Staff are all nice me and my family had a great experienced with them.

This is a very nice boutique hotel. Stylish and in a great setting direct at the lake and with very friendly staff and can strongly recommend staying there. Food was also excellent. We had dinner in the restaurant which was also really good. Some of the cocktails were a bit too experimental for my taste.

Had a great time and the staff were super friendly and helpful! I will definitely be back.

Went to the restaurant for dinner. The patio is fantastic, if you can get a seat on the boardwalk the view is even better. I was extremely pleased with the service, everyone we came across was smiling, pleasant, and helpful. The food was delicious and flavourful. Excellent, and well labeled gluten free selection, nearly the whole menu has gluten free options.

Great service and food and atmosphere. A must see if you have never been. You will not regret it!

Beautiful view; lovely servers. No reservations for the boardwalk (and that's really where you want to be) so either go early, or prepare to wait. They had the beyond burger which was a big draw for me!

A very classy place with great service. Parking in the small lot can be hard to find on busier days but there is a large paid parking lot across the street. We've been here a half-dozen times and the food has always been very good. They have a decent sized menu. I'd say it's a good place to bring your parents or partner for a nice lunch or dinner.

Love the water front location and classic decor and feel. Great service and friendly staff. Food was good, but not great for the price. Would definitely recommend and will be back for sure.

The restaurant has a beautiful view of the lake and the food is also great. A delightful evening awaits in this gorgeous lake front hotel. Make sure to ask for a table outside specially in the spring.

Awesome food and drinks, service is top notch. The indoor patio area in the pub is gorgeous! Better in low season because during the summer it gets incredibly busy.

Stayed overnight in lovely room in the Arms building. Room was clean with a comfortable bed. Went for Sunday brunch and was very disappointed. Had a great selection, but everything we tried was very cold and tasted like it had been there a while despite it being busy. Felt it was VERY over priced ($40 per person) and definitely won't be returning for that. Room was lovely though and would recommend an overnight.

The Sunday brunch here is so good! Went for a birthday dinner at the restaurant as well, it was an amazing meal! Incredibly talented chef which is always good; to the point where the food becomes indescribable is a real experience-Looking forward to next occasion to go back.

Went on a quiet night and almost had the place to ourselves. Great food and wine selection. Hard to find a bad seat as it's in a great location by the water.

Warm atmosphere, great bar/restaurant staff. Food and service was terrific! Cozy place by the lake in winter but I'm sure it gets rather busy come summer!

Went for dinner on the patio in July. Amazing experience. Server was very friendly. View from patio style dock was relaxing and perfect for our dinner sate. We'd definitely go back again. Took a stroll through the lobby. Has great charm, heritage feel. I didn't get to experience it but I think it has a roof top pool overlooking the lake.

We went here for afternoon tea and it was lovely. The view was amazing@ the food was cute and tasty. The servers where really nice and accommodating.

Only been to the restaurant here. GREAT views of the lake-one of the best waterfront spots to eat — and delicious unique food. Staff was very friendly as well.

It was a great experience. The food was amazing. The service was prompt. Loved the location right on the water. Would definitely stay there again.

Visited again on Sunday for lunch. The view across the lake is wonderful and special this time because of the snow. The menu is small but the dishes are unique. This time I had I the fish tacos — was surprised to get four of them — they were delicious! I'd give them a five star for this visit except that it was rather cold in the dining room, two from our party didn't take their winter coats off because it was that chilly.

The afternoon tea is a wonderful experience for a day out with your friends and loved ones. Lots of food and some quality tea choices. I took my grandma and she loved it!

Ordered the arctic char. The risotto was drowning in oil. The menu said it came with vegetables. There were barely any veggies on my plate. The fish was ok. I expected better for the price. The food definitely did not live up to all the hype. Overall, I was very disappointed. Quality does not meet the price of the food. Too over priced.

Wonderful boutique hotel right on the lake. The view from our window was amazing! The hotel room had a wonderful jaccuzi tub and was spacious enough for two people. Great little breakfast area as well. Staff was quite helpful and kind. The Sunday brunch is a must for those in the area — the options were endless!

Service was a little slow; they get so busy. But you can't beat the lake view. And they park all the cool cars up close.

