visited some friends that were staying there last week and totally felt like I was on vacation. Fsntastic lake views. The outdoor pools are great. Slide was fun for the kids. Indoor ping pong and other games were fun too. I would recommend for sure.

Manteo has a great setting, nice pools and public areas and there are 3 good restaurants right there. The townhouse we stayed in was on the waterfront. Beautiful view. The interior had been updated partly, but the bathrooms haven't been done yet. Small TVs but who cares, you should out doing stuff anyway!

For the most part, I really like the Manteo Resort Waterfront Hotel.  I would probably come back with the family and stay for a vacation, maybe rent a boat or walk down to the nearby beach.  This trip was for a work function, so it was less relaxing. The good parts are that the location and views are gorgeous, being that it is located on the Okanagan.  The meeting facilities are also quite nice, with doors opening on to the patio overlooking the water. The staff were all very friendly, including the restaurant, Smack Dab, where they have many delicious dishes.  my server took good care of me and came back to check on me after my food came out and again shortly after. The one thing in general that I didn’t like about the resort was that after 11:00pm there is nothing to do.  The restaurant closed up and there is only the one. There is another hotel down the boardwalk, but they also closed early. So if you want to do something after 11:00 pm, you will have to leave the property. They also do not have a spa, which I thought was strange considering that they do have a large clubhouse with an indoor pool and fitness area etc. There is a lot of space that they could use for this, a massage is just one of the services I like when I travel.  They also are missing a shop for sundries and convenience items. Why not have a spot where you could sell these miscellaneous items as well if not for much of a profit, maybe just for the happiness of those who stay.

Well we love this place but sadly it's getting tired… smells old and used. However still expensive. Lots of nice people working here thou.

Cane here for a golf trip. The townhouse cond complex is great. They have a lot of levels so four guys easily had lots of space. There were three bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, a kitchen and a patio. The sofas also pull out to beds. The place also has a garage for each complex if you drive. Staff were great.

The Smack Dab restaurant inside the hotel had top notch service and very delicious food. The view is outstanding. Definitely worth the stop.

We had a small one bedroom suite and it was spacious and clean. The staff were great and the restaurant had great food and was affordable. Really enjoyed it.

I didn't stay there, just had our meeting there. Great meeting room. Amazing view. We did yoga on the deck for our breaks. Awesome!

Stayed at the Manteo resort for two nights. They do have restaurant and the breakfast buffet is $11.95 if you stay at the resort. Resort…, interesting term. I get the hotel is on the lake and has a pool, but it does not have a resort feel. If you book a room with a view of the Lake… good for you, better than looking at the parking lot. The room offers Keurig coffee (only 2 mind you) in the room, but the Van Houtte blend is disgusting. Two weeks previously we stayed at the Coast Capri, which has a breakfast buffet "INCLUDED" and I have to say is way better than the Manteo $11.95 buffet which offers some unusual varieties of food choices. All in all the stay was pleasant and the staff were nice at check in and check out. Would I come back, … Yes, if the Coast Capri Hotel was full.

Excellent hotel with great staff. Right on the lake with great views. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant on site, Smack Dab, serves a good breakfast and their dinners looked good (although we didn't get to try them).

It's a great place to stay, front staff were very nice and the food in the hotel was good! The fitness facility had great views and I love that there is games and mini golf! My only complaint would be when I stayed it was in December and I had no idea the fitness facility was located away from the hotel so It was a chilly walk to it.

Very nice hotel, good location by the water and not far from town. Prices seemed reasonable. It was winter so some of the facilities are closed, but it looks well equipped for families. Restaurants were nice and food was well priced.

Nice hotel at the lake. If you stay in main building you have to go outside for the clubhouse with swimming pool and sauna and fitness. Food in restaurant is good. Breakfast buffet is small and has interesting parts like breakfast pizza on it. Unfortenatuelly it does not really change over the days. Cappuccino has to be paid extra which is not mentioned when you order. Parking is for free in front of the hotel.

We came here for New Years and had a great time. We got a corner room suite with a king size bed. Great place, very clean and friendly service. Stunning view. There is also indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, a fitness room and rec room with air hockey and ping pong. The kitchen in our room has all the things needed, pots, pans, dishes, wine glasses and even a casserole dish!

Little pricey but good food and service.

We were at the hotel for a annual corporate meeting, room was very nice and clean. View was spectacular of lake Okanagan. Food was excellent. Bar and restaurant does close at 10pm which can be a pain. Our corporate dinner was in the club house which if don't know where it is can be hard to find in the dark, also they forgot to put out our logo which would have helped finding the location. Overall great place to stay definitely recommend.

Very nice hotel. Quiet and well appointed. Nice in the winter but I bet it would be a blast in the summer. I'm pretty sure you can rent a boat slip if you want to bring your own boat. Beautiful beach.

This is a beautiful facility. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The catering staff are spectacular and the food is amassing. The view of the lake is super.

Good location. Clean and cozy. A bit old facilities. It is necessary to clean the beach of algae well.

Spiders… How has no one mentioned the spiders… I haven't seen any in the room but there's a huge infestation of them on the docks. Beautiful docks but spiders freak me the hell out. Get a proper exterminator and I'd give 5 stars easy. This was about the best hotel I've stayed in although they need to clarify their rates on the website. It has 185 on the website for the room I got but when I called I was told that it was a special deal and they didn't have any more. They did give me a discount but with taxes it still came out to 265. Also 50-100$ hotels give free contenental breakfast but this one charges 15+$ for pretty much the same thing.

The hotel is located at a very nice spot. Close to downtown and right on the lake. Our room had a great view of the lake, however it was a bit dated and needed maintenance. Overall, a nice place to stay. We will come back.

If you have any issues here, they are going to make it right. Great service. Great venue for our Remax orientation meeting. Excellent meals. Great amenities. Definitely coming back.

We stayed here for two nights this week and it was wonderful! We initially booked for one night with two adults and then added a second night so we could bring the kids. When we got to our room our key didn't work and someone from housekeeping was in the hall and let us in. We saw that it was one King bed rather than two Queens which was ok for the first night but not the second when we had our two kids with us. The lady from housekeeping wouldn't let us go to the front desk to deal with it, she insisted on calling them for us while we sat on the balcony and enjoyed the view. They moved us to another room within a few minutes with no fuss. We tried the restaurant and while three of us enjoyed our meal a great deal my youngest daughter didn't like hers. They took it off our bill without us even asking and offered to bring her something else. When we checked in they gave us a coupon for a free half hour water experience and initially had the wrong checkout date which is also the expiry date. When I went to the front desk to ask them to change we started chatting and when I mentioned both kids wanted to try something she gave me a second coupon so they both went kayaking for free :) We are already working out the dates to come back next year, this time for longer!

We rented a villa for a night. It slept 6, and it slept 4 adults plus a child comfortably. There were more than enough bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean. The staff was very friendly. The grounds were beautifully taken care of.

Stayed for the May weekend in room 419. Bed was soooo comfortable! Room was nice, was a mountain view room but we actually had a nice view of lake as well which was a nice surprise. Hotel staff were very friendly, would definitely stay again. The only cons: parking for a dodge truck was a bit of an issue, lot seems a little small if their at capacity? And right next to room 419 is service elevator and when it starts it's quite noisy. It's wasn't enough to change rooms but was definitely quite loud at times.

My sisters @ (536832616:Roxannee Humbke) & @ (663542834:Nadean Langlois) spent almost a week at this incredible resort as we celebrated my 50th birthday. From the moment we walked in the doors, we were impressed with the helpful, happy & accommodating staff. Any question we had was quickly addressed. The rooms were lovely — we had one of the BEST burgers we've ever eaten — and every staff member went out of their way to ensure every aspect of our stay went perfectly! Cannot say enough good things about our stay!