The Sunday brunch buffet was amazing. Delicious food and a wide variety for everyone. Great for special occasions. Prices are a little high, but well worth it.

Had the beef burger for lunch and it was amazing. From the bun to the beef and everything inbetween was delicious. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had in awhile and worth coming back for.

Had dinner and drinks just inside from the patio overlooking the water. Quality of food was great. Great atomsphere. A little loud but otherwise good.

Worst experience we ever had! The hostess didn't know how to treat people. The food was not up to par… pasta was old tasting, vegetables looked like slop! Waiter had no idea about the food. He only knew about the drinks! How can the patio food be better the the dining room? This makes no sense!

Great Staff, Great Service, Great View! The entire crew is very accomodating and friendly. We were two couples travelling from Vancouver and were running late by a few. We called them and informed of the same and they said, "the boat will be at your service when you arrive". I am certainly going back next year. Bravo to the entire team of Eldorado Para Sailing!

They have a nice new dock and tables. The only problem is the tables, benches and cushions are black! You get cooked before your food does! Other than that, great food and service.

Awesome beds! We stayed in a heritage room, which they warned us would be a little noisy since they have balcony's over the marina and entertainment, however they were great spots for the Canada Day festivities. We would definitely stay here again.

We went in for lunch and drinks on the patio. It was a beautiful day out, but we neglected to put on sunscreen. When we asked our waitress if she knew anywhere we could get some or borrow some, she went and found some for us. Talk about above and beyond for the customer. The food was spectacular! Amazing service; I will definitely be going again on the next trip to Kelowna.

My wife and I got married at Summerhill winery and stayed here for our wedding night. They got us in on the day before the wedding as our other hotel screwed up or reservation. Staff was amazing, room was amazing. We returned for another stay on new year's again got us in last minute. Cannot say enough good stuff about it. The breakfast is awesome.

Pricy, but that's to be expected at this place. You're paying for beautiful presentation, gorgeous view of the lake (the restaurant is right on the water), and a lovely atmosphere with great service. My family has been going here for years and we absolutely adore it.

Just had another fabulous evening at The El! Thank you to manager Chris for the perfect table for date night. There is no better spot in Kelowna to sit lakeside and enjoy a glass of wine. See you next week!

We made a reservation for 7 people and arrived a little before our table was ready. The hostess asked us if we'd like it sit at the bar while we waited. When the last of our party arrived they took us to a table that had already been given away. We were relocated to the side patio. This is where the boats were being launched, there was also a wedding going on with music that was blasting and competing with the lounge music, which even are server pointed out was annoying. The food was great, the server was great. The bill however was interesting. Did you know that it's more expensive to get a two bottles of wine than it is to get three half litres of the same wine… by $19…? I was not impressed with that at all, I'd rather have watched them pour it into a carafe if that would have made it cheaper. It was a MEH experience for my brothers birthday, and I was pretty disappointed overall.

What a fantastic hotel to stay at, lovely location beautiful views of the lake. Went for a weekend getaway and had a great time at this hotel. Rooms were very clean and spacious, the king-size bed was so comfy it was hard to get up in the morning. Restaurant located in the hotel was fantastic, service was impeccable, and thoroughly enjoyed the view of the water while drinking their famous sangria. All in all this was a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend to anyone, will return here on my next trip to Kelowna.

I love this place. The food is always amazing and well presented, and the ambience is great, but what really keeps us coming is a server who has been working at this restaurant probably since it opened! His name is Vincent and we always call first before we make a reso to ensure he is working. He remembers everyone (AND their food/drink preferences! ). Not to mention our kids names etc! He knows the menu by heart and recommends things by romancing them so eloquently that your mouth starts to water before you've even ordered it! His fine dining service skills are absolutely second to none, and he delivers the entire dining experience at Eldorado with such a personal touch that it just makes you keep coming back. So, although I highly recommend this restaurant any day, I really highly suggest you ask to sit where you will be taken care of by Vincent. Let's just say, if I were in the restaurant business, I would offer him a job running it.

Went there for a staff party, food was excellent. I had a steak that was cooked exactly as I ordered it. Service was great and very polite.

Pray to god you don't get stuck in a room above the Lounge if you're hoping to be up early the next morning. One the worst hotel experiences I've had in recent memory. Avoid at all costs.