Hotel is modern and room was nice. Stayed during winter and the indoor pool was located in a different building a couple hundred meters away. I wouldn't stay again during the winter for that reason but would definitely consider during the summer for the outdoor resort areas.

A nice hotel / Resort in a great location. We have stayed here on a few occasions. The staff is always very courteous and accommodating. They have a variety of accommodation types, from regular hotel rooms to large multi-person villas. The restaurant, Smack Dab, is pretty good and has a great location near the water. Great for families, as there are two pools, a common area with foosball and pool table, tennis courts, and of course the resort is right on the beach.

The Smack Dab restaurant was quite nice. The server was very kind and cognisant of allergies. We were accommodated quite well to make sure everyone enjoyed the meal without getting sick. The food was good. I'd eat there again if that's where someone wanted to go.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and it was fantastic, huge and spacious and three bathrooms, a minute from the water. Shower was too small to use for a big tall broad guy though so it loses a star solely for the smell on me the day after staying there. The water pressure was also pretty low, it's a shame, this could be perfect. If you have three or four people you'd do much better to stay in a villa here instead of multiple rooms elsewhere unless you're a big or tall person.

Great resort on all accounts. From the warm and friendly check-in to the well appointed rooms we have been quite impressed. The food at the "Smack Dab" restaurant was well beyond what we expected as well. The food was creative and had great flavour. The service was spot on as well. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Eccellent service, amazing suites, great food at Smack Dab. We had an excellent three nights here and would definitley go back. Right on Lake Okanagan with stunning scenery surrounding you.

Hardly a resort, this hotel is very average. The rooms are horribly disproportioned, the main sleeping area had tons of extra space while you couldn't get into the toilet/shower area without standing behind the toilet. The sink was very small and had an inch of counter space. The chairs on the balcony were filthy and had spider webs all over them. We requires extra beds for the room and the "beds" they gave us were an inch and half thick and you could feel your nails through them. Everything else in the room was dated and all seating accommodations where u comfortable. Would not recommend for more than a last minute, one person, one night stay. The meal in the restaurant was way overpriced and the waitress had spilt an entire glass of water over myself and the most we had received was a mere apology. Should be called the manteo "last resort" hotel.

Really great place. AMAZING FOOD and view a little crowded though with timeshare guys all the time Overy all really good.

Best place to stay in Kelowna hands down! We stayed at oeof the villas which are just like your own townhouse with your own garage. Lots of room and you even have your own patio with gas bbq.

Room was gorgeous as were the facilities. The only negative thing but I have to say is about the restaurant. It was very average. Service was ok but not amazing. Overall though, great place, just maybe eat somewhere else.

Corporate get together at the bar. We were loud and the staff was very polite. Good drinks and great appies.

Provided an excellent buffet. Labelled all the food for common allergens. Staff was helpful serving over 70 of us.

We stayed at Manteo a few times while looking for our new home in Kelowna. Great location, nice clean rooms and friendly staff.

Stayed here with a friend for another friend's wedding at the Eldorado. No complaints about this resort. It seems like a reliable place to stay. Expensive but that seems to be normal in Kelowna.

Wonderful rooms with a great walkout right onto the beach. Beach was clean and gorgeous at night.

Excellent customer service and terrific beach front condo unit which even includes a single-car garage for a great price!

Had an enjoyable business lunch at Smack Dab. Staff provided just the right amount of service to ensure we were taken care of yet still had enough privacy to converse.

Aesthetically Pleasing. Heat in the room was very inconsistent. The direction of the forced air was blowing right onus in the bed! The air conditioning and heat kept alternating all through the night. We are unable to comment on the food in the restaurant as the servers were busy talking amongst themselves for so long we left. We did go up the street to the right and found the Creekside Pub. What a wonderful find! Within walking distance too! The menu is loaded with great options, If we lived in Kelowna, that would be our favorite place. The service was incredible and and the food was amazing. Thank you Carrie.

Very nice resort. Only thing I didn't like is that all the facilities close at 10.