We frequent "The El" regularly, it's one of our favorite's in Kelowna! The patio is AMAZING and we love the lounge in the evenings! We had an awesome bartender on Saturday night, Michael — he was one of the best servers we've ever had! Super funny, friendly and made our night. Food is always spectacular. 5 stars for sure.

Always have a blast going to Eldorado parasail! Had a fun, relaxing time in the air and great company from the parasail crew! Can't wait to come back.

The room and view were lovely but they placed us above a wedding reception with heavy base and loud music till 12am when we needed a really early start the following morning. The hotel staff's response… 'Just a couple more hours… ' Given we had paid for the expensive lake view room we didn't get the relaxing evening we wished for… this was appalling planning on behalf of the hotel not to separate the wedding party rooms from those allocated to others guests. A real shame.

Beautiful dining rooms and excellent food. So romantic! The views at sunset are to die for. Very busy on Saturday nights and Sunday brunch is quiet popular so make reservations!

We stayed at and had our Corporate Christmas Party at the hotel this past weekend. The hotel is beautiful and the dinner was delicious. Check in was pleasant, the rooms were spacious and being able to overlook the beautiful lake from our large patio was wonderful. However, we were extremely disappointed to be told about the Sunday brunch the night before by hotel staff but when we tried to call for a reservation the following morning, we were told it was completely booked, even though we called in advance. It was a bit frustrating to have to leave your hotel which serves breakfast, to eat breakfast somewhere else. It seems reasonable to expect some tables be reserved for hotel guests. Also, we had brought a card for all the staff to sign during our party but accidentally left it behind on the table. We went back in the morning to collect it only to find out hotel staff had thrown it out. Considering the table was under our company name and many staff were staying at the hotel, you think they would have hung on to it or called one of our rooms to let us know they found it. It wouldn't have been difficult. After having 15 of our staff members put the time in to write in the card, it was very frustrating to have it dumped without a thought. In summary I would consider staying there again as it was very beautiful but we definitely left with a bit of bitter taste in our mouths.

This is my favorite place to spend on the water on a summer night. I met my husband here in the early afternoon while having a glass of Vino. We spent the entire afternoon in the lounge getting to know each other, and then it led into dinner and dancing that night. I love the fact that this is a heritage building which has a warm feeling. Old hardwood floors, fireplace, and many characteristics. We also chose to get married here which was perfect for the feel and ambience for our wedding. The Eldorado worked with other vendors I hired for our wedding. I gave specific instructions to the staff and when we saw the reception for the first time after our ceremony I was extremely happy. They met all needs for our wedding.

I did have an unfortunate incident at the Eldorado over a week ago, but was pleased to see that it was finally dealt with in a professional and appropriate manner, Originally I was not pleased due to a number of factors; including safety issues, lack of proper documentation of the issue and management not returning my phone calls. However, The Director of Operations, Sean, finally got in touch with me and we reviewed the situation. He explained the various things that had occurred to address the concerns I had outlined in my previous review and I was pleased with the conversation. I believe it was a good learning experience for the establishment and I doubt a similar incident will occur. I am pleased to say I will return to the hotel and hope to enjoy drinks on the patio, brunch in the restaurant and the beautiful setting. Thanks for the attention to this matter, even though it did take a bit of time.

Great night. Comfortable. Super friendly staff. Lounge was great for dinner. Gorgeous view. Pool and hot tub was just what we needed.

I stayed for a week for a wedding, with the reception held at Eldorado. The food prepared at the wedding was beyond expectations, and the bartender / servers were attentive and friendly. The hotel roof is a beautiful addition, allowed for excellent viewing of the fireworks display. When the group had an emergency, night staff were attentive and kind. Beautiful resort, first class facilities. The rooms are quite nice, with even a bonus turn down service. Great bathrooms and beds. Valet parking, and staff are helpful with any parking issues you may have. My only complaint that the boat dock is rather difficult to use, requires a few practice runs to avoid hitting the boat against the boards. Although the staff are fully equipped with equipment at the boat dock. The restaurant was excellent. Dinner is rather pricey, but very good and unique. Breakfast meals were heaven on a plate. Convenient liquor store located in the hotel.
